Tancredo:Over 300 Sanctuary Cities Are Costing State and Local Taxpayers over $7B Annually

President Trump this week signed an executive order declaring war on so-called sanctuary cities. Agencies within the United States Government will begin withholding federal grant funds from those cities, and additional actions to enforce federal immigration law will be taken soon. Unlike Obama, President Trump is not trying to making new laws by executive decree. In his Executive Order, the president is only reminding mayors and governors of existing federal law dating to 1996:

After the sanctuary cities run out of money, let the local politicians explain to their taxpayers why they can’t pay their police & firemen.

The mayor can always liquidate the city pension funds to house & feed the illegal immigrants & refugees.

Maybe their cops will do some unpaid overtime as road-side tax-collectors to shake-down the residents to house and feed the illegals.

It can’t include:

- medical costs
- incarceration costs, and costs of crime (DUI deaths, Kate Steinle-type murders)
- educational costs for illegal children
- costs to taxpayers of identity theft

Congress could easily pass a law making Public Officials Civilly Liable for any injury or loss to an American Citizen or Legal Resident at the hands of a Person in the Country Illegally and the State has a Record of it, or has given harbor or aid to.

This is quite low cost of illegal aliens as it only accounts for monies that cities pay out of their budgets. Tancredo also said that the state of Colorado payed out $3B for welfare to Illegals. When they work under the table they steal tax incomes to further undermine the Citizens. Property damage, rape, murder, assault, drunk driving, use of emergency rooms cost us very greatly.
