Agencies within the United States Government will begin withholding federal grant funds from those cities, and additional actions to enforce federal immigration law will be taken soon. A 34-year-old Mexican citizen arrested in Mandeville pleaded guilty Wednesday (Sept. 7) to possessing a gun while in the U.S. illegally, according to the U.S. Attorney's office in New Orleans. Multiple media sources have identified the driver of the truck that plowed into the crowd killed 84 people as Mohamed Lahouaiej Bouhel, 31. Reportedly Bouhel was a Nice resident of Tunisian origin, and may have dual citizenship. Bouhel was a married father of three and a professional delivery driver.
