Malik Obama, the president’s Kenyan half brother, was photographed in 2010 at a public event in Yemen wearing a “keffiyeh”—a special scarf—bearing two anti-Israel slogans of the terror group Hamas, it emerged today. “Jerusalem is ours—WE ARE COMING,” reads one saying. “From the river to the sea,” says the other statement. That rallying cry refers to Palestinian militants’ belief that the territory representing Israel, with the Jordan River to the east and the Mediterranean Sea to the west, rightfully belongs to them—and Israel should not exist. The photo appears on the website of the Barack H. Obama Foundation, a group...

Langat said the unknown gunman shot the deceased and escaped using a motorbike. "We are investigating the shocking murder. "The motive behind the incident remains mystery but we have launched thorough investigations," Langat told Xinhua by telephone. "Ahmed was a very innocent man well known to many Malindi residents. "It’s...

The U.S. military has deployed a small number of uniformed trainers and advisers to the failed state of Somalia for the first time since 1993, when two helicopters were shot down and 18 Americans were killed in the failed “Black Hawk Down” operation. A cell of U.S. military personnel has been stationed in the Somali capital of Mogadishu since last fall to advise and coordinate operations with African troops fighting to wrest control of the country from the al-Shabab militia, an Islamist group whose leaders have professed loyalty to al-Qaeda, according to three U.S. military officials. The previously undisclosed deployment...

At least 30 members of the militant Islamist group al Shabaab have been killed in an air strike on one of their training camps in Somalia, Kenya’s military said on Friday. The raid, which took place Thursday evening, targeted an al Shabaab camp in Garbarahey, a district situated in the southwestern Gedo region, which is near the country’s borders with Kenya and Ethiopia. "KDF (Kenya Defence Force) fighter jets attacked an al Shabaab camp, where a meeting was being held," a senior KDF official said. "Initial battle damage assessment indicates more than 30 al Shabaab militants [were] killed, including key...

We all know there has been a lot of controversy around Obama’s ghost written book Dreams From My Father. In fact there is a lot of inquisition that goes into the majority of what Obama says—lately most of which turns out to be lies. We reported earlier in December about Obama’s half brother releasing a book correcting all the lies Obama claimed to be true in Dreams From My Father. Mark Obama Ndesanjo Mark Obama Ndesandjo recently took to a radio talk show with Laura Ingraham in order to talk about a few of the controversial book’s points. It wasn’t...

Filed on appeal almost a year ago, a legal challenge against Barack Obama remains lurking in the hallways and offices of the Alabama Supreme Court, where at least two justices already have indicated an interest in the radioactive issue of Obama’s constitutional eligibility to serve as president. Court officials confirmed to WND today that the case brought by attorney Larry Klayman, who founded Freedom Watch, and most recently hit the headlines for a successful fight against Obama’s program run by the National Security Agency to spy on Americans, remains on the docket. It’s been fully briefed, but the justices haven’t...

The British media seem hellbent to romanticize the comings and goings of 29-year-old Samantha Lewthwaite, who is believed to have fled Kenya to Somalia after the Nairobi shopping mall massacre in September. The authorities of many lands continue to miss those comings and goings, somehow missing Lewthwaite’s cross border movements even when she has four children in tow. There have since been four reported sightings of Lewthwaite in Somalia, who remains at large.

Nine members of the Eritrea national football team and the coach of the squad have disappeared in Kenya following a regional football tournament. After Eritrea were eliminated from the Cecafa Senior Challenge Cup, which was won by Kenya last weekend, the 12 men disappeared. Cecafa general secretary Nicholas Musonye told Reuters: "The players and the coach have absconded." It is not the first time players from the national squad have defected abroad. Last December, 17 players and the team doctor claimed asylum in Uganda, 18 months after 13 players from an Eritrean club side sought refuge in Tanzania.

The NYPD believe just four men may have been behind the attack on a Kenyan mall that killed more than 60 civilians in September and they all probably escaped alive. The report, released on Tuesday, contradicts many of the claims made by Kenyan authorities, who had previously said that as many as 15 attackers were involved, including possible foreign nationals, and that they held hostages. More than 60 civilians and six soldiers died in the Sept. 21 assault by terrorists from Somalia's Al-Qaeda-linked Shebab terror group on the Westgate Mall in Nairobi. The victims aged eight to 78, from 13...

Four villagers in north-east Kenya have chased down and captured two cheetahs which were killing their goats. The owner of the goats told the BBC that the cheetahs had been picking off his animals one by one, day by day. The men waited until the hottest part of the day before launching the chase over a distance of four miles (6.4km). The cheetahs got so tired they could not run any more. The villagers captured them alive and handed them over to the Kenya Wildlife Service.

Though the federal government is struggling to make Obamacare functional for Americans, the administration is simultaneously helping to upgrade the health-care system in Kenya. The ambitious plan to expand health-care and social-services access to millions of Kenyans is one of several recent U.S. endeavors to surface, indicating that yet another spike in assistance to Kenya is taking place. As U.S. Trade & Aid Monitor reported, the U.S. Agency for International Development in June 2012 alerted contractors that its Kenyan aid portfolio was growing “exponentially.”Now, the most recent endeavor is the enhancement of an existing “five-year mission supporting the centralized health-care...

Move over, Sharks and Jets. New Yawk's next turf rumble could pit roach against roach. According to an ongoing study called the National Cockroach Project, the roaches of three NYC neighborhoods—the Upper West Side, the Upper East Side, and Roosevelt Island—are genetically distinct. Like many of the city's humans, each group tends to stay in its own neighborhood. And, since American cockroaches originated overseas, these urban insects can also claim immigrants as ancestors. To find out more about what's bugging the Big Apple, we sat down with the project's lead scientist: Mark Stoeckle, an infectious-disease specialist and senior research associate...
