Members of the media—especially its liberal branch—like to brag about their tough coverage of Hillary’s e-mail scandal. And it’s true that over the past several months, some reporters have asked Hillary far sharper questions about her use of a private e-mail server than any query she faced at last week’s two-hour Cinderella-and-the-four–dwarfs Democratic debate. But what these liberal reporters don’t say is that they’ve used the excuse of their e-mail focus to give Hillary a free ride on everything else that she’s done that is either unethical or illegal. In fact, as Hillary prepares to testify this week before the...

Our story takes us back to 2012 where an openly gay judge refused to issue marriage licenses. New York Daily News reported: An openly gay Texas judge says she refuses to conduct marriage ceremonies for straight couples until same-sex couples can also wed. Dallas County Judge Tonya Parker explained her decision Tuesday at a monthly meeting for the Stonewall Democrats of Dallas. “I do not perform them because it is not an equal application of the law. Period,” she said, according to the Dallas Voice, a newspaper for the gay community. “So I usually will offer them something along the...

They say it’s not the crime, but the coverup. But sometimes it’s the crime and the coverup. Hillary Clinton’s metastasizing email scandal is beginning to look more and more like a case of both. Back in the seventies, Charles Colson of Watergate fame boasted he would “walk over my own grandmother†to assure the election of Richard Nixon. Hillary Clinton — who cut her teeth on the very Watergate investigation before she was “let go†by the House Judiciary Committee under disputed circumstances — now may have to demand the same kind of loyalty from longtime “girl Friday†Huma...

Former Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton’s closest aide is starting to look like a liability on the campaign trail for the Democratic presidential front-runner. Huma Abedin, who has been at Mrs. Clinton’s side as her personal assistant — or “body woman” — since the 2008 presidential race, has come under scrutiny for pocketing a $33,000 payout from the State Department for unused leave and using her simultaneous employment inside and outside of government to “deliver favors” to Clinton cronies.

Thousands of Americans, including former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee and famed evangelist Franklin Graham, have come to the defense of a chaplain who could be thrown out of the Navy because of his Christian faith. Lt. Cmdr. Wes Modder has been accused of failing to show “tolerance and respect” in private counseling sessions regarding issues pertaining to faith, marriage and sexuality – specifically homosexuality. Modder, who is endorsed by the Assemblies of God, has also been accused of being unable to “function in the diverse and pluralistic environment” of the Naval Nuclear Power Training Command in Goose Creek, S.C. The...

".............Her career has not been without bumps and criticism. The Oregonian, the largest newspaper in the state, as well as Ms. Brown’s hometown paper, endorsed her opponent, a Republican, in her 2012 re-election race for secretary of state, partly because she had delayed an election – elections are a function of the secretary of state’s office — in ways that seemed, the paper said, politically calculated to help a Democrat. ..........She also got a black eye last month when the online publication, The Verge, citing email records, said she was among a group of politicians around the nation who had...

Lindsay Lohan has been fired from Inferno, the Linda Lovelace biopic, following her numerous stints in rehab, legal troubles, and generally unreliable behavior. Writer-director Matthew Wilder has been shockingly supportive up to this point, waiting patiently while the 24-year-old former actress’ countless attempts to overcome her addictions to drugs and alcohol. A cynical person might think Wilder was using her for the free publicity, since the movie’s title made an appearance in almost every story about Lohan’s personal decline and disappearing career.

(CNN) -- A school district in Mississippi has agreed to pay a recent high school graduate $35,000 in damages and adopt a policy prohibiting discrimination based on sexual orientation, according to a statement released Tuesday by the American Civil Liberties Union. The settlement comes after the ACLU sued the school district in Fulton, Mississippi, on behalf of Constance McMillen, a lesbian teen who was told by Itawamba Agricultural High School officials she and her girlfriend would be ejected if they attended the school-sponsored prom.

We'll let the bloviators debate whether Elena Kagan is liberal enough. We're more interested in that other "l" word attached to the solicitor general. You know, lady. In announcing his Supreme Court pick Monday, President Barack Obama called Kagan a "trailblazing lady." Come again?

WASHINGTON — Sen. Lindsey Graham gave a guardedly positive reaction Monday to President Barack Obama’s choice of Solicitor General Elena Kagan to serve on the Supreme Court while stopping short of a full endorsement. Sen. Jim DeMint said he's troubled that Kagan hasn't been a judge, but the Greenville, S.C., Republican withheld final judgment until he learns more about her during confirmation hearings. Graham, a Seneca, S.C., Republican, and DeMint split on Obama’s first Supreme Court nominee, Sonia Sotomayor. Graham was one of nine Republican senators who voted last August to confirm Sotomayor as the first Hispanic justice. DeMint joined...

Disappointment as US high school students snub 'lesbian-friendly prom' Senior prom fell far short of the rite of passage Constance McMillen was hoping for when she began a legal battle to challenge a ban on same-sex dates. Published: 7:00AM BST 07 Apr 2010 Constance McMillen Photo: AP The 18-year-old lesbian student said that she was one of only seven students to show up at a private party chaperoned by school officials. She said the rest of her peers went to another private event where she wasn't invited. "It was not the prom I imagined," she said. "It really hurts my...

TEMPE, AZ -- It was a very different scene inside and outside of an ASU auditorium Thursday night as Janet Napolitano spoke about the biggest challenges to our nation's security. "(Immigration reform) is the most important issue for President Obama and of course this country," she said. But protestors outside the speech say it's more like a lack of immigration reform. "It hasn't changed anything here in Maricopa County, everything has continued," said protestor Carlos Garcia. Ever since Napolitano left her job as Arizona governor to become the Homeland Security Secretary, she's been criticized for being too soft on Arpaio's...

Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano has put the brakes on SBInet, the $3 billion plan to build a virtual fence along the U.S. border with Mexico. “Not only do we have an obligation to secure our borders, we have a responsibility to do so in the most cost-effective way possible,” Napolitano said in a statement Tuesday. “The system of sensors and cameras along the Southwest border known as SBInet has been plagued with cost overruns and missed deadlines.” With that in mind, Napolitano is withholding funding for the program’s first deployment until a review she ordered in January is finished....

OTTAWA — A lesbian soldier who deserted the U.S. army won a key court victory Friday when a judge ordered the refugee board to reconsider her failed asylum claim and take into account compelling evidence that she was persecuted and that her sexual orientation could mean stiffer punishment for going AWOL. Federal Court Justice Yves de Montigny's order for the board to consider a gay U.S. soldier as a credible refugee candidate is believed to be a first, said a spokesman for the U.S. military. "I have never heard of anybody attempting to do that before," said army spokesman Lt.-Col....

Suze Orman, who has been called a "one-woman financial advice powerhouse," took this Valentine’s Day weekend to champion gay marriage. Saying marriage is a "privilege," Orman — who is gay — points out that married couples receive myriad financial benefits, and no one should be barred from taking advantage of that. It is such a travesty that a few months ago Proposition 8 in California passed, Proposition 2 in Florida passed. What is that about, everybody? We are taking away a birthright, if you ask me, for people to get the most out of the money they have spent their...
