President Trump this week signed an executive order declaring war on so-called sanctuary cities. Agencies within the United States Government will begin withholding federal grant funds from those cities, and additional actions to enforce federal immigration law will be taken soon. Unlike Obama, President Trump is not trying to making new laws by executive decree. In his Executive Order, the president is only reminding mayors and governors of existing federal law dating to 1996: U.S. Code › Title 8 › Chapter 12 › Subchapter II › Part IX › § 1373 8 U.S. Code § 1373 – Communication between government...

Brent Scher of the Washington Free Beacon reports that the Democratic party’s slate of nominees for DNC chair has agreed to participate in a candidate forum hosted at a restaurant owned by a rabid critic of Israel. The decision to hold it there may give the leading contender for DNC chair — the rabidly anti-Israel and one-time Louis Farrakhan backer Keith Ellison — something of a “home field” advantage. Sadly, however, it’s far from clear that any of the participants will feel out of place. (Tom Perez is the only contender who has not confirmed he will attend.) The restaurant...

<p>A lot is being said now about the “silent secret Trump supporters.”</p>
<p>This is my confession — and explanation: I — a 51-year-old, a Muslim, an immigrant woman “of color” — am one of those silent voters for Donald Trump. And I’m not a “bigot,” “racist,” “chauvinist” or “white supremacist,” as Trump voters are being called, nor part of some “whitelash.”</p>

Over the past few weeks, we've written frequently about allegations of voter fraud from around the country. The key swing state of Virginia, in particular, seems to be a hotbed of potential corruption as evidenced by the actions of 19 year old "Young Virginia Democrat", Andrew Spieles, who allegedly acted alone to re-register a bunch of dead voters in his home state (see our post here). Then there were the efforts of Virginia's governor, and long-time Clinton confidant, Terry McAuliffe to register 200,000 felons to vote. But Virginia, isn't the only state with questionable voter registration practices. Fraudulent voter registrations...

Federal authorities said in the affidavit that in late March, Jalloh made his first contact with a source who was working with a now-deceased overseas co-conspirator who was a member of the Islamic State. The overseas co-conspirator encouraged the source to have an in-person meeting with Jalloh, the documents state, and when they did meet on April 9, the FBI was watching. At that meeting, Jalloh praised Mohammad Youssef Abdulazeez, who killed five U.S. service members in Chattanooga, Tenn., last year, the documents said. And Jalloh, at one point, suggested that someone known for organizing contests for cartoons of the...

One of the sitting members on the Homeland Security Advisory Council’s (HSAC) Subcommittee on Countering Violent Extremism is a 25-year-old immigrant of Syrian heritage who said that the 9/11 attacks “changed the world for good” and has consistently disparaged America, free speech and white people on social media. Laila Alawa was one of just 15 people tapped to serve on the newly-formed HSAC Subcommittee on Countering Violent Extremism in 2015 — the same year she became an American citizen. Just last week, the subcommittee submitted a report to Department of Homeland Security Secretary Jeh Johnson, recommending that the DHS avoid...

And wait until you see how the left wing media portrayed what happened. Donald Trump held a rally in New Mexico yesterday. Protesters were on hand but simple protest was not enough. Exercising their rights was not enough. They decided they were going to suppress the rights of Trump and of those who attended the rally. They lit fires and threw rocks and bottles at police, some of whom were injured. They assaulted a wheelchair-bound Trump supporter while chanting "Stop the hate!" (video at the link) https://youtu.be/-qhyJQvHiosThere was violence both inside and outside the rally. As far away as Pakistan it was reported...

In 2009, when Associate Supreme Court Justice Sonia Sotomayor wrote her first opinion as a member of the high court, she used the term "undocumented immigrant" to refer to persons who are in the United States illegally. It is believed to have been the first such usage in the history of the court, where the term "illegal immigrant" had previously been used. In an interview for last week's NPR program Latino USA, Justice Sotomayor explained her decision. She told host Maria Hinojosa: "Illegal immigrant" has a sense, I think, in people's minds, that immigrants are all criminals and criminals in...
