Burger King employees apparently played a cruel joke and it cost them their jobs. A police officer in New Mexico posted a picture of a Burger King wrapper he claims to have received from a restaurant in Clovis. A cartoon pig is crudely drawn on the wrapper, and the photo bears the text, “When you order food in uniform.” Not only was the wrapper defaced, but the officer also claims that the food appeared to have been burned. The photo was uploaded to Facebook by Timo Rosenthal. He captioned it, “Well, while on lunch break (and in uniform) I ordered...

Two videos showing people dousing New York police officers with water and hurling objects at them were uploaded to Twitter on July 22. In one video, two officers are making an arrest while people shower them with water. One person launches a bucket at the back at the head of one officer, hitting him.“The videos of cops being doused with water and having objects hurled at them as they made an arrest in Harlem is reprehensible,” wrote New York City Police Chief Terence Monahan on Twitter on the day of the dousing. “NYC’s cops & communities have made remarkable progress—together—but...

Dante de Blasio is the son of Democratic New York Mayor Bill de Blasio, who has abandoned his crime-wracked city (but not his public office, tax-subsidized salary or perks) for a quixotic presidential bid to become America's social justice warrior-in-chief. Calculated to promote his race card-playing dad's campaign, Dante stoked anti-cop hysteria a few weeks ago with a widely disseminated USA Today op-ed. Dante's screed came just days after de Blasio declared at the first Democratic debate: "I'm different from all of the other candidates in this race in that I'm raising a black son in America." De Blasio reminds...

In an age of pre-branded franchises and social media currency...DiCaprio remains a global movie star, one whose consistent bankability and acclaim set him apart from his peers...He is arguably the only global superstar left in a film industry in which an interchangeable group of actors regularly suit up in spandex or brandish a lightsaber for the latest billion-dollar earner — only to be ignored by audiences outside of franchises... DiCaprio sits alone atop the Hollywood pantheon without ever having made a comic book movie, family film or pre-branded franchise. Leo is the franchise. Now, after a four-year absence from the...

Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez next year.“But to just come from the outside and take somebody on is really difficult,” Cummings told The Post in an exclusive interview. The one-time bartender Ocasio-Cortez inspired him to run — for her 14th congressional district seat.“It was pointed out to me by my students that Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez pretty much made my excuse– and I’ll use their quotes– ‘a lame one,’” he said.So the 59-year-old Saint Raymond High School instructor plans to file paperwork with...

The largest union representing New York City police officers blasted Mayor Bill de Blasio (D), a frequent target, for his comments during Wednesday night’s Democratic debate about discussing how to avoid police run-ins with his African American son. "Mayor de Blasio has apparently learned nothing over the past six years about the extremely damaging impact of anti-police rhetoric on both cops and the communities we serve,” Patrolmen's Benevolent Association of New York President Patrick Lynch said in a statement. “Something that sets me apart from all my colleagues running in this race and that is for the last 21 years...

(CNSNews.com) – New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio said Wednesday that he’s the only Democratic presidential candidate with a black son, and he’s had to talk to his son about how to protect himself and how to deal with the police. MSNBC’s Rachel Maddow asked, “As an executive in the largest city in this country, you are used to saying what you want to have happen and having it happen. If you nominate a Supreme Court nominee as president of the United States and Mitch McConnell is still majority leader, what makes you believe that he will allow you...

That South Bend Mayor Pete Buttigieg got waylaid by a group of Black Lives Matter protesters in his own hometown Friday following the fatal police shooting of an allegedly knife-wielding black man is testament to the fact that ideology and pandering will get you absolutely nowhere with these folks. Buttigieg, you see, is gay, as liberal as they come, and totally on board with every insane ‘social justice’ redistribution scheme these Marx-lovers could possibly dream up, but despite all that, he remains a white male in a position of leadership in a town where a white police officer shot a...
