McDonald’s has gathered a number of like-minded organizations to raise money to help the United Nations’ food program respond to the migrant crisis in Europe and the Middle East.

McDonald’s, along with companies like DreamWorks Animation, MasterCard and Facebook, will donate paid television airtime or access to digital media to promote the World Food Program, including through the use of a 30-second animated commercial narrated by the actor Liam Neeson.

One more good reason to eat at Chick-fil-A. Maybe Mickey D's thinks they can bring back some of the business they have lost by being politically correct.

Fine. Let them try to build their business on crappy food served by illiterate foreigners making $15 per hour.

Does McDonalds produce pork products? That would be a good way to go to help the migrant hungry (that I’d want to feed).

No, no, no. It's not about feeding them Big Macs or whatever Facebook makes. It's about taking money out of your pocket and giving it to thousands of bureaucrats.

Call it Socialist Security.

I was going to ask: Who is McD’s trying to placate?

The McRib is allegedly pork, although who knows?

And they use bacon for their breakfasts and sandwiches.

I think PC has nothing to do with it. I think since we the people are so against the GOPe, Chamber of Commerce Amnesty, and bringing in foreigners to take our jobs THEY are doing it under the guise of humanitarian assistance by bringing in the alleged refugees right under our noses.

Could it be McD’s strategy to cultivate workers who will be delighted to make less than $15/hr?

Are they raising money to feed them in refugee camps in Turkey or elsewhere? Then it seems a worthwhile idea.

If they are raising money to bring them here, absolutely not.

If Mickey D’s would just feed the refugees their burgers and fries, they would all choose to tough it out back in Syria.

They’ll probably toss the food away as they did in Hungary.

Just give food to children and their parents.

All of the hordes of ungrateful young men can go hungry as far as I’m concerned.
