Dear Members of the Mainstream Media, You’ve been awesome! Everyone knows that we start unwinnable wars with Israel because the real victory happens when you predictably side with us each time. And you’ve been so supportive of our strategy that we really want to acknowledge your helpfulness. In particular, we thank you for: - Focusing so much more on our suffering than anyone else’s. Nigerians must die in far greater numbers before you take notice, so we’re glad that you value our lives so much more. - Minimizing your coverage, if any, of our attacks that led up to Israel’s...

remember the Wailing Iraqi woman..news photos? the woman who was photographed in utter dramatic grief in front of several of her burnt out and in some cases flattened homes? what are the chances that this woman is her jordanian "palestinian" cousin?

What works in a Modern Language Association panel for English professors probably won’t succeed in the free market. In the final coup for the progressive-leaning Archie Comics crew, Archie himself—America’s hero—was shot to death while taking a bullet for his gay friend in the July 2014 issue. archie comics When asked what a ten year old will read for fun, chances are it’s a comic book. Let’s face it: From a kid’s standpoint comic books are entertaining and a good way to spend free time. What could be better than spending free time reading an Archie comic? Archie comics provide...

On Thursday, with PJ Media's J. Christian Adams as her guest, Fox News's Megyn Kelly recited a list of assertions (under oath, she reminded us) made by Internal Revenue Service officials which have later been shown to be lies or cause for agency flip-flops after "new" facts have been revealed. It's a significant list. By implication, it's an indictment of the vast majority of the establishment press, which has refused to give the IRS scandal the attention it deserves. Video and a transcript follow the jump. ... The establishment press has been almost completely uninterested in telling their readers, listeners,...

HBO's VICE News has released a chilling trailer for its new documentary "From ISIS to the Islamic State: Inside the Caliphate," showing young children pledging their allegiance to the ISIS leader Abu-Bakr al-Baghdadi's Caliphate. VICE News journalist and filmmaker Medyan Dairieh had unprecedented access behind the front lines of ISIS's takeover in Iraq. The documentary was filmed in the three weeks during the June operation, which seized several major cities along the Tigris and Euphrates Rivers.

As a Member of Congress from a state on our southern border, I see firsthand the realities of illegal immigration. In fact, much of the recent public outcry originated from busloads of illegal immigrants dumped in Arizona a few short months ago. The strain placed on state and local governments overwhelms security, education, and medical services, making them harder to come by for citizens and immigrants alike. We’ve all read the stories of blown budgets and rising crime, but Members of Congress who come from border states don’t need to read those stories. (SNIP) Doing nothing is not an option....

“Never give up, never surrender!” That’s the hokey battle cry spoken by fictional Commander Peter Taggart, but it also easily applies to the long journey to get the beloved cult film “Galaxy Quest” to the screen. In 1999 Mark Johnson, already an Oscar winner for “Rain Man,” was an independent producer with a deal at DreamWorks Studios. Johnson’s scouts had come across a screenplay called “Captain Starshine” that, by all accounts, wasn’t particularly good, but which had that killer “what if” hook. Basically: what if the Thermians – a group of goofy space aliens – misconstrued old episodes of a...

Liberals seem to think on a different wavelength than the rest of humanity, especially when it comes to the hypocrisy in their “rage” over social issues, gay marriage in particular. “Gay Pride” protests are held on a weekly, possibly daily, basis all around the country, in celebration of someone’s activities that should largely be a private matter behind closed doors. These rallies encourage homosexuals to be proud of their sexual orientation, to flaunt it out in the open, and otherwise revel in it as the fullness of their identity, which seems demeaning as these individuals are certainly more than just...

There were only a few ways Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Tex.) could react to HBO’s “True Blood” portrayal of Texas Republicans being murdered at a fictitious Cruz fundraiser. He could have ignored it, or laughed it off. But he went political. A scene in Sunday’s episode took place at the George W. Bush Presidential Library, where a Cruz function was being held. The vampires who went made disparaging comments about the Republicans in attendance (What do you expect? It’s Hollywood.) and then there was a vicious bloodbath. (We admittedly do not watch “True Blood,” so we can’t offer further context, but...

t seems like just about every week Trey Gowdy is in the news as he fights the good fight against Obama and the liberals. He’s been relentless going after the administration on Benghazi and other scandals, and calling out Democrats like Nancy Pelosi on their “mind-numbing” stupidity. Gowdy has also announced support for a lawsuit against Obama for failing to do his basic executive duties. He’s now got another suggestion to rein in this reckless administration: Defund Obama’s vacations as a punishment for executive overreach. Awesome.

The left-leaning tech blog Pando seems to be angry about a lot of aspects of reality.* Witness David Carr flipping out over this billboard that he spotted in San Francisco, “walking home from Pando’s office a few nights ago.” photo: Paull Carr, Pando

The Daily Kos has come a long way since the days when they merely rejoiced in being easily bribed at their YearlyKos conventions (now renamed Netroots Nation) by presidential aspirants such as Mark Warner who plied the Kossacks with free sushi and expensive liquor at the Stratosphere in Las Vegas in 2006. Yes, they have moved up in the world to the point where they perceive themselves as king, or rather queen, makers. Not only have they basically endorsed the presidential candidacy of Elizabeth Warren, they have even provided her with a campaign song, Run Liz Run. Oddly enough, even...

Anthony Mason spotlighted the death of comic book character Archie Andrews on Wednesday's CBS Evening News, and pointed out that "it all ends...when an adult Archie takes a bullet aimed by a stalker at a gay friend." Mason turned to the comics' publisher, Jon Goldwater, and wondered if he was "trying to make a political statement with this comic book" [MP3 audio available here; video below the jump]. Goldwater denied that he was doing so, even though he underlined that "gun violence is too prevalent in this country, and we should do everything we can to prevent it." However, just...

Marvel is making big changes this year. In a special announcement made on the Colbert Report this evening, the comics giant will this fall have Steve Rogers pass his star-spangled shield on to Sam Wilson, making Wilson (otherwise known as the Falcon) the first black man to take on the official role of Captain America....Falcon, one of Cap's oldest allies, has been rumored for weeks as the most likely candidate to carry on Steve's legacy. After all, Wilson was there to save the former super soldier's life before the end of issue 21. Created in 1969, he was Marvel's first...

As Newsbusters' Jeffrey Meyer wrote earlier today, Jon Stewart lobbed softballs to Hillary Clinton last night on the Daily Show. It would have been nice if he asked if she were reconsidering the possiblility of running for president due to her book sales tumbling so quickly or what she thinks about the possibility of Elizabeth Warren running for the same office. However the interview was significant in one respect: Hillary gaves the strongest hint yet that she is definitely going to throw her pantsuit into the ring. It came at the 1:30 mark of this video when Hillary answered Stewart's...

Hillary Clinton has served America for decades; in January 1993, she made history as she became the country's first co-president along with her husband, Bill. After her tour in the White House ended, she answered the call from her adopted state of New York and voluntarily gave up a lucrative career trading cattle futures to act as one of only two US senators from that state. In 2008, after tirelessly devoting herself to helping Barack Obama become America's best president, she looked forward to retiring to a quiet life in a small cottage somewhere. Once again her country called, pleading...
