“This is a showdown for American freedom,” said Pamela Geller about the abortive jihad beheading plot against her, and she was right. The showdown is right upon them now, and mainstream media talking heads have no idea of the significance of what is happening.“They targeted me for violating sharia blasphemy laws. They mean to kill everyone who doesn’t do their bidding and abide by them voluntarily,” Geller added.“It’s just beginning,” she warned. “ISIS is here. Islamic terrorism is here.”That is all true. The jihad plot against Pamela Geller was an attempt to enforce Sharia blasphemy laws upon someone who does...

The Tsarnaev brothers exploded bombs at the Boston Marathon. Tarek Mehanna translated documents for Al Qaeda from his Sudbury home. Ashland’s Rezwan Ferdaus planned to crash model airplanes laden with explosives into the Pentagon and US Capitol. All were homegrown terrorist plots in and around Boston in recent years. And then, last week, a Roslindale man who was being tracked by an antiterrorism task force and who allegedly had vowed to kill police officers was shot to death by investigators as he allegedly brandished a knife. These episodes raise a question: Is Boston more vulnerable to violent extremism than other...

ISIS terrorists are abusing the UK benefits system to fund their holy war in Iraq and Syria, authorities fear. Hundreds of Brits are believed to have travelled abroad to fight with ISIS and many of them are still believed to be claiming taxpayer-funded benefits. Experts believe jihadists have committed a number of high-level frauds to deliberately abuse the welfare system. A government probe has now been launched to establish the extent of the dodgy benefit claims. While a number of countries do have benefits agreements with the UK that allow British citizens to continue claiming state hand-outs, Iraq and Syria...

If you want to create “Space to Destroy”, why not go all the way? Baltimore Mayor Stephanie Rawlins-Blake is all about creating “Space to Destroy” for misguided youth. But most of Baltimore still hasn’t been destroyed. It’s time to bring in the talented folks who destroyed Syria to get the job done. Ann at the invaluable Refugee Resettlement Watch blog has the story. Islamic Relief USA is helping immigrants and refugees to find promising opportunities as instruments of economic and community growth in Baltimore. Baltimore Mayor Stephanie Rawlins-Blake recognized the successes of this program at a local film screening this...

Lindsey Graham says he'd welcome Caitlyn Jenner as a political ally. He'd work with Democrats on entitlement reforms. And he'd lower climate-harming emissions to address global warming. As long as you agree there's "too much debt, too many terrorists," the South Carolina senator and 2016 presidential contender says there's room in his Republican Party for you. "Here's what I would say to the talk show hosts: In the eyes of radical Islam, they hate you as much as they hate Caitlyn Jenner," Graham said. "They hate us all because we won't agree to their view of religion. So America, we...

A group of religious leaders and health experts yesterday called on President Obama to provide access to funding so that women who have been raped by terrorists abroad can have abortions. Christian, Jewish and Muslim leaders met at St John's Episcopal Church, just opposite the White House, to raise awareness of the need to provide post-rape care, including abortions, for the victims of groups such as ISIS in Syria and Iraq and Boko Haram in Nigeria. "Women are dying now. Families are being pushed further into poverty now because this care is not available to them," said Rev Harry Knox,...

The Islamic State has published a propaganda video that threatens Balkan countries and calls on Muslims to either join it, or launch attacks in the Balkans. The video, titled "Honor is in jihad, a message to the Balkans", has been published by the Alhayat Media Center - a propaganda center established to reach audiences in the West with Islamic messages. The video, that lasts a little over 22 minutes, has an English language narrator talking about the history of the Balkans, while showing historical footage, and about the Muslim communities in Bosnia-Herzegovina, Kosovo, Macedonia, Albania "and other countries in the...

The Islamic state militants continued to manifest their animosity when they beheaded a Libyan soldier before a group of young children for educational purposes. And what surprised many in the footage which the militants released is that the youngsters were never shocked. Some looked somewhat amused as they posed for photographs, as others just peered emotionless down at the body. The Islamic State militants said they performed the beheading in front of the children for “educational purposes.” The slain Libyan soldier, Abdulnabi Shurgawi, was charged with apostasy, which amounts to not practicing the Islamic faith in accordance with the extremist...

It turns out that Republicans in Washington are united on one issue: their hatred of Rand Paul. John McCain says that he is “the worst possible candidate . . . on the most important issue.” Marco Rubio opines that “he has no idea what he’s talking about.” Lindsey Graham concludes that it would be “devastating” for the party to nominate him. Conservative commentators are even more vicious and ad hominem. The obsession with Paul is striking. In a Post op-ed last summer, then-Texas Gov. Rick Perry mentioned Paul 10 times. I cannot recall an instance in recent decades when so much vitriol...

Never bring a knife to
a gunfight. That wasn’t dead thug Usaamah Rahim’s first big mistake, but it was certainly the final one of his shiftless, leeching 26 years on earth. But at least the Islamist savage shared with us his final words. “You drop yours!” OK, so it’s not quite up there with, say, “Top o’ the world, Ma! Top o’ the world!” or “Mother of Mercy, is this the end of Rico?” But Cagney and Robinson had Hollywood scriptwriters. The terrorist du jour was ad-libbing. Besides, “Mother of Mercy, is this the end of Usaamah?” just doesn’t have...

A Boston imam and the aunt of the 26-year-old Roslindale man killed by police and the FBI on Tuesday say he was not a terrorist and blamed his “murder” on the media, an investigation gone awry and the strained relationship between cops and black men. “I ask that God overlook the shortcomings in the people who continue to exist that murdered the young man,” said Imam Abdullah Faaruuq of the Mosque for the Praising of the Lord in Roxbury yesterday. “I know that’s probably not what they intended in their hearts. But this is how they’re trained — to shoot...

This Providence Journal report doesn’t say so, but the jihadis’ beheading target was Pamela Geller. “Court complaint: 2 Mass. terror suspects met on R.I. beach to plot beheading,” by Amanda Milkovits, Providence Journal, June 3, 2015: WARWICK, R.I. — Two Massachusetts men under surveillance by terrorism investigators met with an unidentified third person on a Rhode Island beach in Sunday’s rain to discuss a plot to behead people in another state, according to a complaint filed in U.S. District Court Wednesday. The plan that Usaamah Abdullah Rahim and David Wright shared with the third person changed early Tuesday morning, when Rahim...

… and now a ballistics match between the Cyclist and the Motorist. This is one of those stories seemingly missed by the national media as the course of time clouds the dot connections. Back on April 24th the New York Post wrote an article about four incidents where motorists windows were shot out in a similar area in Colorado. The New York Post article was prompted by the shooting of a driver on I-25, Cori Romero (25): […] Mystery shootings in northern Colorado have prompted concern that a serial attacker may be targeting highway drivers, police said. The worst incident...

A passenger on board a cruise ship who was beaten, raped and almost thrown overboard by one of the crew members, is suing the cruise company. Now the victim is suing Holland America after it was determined that her attacker, Ketut Pujayasa, used a master key to enter the woman’s cabin and hide on her balcony until she returned. During the attack, which lasted over an hour, Pujayasa beat the woman with blunt objects including a laptop, strangled her, raped her, and even attempted to throw her over the side of the vessel. The 31-year-old woman’s screams for help were...

BARCELONA – After World War I, when millions of European civilians were made refugees, forced out of their homelands by enemy occupation or deportation, an international regime was developed to coordinate effective responses and ease the suffering of those who had been uprooted. A century later, another refugee crisis is underway, and this time, it is Europe that has the power to provide safe haven to desperate people. Yet it has not risen to the occasion, with many of its responses failing to match the urgency of the situation. In just the first few months of 2015, more than 38,000...

Republican Congressman Trey Gowdy’s efforts to shed light on the government’s secretive refugee resettlement program continues to play out in letters between himself and the federal agency responsible for resettling thousands of foreign refugees in U.S. cities and towns every year. Since his letters haven’t produced many answers, he’s now calling for a meeting with State Department officials. Gowdy, R-S.C., started asking questions in April about how refugees are distributed to various cities, the impact on local job markets and public services, and who makes the key decisions, among other points of interest. His questions came after it was revealed...

On April 25, police raided a Christian worship service in Asella just south of the capital, Addis Ababa. The Church of Asella had just baptized 40 new converts to Christianity, prompting mass arrests. One of those imprisoned, a former Muslim who converted to Christianity known only as “Palus Ejigu,” said, “We were gathered for sharing and encouraging each other with the Word of God. After we finished the service, police imprisoned us. Some of our friends ran away when they saw the way we were harshly handled.”After weeks of suffering harsh prison conditions and abuses, Ejigu was eventually released. But five...

Usaamah Rahim, the man fatally shot by Boston police after brandishing a military knife at them on Tuesday, plotted to behead conservative blogger and activist Pamela Geller, CNNreported. Ms. Geller organized the Prophet Muhammad cartoon drawing contest in Garland, Texas, on May 3 at which two suspects opened fire on a security guard before being shot and killed by police. “They targeted me for violating Shariah blasphemy laws,” Ms. Geller told CNN’s Erin Burnett. Rahim, 26, who authorities believe was radicalized by the Islamic State and other extremists, was fatally shot two hours after allegedly telling an associate of plans...

The anti-police movement appears to be influencing how Islamists in Boston are reacting to the shooting of terror suspect Usaama Rahim and the investigation of David Wright. While some Muslim advocates are attempting to spark inner-city angst over the shooting by exploiting recent events in Ferguson, NYC, and Baltimore, others are putting pressure on the police as they investigate the terror plot. Rahim, the man who was shot by anti-terrorism officers in Boston yesterday, and Wright, the suspect now in custody, were allegedly ISIS-inspired jihadists who had planned to behead a police officer in a plot disturbingly reminiscent of the...

A man with ties to the Bay Area was shot and killed by police in Boston on Tuesday. Officials say the suspect was being followed by the Joint Terrorism Task Force and was wielding a military-style knife at officers. Officials told NBC News the officer and agent had been investigating whether the man, identified as Usaama Rahim, had become radicalized by ISIS-inspired social media messages. The man’s brother, who is from Oakland, is asking for prayers. Back on the East Coast, the case remains under investigation.
