The only thing that would make this more perfect is if the feed was going to cows instead of cats.

In reality this entire hoopla was not sprung up by native Americans, but a VERY small group of "progressives" who apparently split from their comrades who busy themselves protesting the pledge of allegiance, nativity displays and the like. Dignitas News was able to infiltrate a high level meeting of the Progressive PC Police team, as they discussed the ongoing dispute over the Washington Redskins team mascot and branding. The following are excerpts from their strategy meeting: NE Patriots-On top of being potentially anti-British, it harkens to our militaristic past. How about the New England Global Villagers? NY Jets-Commercial air transit...

This past week’s second mass shooting at the Ft. Hood Army base may finally stir the Department of Defense into action. Secretary of Defense Chuck Hagel is reportedly ready to ban smoking by military personnel. “While some are using this tragedy to urge that military personnel be allowed to carry weapons for self defense, I am not going to be stampeded into a move that runs counter to the President’s philosophy on guns,” Hagel declared. “These shootings are tragic, but the toll from smoking is far larger.” “Even if we were to come up with a successful counter to these...

Senator Charles Schumer (D-NY) denounced this week’s Supreme Court ruling allowing individuals to donate to as many political causes and candidates as they please. “The worst thing about this decision is that it will hamper the Government’s ability to regulate speech,” Schumer complained. “Critics may end up almost as well financed as spokespersons for the government. That is a formula for dissent and disunity.” “The limits struck down by the Court cut the legal ground out from the Administration’s program of using the IRS to scrutinize and restrain groups that contribute to dissension and disunity,” the Senator added. “Fortunately, the...

Do you know how to spot a psychopath? Test your skills: “At heart, Hare’s test is simple: a list of 20 criteria, each given a score of 0 (if it doesn’t apply to the person), 1 (if it partially applies) or 2 (if it fully applies). The list includes: glibness and superficial charm, grandiose sense of self-worth, cunning/manipulative, pathological lying, emotional shallowness, callousness and lack of empathy, a tendency to boredom, impulsivity, criminal versatility, behavioural problems in early life, juvenile delinquency, and promiscuous sexual behaviour.” Glib, check.Superficial charm, check.Grandiose sense of worth, check. Tendency toward boredom, check.Cunning, manipulative, check.Emotional shallowness, check.Well, you...

Video: What if you only paid the taxes on the things you actually wanted from the government? We are forced to pay for the NSA to listen to our calls, welfare for people who don't want to work, lifetime pensions for those in Congress, Obamacare, and on, and on, and on....... But we apparently *still* don't pay enough according to them. Something to think about on April 15th. PS: Ever notice how April 15th is about as far as you can get in either direction on a calendar from the elections in November?

This week Representative Paul Ryan (R-Wis) presented a 10-year federal budget that would slowly reduce the rate of growth in government spending. His proposal was blasted from both sides of the political spectrum. Former vice-presidential candidate Sarah Palin lambasted its timidity, arguing that “adding more spending now and postponing any slow down in the spending rate to the future ensures a continued accumulation of debt. The hope that some future Congress will have the courage to rein-in runaway spending is not a satisfactory trade-off for refusing to tackle the current spending binge.” President Obama called the Ryan budget “a stinkburger...

Today is First World Problem (FWP) Day: In which we examine issues and problems that only occur because as a culture we have more than our fair share of everything, including time to be outraged:So here we go, in no particular order, this week’s First World Problems:1. Our culture of plenty has resulted in an epidemic of obesity.Overweight kids have forced Lady M to lower the boom on fattening school lunches, resulting in cut backs on portions and variety. This has caused some student blow-back. (caution: “colorful” language)2. Our culture of Plenty and resulting obesity epidemic has caused a preoccupation...

Calling the current $174,000 annual salary (not counting perks) an “injustice,” Representative James Moran (D-Virginia) vowed to “right this wrong.” “Congress is like the board of directors of the largest economic entity in the world,” Moran contended. “With a GDP of over $16 trillion we preside over the distribution of more wealth than any other board of directors. We deserve a bigger piece of this pie.” The Congressman suggested that “a salary of $2 million per year might be a good starting point. In total, that would only amount to around a billion per year share of our $16 trillion...

Revelations that the US Environmental Protection Agency has been conducting deadly experiments on unwitting volunteers have surfaced. According to the Office of the Inspector General (OIG), the EPA’s experiments exposed individuals to pollutants in quantities up to 50 times greater than the levels the agency deems safe. The OIG findings were dismissed as “exaggerated scaremongering” by EPA Administrator Gina McCarthy. “The number of individuals exposed to these toxins are but a tiny fraction of the population. Those criticizing the Agency are overlooking the potentially larger gains to the vast majority of the country that may be achieved by the sacrifice...

I see the tolerant left has banned the “Honor Diaries” from being shown on college campuses. Odd, isn’t it? They would go to the mat to defend Hollywood’s “freedom of speech” right to depict the same sort of heinous crimes – child rape, mutilation, torture, death – that is portrayed in this film. Apparently the normally tolerant campus sensibilities were stretched beyond even their extremely high watermark when such behavior is credited to the religion of peace. And if it’s intolerable to the Council on American–Islam Relations (CAIR) sensibilities, that’s good enough for us: Although Honor Diaries has been widely...
