• Secretary of State John Kerry Explains the Greenhouse Effect

SOS Kerry :“This is simple. Kids at the earliest age can understand this. Try and picture a very thin layer of gases – a quarter-inch, half an inch, somewhere in that vicinity – that’s how thick it is. It’s in our atmosphere. It’s way up there at the edge of the atmosphere. And for millions of years – literally millions of years – we know that layer has acted like a thermal blanket for the planet – trapping the sun’s heat and warming the surface of the Earth to the ideal, life-sustaining temperature. “But in modern times, as human beings...
  • Do Not Toss Your iPhone 6 in the Microwave

While that might seem obvious to some people, others have fallen for the “Wave” hoax making its way around online. The fake advertisement insists that the new iOS 8 allows users to charge their iPhones by placing them in a “household microwave for a minute and a half.” Microwave energy will not charge your smartphone. To the contrary, it will scorch the device and render it inoperable. If you nuke your smartphone and subsequently complain about it online, people will probably make fun of you.
  • Rush Limbaugh TV- Bo Snerdly As Maya Angelou (1993 video clip)

(From rushlimbaugh.com) In an inaugural full of self-congratulation, record wasting of taxpayer money and childishness, perhaps nothing was more memorable that first day of Clinton than Maya Angelou's reading of a poem. This for the man she later called "the First Black President," which wasn't much of a compliment to black Americans like the EIB Network's own Bo Snerdly. So on the January 21, 1993 episode of Rush Limbaugh the TV Show we had a little fun. Rush welcomed Bo "Angelou" Snerdly and let him read his own poem for Bill Clinton. The audience reaction to our own poet laureate?...

The man who jumped the White House railing Sept. 19 deserves the right to live in President Barack Obama’s home, just as the president is allowing hundreds of thousands of border-jumping Central Americans to live in Americans’ homeland, says a new tongue-in-cheek petition posted at the White House website. “We urge President Obama to immediately and publicly recognize that Mr. Omar J. Gonzalez, an oppressed migrant, was merely looking for a better life when he entered the White House after going over the classist, divisive and needless fence,” says the petition,
  • Clinton, Obama, Clooney: Lawyer Who Photoshopped Them Faces Discipline

    09/18/2014 8:45:49 PM PDT · by TigerClaws · 11 replies
An L.A. lawyer apparently thinks she can attract clients by making it seem like she's a celebrity magnate -- rubbing elbows with the likes of George Clooney, Obama, Clinton, Jamie Foxx, Dr. Phil, and on and on. Problem is ... she photoshopped them all, and now the State Bar is coming down on her like a hammer. Svitlana Sangary plastered a bunch of pics on her website, touting her celeb friends. Gotta say ... she did a great photoshopping job. But clearly it didn't amuse the likes of Kim Kardashian, Paris Hilton, Eva Longoria, Brooke Shields, Ellen, Shaq and others....

Vice President Biden's Wednesday kicked off with an acknowledgment that he had used a "poor choice of words." By day's end, he had put foot in his mouth again. Twice. Biden opened the door to the possibility the United States could commit ground troops to fight the Islamic State in Iraq, a strategy the Obama administration has painstakingly avoided raising. That came shortly after he walked back his use of the word "Shylocks" and his use of the anachronistic term "Orient" to describe Asia. Even for the gregarious and outspoken vice president, whose candor has all too often gotten him...

I’m Andrew Klavan and this is the Revolting Truth. Obama: ISIL is not Islamic. Today, the Revolting Truth takes on a hard-hitting investigation, fact checking the President of the United States himself in order to ask the question: is ISIL Islamic? To bring you up to date in case you’re a low information voter or just kind of a doofus, President Barack Obama recently delivered an address to the nation in which he admitted that just about everything George W. Bush did in the Middle East was right, everything Obama himself said about Bush was wrong, and now we had...

So I’m at an observance of Constitution Day last week and in a contest, testing our knowledge of the constitution. Now, I’m gonna win and I’m one question away. The moderator asks: “Besides Constitution Day, what other day is celebrated concurrently? “. “My Birthday!” I yelled. “Wrong Answer” replied the Mod. “You call my Mom on Wednesday and tell her that!” I protested. The Mod says “Anyone know the answer?”. So I’m looking around and . . . Nothing. No one answered. I turned to the gal behind me and whispered “Citizenship Day” and she yelled out the same. Afterward,...

Following up on my post on Friday about the long illustrious history of conservative vote suppression it’s interesting that one of the nation’s foremost activists in the field should be in the spotlight going into the November election. Indeed, he’s right in the middle of one of the most interesting races in the country. I’m referring to Kris Kobach, the Republican Kansas secretary of state who was sued last week by the former Democratic candidate for the Senate who dropped out of the race in favor of an independent. (SNIP) He also said that he might have “shrugg(ed) my shoulders...

This coming Thursday the Scots will vote on whether to make Scotland an independent nation. And I hope they do because it will be a disaster.

I don’t say this as a prejudiced Irishman. Even though the thistle-arse sheep-shagger Scots swiped Ulster and sent a herd of Presbyterian proddy dogs and porridge wogs to squat on our land and won the Battle of the Boyne in 1690 by using unfair—indeed, unheard of —- organization, discipline, and tactics on an Irish battlefield. We Micks only hold a grudge about such things for 300 years or so.

Angry passengers on board an Islamabad-bound Pakistan International Airways (PIA) flight from Karachi forced two prominent Pakistani politicians off the plane accusing them of holding it for more than two hours. PIA's flight PK-370 was scheduled to depart from Karachi's Jinnah International Airport at 7pm on Monday but according to passengers on board it started two hours late. Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) leader and former interior minister Rehman Malik and Pakistan Muslim League - Nawaz (PML-N) member of National Assembly Dr Ramesh Kumar Wakwani allegedly arrived two hours after the scheduled boarding time and were not allowed to travel by...

Tony Auth, 72, of Wynnewood, the Pulitzer Prize-winning cartoonist and mainstay of The Inquirer's editorial page for four decades before resigning in 2012 to become a digital artist, has died. Mr. Auth had been under treatment for metastatic brain cancer. David Leopold, his friend and curator, said he died at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania on Sunday, Sept. 14, four days after his supporters announced a fundraising effort for an archive devoted to his work at Temple University. Mr. Auth's remarkable career began in 1971 when the fledgling artist from California flew in to Philadelphia to interview for...

I’m very depressed that my beloved Georgia Bulldogs lost to the South Carolina Gamecocks. So instead of writing about a serious topic, we’re going to enjoy some laughs today by reviewing some new anti-libertarian humor. I’m a libertarian, of course, as are all decent and humane people. But I appreciate clever humor, even when I’m the target. This video about Somalia being a libertarian paradise, for instance, is an excellent example of political satire. It takes a stereotype and milks it for some great laughs.I also have to tip my proverbial hat to the person who put together this image of...

Thank God for the Wonk Book (WB) run by the Washington Post. For readers who have no idea what the Wonk Book is, it’s a blog run by some Poindexter types at the Post, who get use the amazing and changing D.C. buzzwords like “narrative,” “meme,” “optics,” and “pivot” to make themselves sound important and in-the-know. “Aren't these just buzzwords that dumb people use to sound important?” asked the Simpsons character forever to be called “Writer,” about his generation of “wonks,” known back then as “TV executives”.Yes. Yes, they are.At times the Wonk Book is insufferable, and at times it’s hilarious-...

The Democrats’ leader in the House, California Rep. Nancy Pelosi, is either dishonest, drunk, or losing her mind. Soopermexican caught this tweet from Pelosi, which he calls “brutal stupidity.” Nancy Pelosi ✔ @NancyPelosi An American family can't just change their address to avoid paying taxes. @HouseGOP, why can corporations? Let's put the #MiddleClassFirst! 1:54 PM - 12 Sep 2014 As the multimillionaire Pelosi surely knows, individuals and corporations (which are artificial people under the law) can change their addresses and thereby change their tax burdens. It happens every day. I know that from personal experience. I moved from high-tax Maryland...

ASHINGTON — Sen. Mark Kirk, R-Ill., is invoking first lady Michelle Obama as a possible 2016 opponent in a recent fund-raising appeal, citing the "press and rumor mills" as his source — though Mrs. Obama has given no sign she is interested in running for elected office. It's even doubtful President Barack Obama and the First Family will immediately return to Chicago after leaving the White House, since youngest daughter Sasha will still be in high school here in January, 2017. The letter, dated Sept. 5, serves to confirm that Kirk will seek a second term.
