Just over two weeks ago, MSNBC host Martin Bashir delivered a harsh piece of commentary that culminated in the suggestion that someone should “s-h-i-t” in former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin‘s (R-AK) mouth. Bashir offered an abject apology on his next broadcast, but a chorus of critics continued to demand action against the host. After a reported “vacation” for the host earlier this week, Bashir announced, Wednesday afternoon, that MSNBC and Martin Bashir are parting ways.

After eternally angry Alec Baldwin let loose his latest anti-gay rant — calling a Post photographer a “c–ks–king f-g” — the cable network yanked its flailing “Up Late” chat-show host off the air for two episodes starting Friday night. Virginia Lieutenant Governor Ralph Northam is the subject of nationwide condemnation today for refusing to shake hands with his pro-life black conservative Republican opponent, E.W. Jackson. Northam was caught on camera refusing to shake Jackson’s hand after supporting Obamacare and attacking conservative Christian voters. Piers Morgan used a fake news site to mock Sarah Palin on Twitter on Thursday. He linked to the satirical news site The Daily Currant saying that Palin claimed Jesus celebrated Easter.
