  • HuffPo Editor: With The Democrats In Ruins, You Have To Ask Whether Obama Was Good For The Party

Even The Huffington Post cannot let the down-ballot gutting of the Democrats go unnoticed. Senior politics editor Sam Stein was on MSNBC’s Morning Joe Wednesday, where he said that while Obama was re-elected twice proving himself to be an excellent candidate—his party has suffered catastrophic losses during his presidency. In all, the Democrats have lost 1,030 seats at the state and federal level, a wipeout of at least a generation of Democratic talent. Stein added that with such a political butcher’s bill, you have to ask whether this man was good for Democrats (via The Hill):

Tyler Durden Dercember 28,2016 In yet another "exit interview" earlier this week with David Axelrod, Obama took the opportunity to remind us once again just how awesome he is. In doing so, he noted that he was "confident" he could have beaten Trump in 2016 and implied that Hillary lost, not because of his failures in the White House, but because she was lazy, complacent, boring and arrogant...although his word choice was way less direct and more on the passive aggressive side. Apparently these passive aggressive attacks didn't sit well with the Huffington Post's senior political editor, Sam Stein, who...

The courts could legally “install” Hillary Clinton as president instead of Donald Trump, because of Russia’s alleged interference in the election, The Huffington Post asserted in a story Friday. Seizing on a breaking report that the CIA has concluded Russia worked covertly to help Trump win the election, Alex Mojaher writes in HuffPo the findings could be enough for a federal court to “invalidate” Trump’s win. “Russian Interference Could Give Courts Legal Authority To Install Clinton,” the headline reads.

Following news that vocally pro-Hillary Clinton Spanish language media conglomerate Univision, which had a Q3 loss of $30 million after revenues dropped 8% to $735 million, would lay off between 200 and 250 workers, in part driven by the media organization's recent acquisition of insolvent Gawker Media, on Thursday ReCode reported that the media bloodbath continues, with another 500 workers, or 5% of the total staff, set to be let go by AOL. AOL CEO Tim Armstrong said that most of the cuts will come in its corporate units, while resources will be shifted more at mobile, video and...

Left-wing news media, from desiccated dowagers like the New York Times to strumpets like Salon and the Huffington Post, are dead and don't know it. They only see what they want to see. People who recently thought themselves so powerful – Barack Obama, Hillary Clinton, Harry Reid, Nancy Pelosi; the list is very, very long – are walking around like regular people, but their existence is over. So many are dead and don't know it. They were murdered by their own hypocrisy. They claimed to be publishing the truth, but they offered only the half-truth of blind dogma. They claimed...

On Thursday, Democratic Party officials held their first staff meeting since Hillary Clinton’s stunning loss to Donald Trump in the presidential race. It didn’t go well. Donna Brazile, the interim leader of the Democratic National Committee, was giving what one attendee described as “a rip-roaring speech” to about 150 employees, about the need to have hope for wins going forward, when a staffer identified only as Zach stood up with a question. “Why should we trust you as chair to lead us through this?” he asked, according to two people in the room. “You backed a flawed candidate, and your...

The front page of the left-leaning Huffington Post didn’t shy away from what its publishers thought about Tuesday’s election. Stark, bold letters emblazoned on HuffPo's homepage screamed, “Mourning in America: NIGHTMARE: Prez Trump... America Elected A Man Who Said ‘Grab Them By The Pu**y’ Over The First Female President... Party Ends In Tears...” Poor HuffPo seemed downright stunned that any voter would choose Trump over Clinton and her “history-making story arc.” HuffPo was just one of a slew of liberal media outlets losing their minds over Republican presidential nominee – and now President-elect—Donald Trump’s victory over Democratic rival Hillary Clinton...

It’s not the first time the Huffington Post was caught colluding with Hillary’s campaign to help her campaign. Former Huffington Post writer, David Seaman fears for his life, as he explains how he was shut out from the HP website, as he was writing about concerns over Hillary’s poor health. In August 2016, David Seamon claims that the Huffington Post abruptly disabled his password and deleted two articles that he authored about Hillary Clinton’s health. In a YouTube video posted late last night with the stated purpose of documenting the situation (embedded below), David Seaman insists that he successfully published...

The Huffington Post is no longer buying the idea that Hillary Clinton will coast to victory in November — and it has already made a list of “where Democrats will point the finger if she loses” to Donald Trump. And it’s not from volunteer contributors; the byline includes Global Editorial Director Howard Fineman and editors Jason Linkins and Lauren Weber. From the Huffington Post: On the high, crenelated ramparts of Castle Clinton, a chill breeze is stirring ― a faint but gnawing sense that the White Walkers are coming, wearing “MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN” baseball caps on their skinless noggins....

Hillary Clinton’s prospects for a landslide victory have slid. Democrats’ attempts to take back the House remain a steeply uphill battle. And Americans are still worried about the threat of terrorism. This is HuffPollster for Friday, September 9, 2016. FLORIDA, OHIO, NORTH CAROLINA REMAIN CLOSE CONTESTS - National polls have shown Hillary Clinton’s lead over Donald Trump eroding slightly in the first week of September, and now it looks like a trio of crucial swing states might be following suit. Florida - A Quinnipiac poll released Thursday found Clinton and Trump tied at 47-47 in a two-way race, and 43-43 in...

Full Title HuffPo’s Stein: Clinton Foundation ‘Definitely’ Needs To Be Shut Down, It Did Influence Foreign Policy Because Donors Got Access On Wednesday’s broadcast of MSNBC’s “Morning Joe,” Huffington Post Senior Politics Editor Sam Stein stated that the Clinton Foundation “definitely” needs to be shut down or transferred to another foundation because there’s too much “ethical murkiness” and that the foundation did influence US foreign policy because donors to it gained access. Stein said, “[T]hey definitely need to shut this thing down or transfer it to the — to some other foundation. … I mean, can you imagine, the people...

On Tuesday, August 9, there’s a primary for the seat held by Paul Ryan, the House Speaker. It’s in the news — Ryan is being challenged in the Republican primary by a hitherto little-known businessman, Paul Nehlen. There’s also a contested primary on the Democratic side. On Tuesday, Donald Trump pointedly refused to endorse Ryan, which doesn’t necessarily reflect any Ryan weakness in the district (more like Trump and Ryan’s irreconcilable differences.) But Ryan was vulnerable before, and he’s more vulnerable now. That’s where Wisconsin Democrats come in: Wisconsin’s open primary tradition means you can vote in Ryan’s primary —...

The Huffington Post, founded in 2005, is one of the most popular Internet news sites, with an Alexa global traffic rank of 158 (mid-way between the WaPo and the NYT). Although it is probably the best source for real time election returns on the Internet , it has also earned a reputation as the most openly hostile and biased (major) news website reporting on Trump. It was one of the first news organizations to be banned from Trump events and routinely compares Trump to Hitler in its news stories. In comparison, the more balanced NYT and WaPo use editorials and...

His reversal was so rapid that I'm surprised he didn't suffer whiplash. I am referring to the rapid U-turn that Senator Tim Kaine, tapped today to be Hillary Clinton's running mate, made on the Trans Pacific Partnership. Until the moment he was picked by Hillary, Kaine was strongly for the TPP. And then today he suddenly saw the light and, hallelujah, he now proclaims to "oppose" the TPP. I put "oppose" in quotes because he now opposes it as much as Hillary pretends to oppose it. However, Huffington Post reporter Michael McAuliff relayed Kaine's new found TPP opposition without the slightest...

A Huffington Post article slamming U.S. Attorney Carmen M. Ortiz for prosecuting “the good guys” has raised questions over whether Mayor Martin J. Walsh is waging a PR counteroffensive against the feds after they indicted two top City Hall aides on extortion charges. Walsh’s chief of staff, Daniel A. Koh, formerly served as chief of staff to Huffington Post Editor Arianna Huffington and as general manager of Huffington Post Live before joining the mayor’s inner circle. Walsh told the Herald last night that he and his staff had no involvement in yesterday’s Huffington Post story titled, “This Federal Prosecutor Is...

The activists, including Naomi Oreskes and Bill McKibben, recently coordinated with attorneys general (AG) culminating with a March 29 press conference, led by New York AG Eric Schneiderman and joined by former Vice President Al Gore. There the “unprecedented coalition”—as Schneiderman’s press release called it—was announced: the newly formed AGs for Clean Power. Though “vague” on their specific plans, 17 AGs (16 Democrats and 1 Independent) have, as the Huffington Post reported: “committed to pursuing an all-levers approach” to, as Gore said: “hold to account those commercial interests that have been, according to the best available evidence, deceiving the American...
