This week, acting US Attorney for the District of Minnesota Joe Thompson reported that "in addition to the billion dollars of fraud previously discovered another $9 billion has gone missing. The magnitude of fraud in Minnesota cannot be overstated. Staggering amounts of money have been lost." Gov. Tim Walz called Thompson's report "one-sided. He overlooks the initiative demonstrated by a number of our state's refugees from Somalia. Though most of these folks are poorly educated and have few, if any, marketable skills, a cadre of clever scammers were able to enrich themselves far beyond anything they could have hoped for...

Okay, John Hinderaker went and did it last week! He has abused his stewardship of TWiP and went full Die Hard Christmas Movie Denialist! As the Dude says in The Big Lebowski, this aggression will not stand, man! To restore proper balance in the universe, I am staging a coup d’tat, and am taking over this week’s TWiP. To mix movie references further, John has done a Denethor-level job as Steward of TWiP; time for the Return of the (TWiP) King! Actually, like the Gaza and (prospective) Ukraine ceasefires, we’re going to share power, and alternate TWiP each week. And...

VIDEOIf you ACCURATELY describe what has to be done to attempt to change the sex of kids, it would repulse almost everybody due to its physical as well as mental brutality. So what to do? Well, the Left tried to make the idea palatable to the public by giving this grotesque procedure an Orwellian name that tries to avoid the brutal reality... "Gender Affirming Care." They think that will hide the fact of genital mutilation and defying nature by blocking puberty with hormones. No wonder so many mass shooters have turned out to have been the patients of "Gender Affirming...

VIDEOFulton County prosecutor Fani Willis was just investigated by the Georgia State Senate for her handling of the nothngburger case (encouraged by the Biden Regime) against President Donald Trump including charges that her and her boyfriend, Nathan Wade, used the prosecution expenses as a piggy bank for grift including going on expensive cruises together. While watching her meltdowns during that state senate hearing, it is interesting to recall how journalist and FAILED author Michael Isikoff vehemently defended her against the corruption charges in early 2024. Of course, Isikoff had a big financial stake in convincing the public of Fani's integrity...

PHOENIX, AZ — Attendees at Turning Point's AmFest 2025 event experienced an awkward moment last night, as Tucker Carlson interrupted his own speech for an evening prayer to Mecca. Onlookers were startled as Tucker halted a lengthy speech on cancel culture and looked at his phone. "Ope! Looks like it's that time again!" said Tucker to the confused audience as he rolled out an ornate prayer rug and began to kneel. "It's time to pray. That's important, obviously, and we're going to pray together, clearly. I mean, seriously, obviously. Why wouldn't we? HAHAHAHAHA!" Sources said Carlson then began chanting in...

During testimony behind closed doors, former special counsel Jack Smith told lawmakers he believed he could prove President Donald Trump engaged in a "criminal scheme" in order to overturn the 2020 election. NBC News' Ryan Reilly reports on Smith's investigation and what members of Congress had to say. Summary Former special counsel Jack Smith testified in a closed-door House Judiciary Committee hearing on December 17, 2025, after being subpoenaed by Republicans. He defended his investigation into President Trump's efforts to overturn the 2020 election, stating that his team found proof beyond a reasonable doubt of Trump's involvement in a criminal...

VIDEOIn 2026 the FIFA World Cup Soccer arrives in the USA. That will be the time when native born Americans PRETEND (if they are polite) to be interested in Soccer or what the rest of the world calls Football. Watching these Brits suffering extreme meltdowns over absurdly (and typically) low scoring soccer games is amusing to watch. It has convinced me that growing up watching either American football vs soccer somehow wires your brain differently. The way soccer flows with its absurdly low scores just does NOT appeal to Americans who expect higher scores in a game that flows entirely...

VIDEOOne of the interesting facets of the blockade of Venezuela recently announced is the generally contrasting viewpoints of Spanish language sources which overwhelmingly support or at least not opposed to the blockade vs the English speaking media. Here is a sampling of the Spanish language views on this mixed in with commentary by Nicolas "NO GUAR!" Maduro. I'm not sure how valid the final AI-ish clip is but could that be the ultimate outcome in the near future?

CAMBRIDGE — As the nations of the West continue to struggle with understanding how to deal with the spread of immigrants from Islamic countries, a groundbreaking new study found that islamophobia may be at least partially caused by Muslims killing people all the time. The research project, conducted by an elite group of scientists at the University of Cambridge, discovered that millions of people around the globe have grown wary of Muslims due in large part to the fact that Muslims keep committing horrific acts of murderous violence around the world. "Yeah, they just keep killing people all the time,...

WORLD — Fake news media across the globe have reported that a mass shooting occurred in Australia, which is literally impossible because guns are illegal there. Despite the patent absurdity of criminals using guns, which are banned, several major news stations in the United States repeated the obviously fictional story, "It's embarrassing how many news outlets were duped by this clearly fake story," said misinformation expert Harold Cannon. "It would have taken thirty seconds for these so-called news stations to simply Google gun laws in Australia, and they would have known the story couldn't be true. You simply can't have...

My guest today is Andrew Kolvet, who was Kirk’s close confidant. Since the assassination, he’s taken on many of Kirk’s responsibilities, including hosting “The Charlie Kirk Show.” Andrew Kolvet: …“Now, Charlie’s mission was to say: Hey, before us are two roads. You can either go grievance politics, socialism, free stuff populism, Mangione-ism, Mamdani-ism, or you can go MAGA.“ …“I think this is the through line for Israel — is you do not have to support Israel to belong to the team, at least in a traditional historical sense…I’m an American. I’m born in this country. My kids are going to...

VIDEOIt's on! The European Union vs Elon Musk. The battle began when the EU demanded that X (forever to be known as Twitter) bow down to its censorship regime by paying a 120 million Euro fine. However, the EU may have bit off more than it can chew because it is also trying to extend its censorship to TikTok and Apple and they are also refusing to comply. How will this war end? Will the EU be able to impose its censorship on the rest of the world? Stay tuned!

US District Judges James Boasberg and Deborah Boardman have both turned down invitations to testify before the Senate Judiciary Committee. Both invoked their Fifth Amendment right against self-incrimination. "Look," Boasberg said. "The title of the hearing session is 'Impeachment: Holding Rogue Judges Accountable.' We don't want to be held accountable. We're both members of a separate but equal branch of the government. Congress can't force us to be accountable to them." Senate Committee on the Judiciary Chairman Chuck Grassly (R-Iowa) pointed out that "both of these judges have exercised powers that they do not have to thwart federal law and...

So far in 2025, the state of New York has released nearly 7,000 illegal migrant criminals from its jails and prisons and set them loose on society. For every one of them ICE had filed active detainers with state authorities. The crimes for which these criminals were incarcerated included attempted murder, thousands of assaults, and hundreds of burglaries, robberies, drug offenses, weapons offenses and sexual predatory offenses. Currently, 7,113 illegal migrants with active ICE detainers are currently being held New York's prisons and jails. The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) is demanding they be turned over to them for deportation...

Sen. Tammy Duckworth (D-Ill) railed against the Department of Transportation (DOT) proposal to give $10,000 bonuses to only the air traffic controllers and FAA technicians who worked everyday without pay during the government shutdown. Department of Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem has announced a similar bonus for TSA screeners who worked all of their assigned shifts during the government shutdown. "It's not fair to the thousands of other government employees who for one reason or another opted not to work without pay," Duckworth complained. "The problem with these selective bonuses is that it weakens the solidarity that labor unions need...

Michael Dell, founder and CEO of Dell Technologies, and his wife Susan are donating $6.25 billion to fund investment accounts for 25 million American children. "It's designed to help families feel supported from the start and encourage them to keep saving and investing as their children grow," Michael said. "We know that when children have accounts like this, they're much more likely to graduate from high school, from college, buy a home, start a business and less likely to be incarcerated." Their donation will be coordinated with a new federal government program that allows parents to open tax-advantaged investment accounts...

VIDEOIs Dasha Burns of Politico planning on doing what many non-narrative journalists have already done and go independent? The question has to be asked because during her newly released interview with President Donald Trump she AGREED with him on immigration, specifically on the stark contrast between Trump shutting down the border versus Third World immigrants that continue to flood Europe. It was so surprising to hear her agreeing with Trump on this that upon first hearing this I thought it was due to a wax buildup in my ears that I have an upcoming clinic appointment to get flushed out.How...

VATICAN CITY — Catholics and Protestants around the world expressed concern this week, as Pope Leo XVI gave his recommendation that Christians pray the rosary while facing in the direction of Mecca. The pontiff made the proclamation after visiting Turkey and Lebanon, stating that not only should the West be less fearful of the spread of Islam, but all Christians should seek to live more peaceably by facing toward the holiest of Islamic sites when they pray the rosary. "This is an important step toward helping the Muslims conquer us all," Pope Leo said. "I do not think that Christians...
