The Republicans are once again investigating how al Qaeda won a major victory by destroying the American consulate in Benghazi, Libya, and killing American Ambassador Chris Stevens. Hopefully, this time they will abandon conspiracy theories and consider the possibility that American stupidity allowed the massacre to occur.

The operator of a political website that parodies the presidential hopes of Hillary Clinton has just gotten a lesson in realpolitik and what happens when someone crosses the Clintons. Marinka Peschmann, a freelance journalist and author, has been marketing a number of different buttons and bumper stickers for the “Hillary 2016: Prison or POTUS” campaign on the website Zazzle.com. One of those caught the eye of Clinton-campaign lawyers and is now no longer available.

According to the Washington Post, Hillary Clinton told a group of her fundraisers that she will have a litmus test for her nominees to the Supreme Court (if she should win the presidency): they will have to agree with her that the 2010 Citizens United ruling must be overturned. Â In that ruling the Supreme Court held that corporations have First Amendment rights to engage in political speech and to spend money on such speech. Â In making her pledge, Mrs. Clinton follows Bernie Sanders, who is also running for president. If Republican critics of Mrs. Clinton wanted to be demagogues about it,...

Drudge really outdid himself the other day. He and his chief aggregator very effectively nailed America’s crisis in angst with their one page headline parse of the news. Just looking at America’s first couple, we see our First Lady giving her husband the SIDE EYE for which she now is famous among female pundits. Gotta love giving men the side eye. Hey, I’ve done it more than a few times when I didn’t feel very comfortable with what he was saying or doing. When we have Drudge showing Obama opening up on his fellow lib/Dems with friendly fire, we next...

Mitt Romney and Evander Holyfield had a charity boxing match last night:-snip- Holyfield was declared the victor, but perhaps only because Romney saved his best jabs for Hillary Clinton, Harry Reid and Candy Crowley.-snip-Mitt Romney with the joke about wanting his fight against @holyfield to be "as clean as Hillary Clinton's server"-snip-Romney after Holyfield fight: "I'm ready to take on Harry Reid's exercise equipment now.-snip-Romney, with some bite post-fight: "I'm happy to fight anybody so long as Candy Crowley isn't the referee."-snip- Mitt Romney, winner by TKO.

As Guy wrote, Hillary is vulnerable, and her pathway to citizenship proposal is in the vein of Obama's unpopular and unconstitutional actions on immigration–but on steroids. Yet, in 2003, then-Sen. Hillary Clinton sounded very much like a Republican on immigration, saying she was “adamantly against illegal immigrants.” Five years later, in her failed 2008 run for president, she backed a pathway to citizenship for illegal immigrants. And now, she’s reiterating that position for her 2016 campaign.

Michelle Obama for president? What if she ran against the seemingly impregnable Hillary Clinton? A new Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey finds that just 14% of Likely U.S. Voters think the first lady should run for president. Seventy-one percent (71%) disagree, but another 15% are not sure. (To see survey question wording, click here.) Among black voters, however, 40% think Obama should run, and only 41% disagree. One-in-five (18%) is undecided. Seventy-eight percent (78%) of whites and 59% of other minority voters oppose a presidential bid by the first lady. In a hypothetical matchup with Hillary Clinton, the putative Democratic...

Ah. It looks like Bill Clinton is in da house: 'Bill Clinton hopes to be Hillary Clinton’s First Man in the White House, but there’s a big ‘if” … if she invites him to live at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue. ”If she wins the election, the chances are 100 percent that I’ll move back,” the former president told David Letterman Tuesday night on “The Late Show.” ”By the way, if I’m asked!” he added with a smile.' Ha-ha! Cracking jokes about cheating on your wife (because that’s what this all refers to of course): hilarious! Oh man, I can’t stop laughing....

Clinton Global Initiative archives lists ABC's Stephanopoulos as a “notable member” 2010-11. Breitbart News contacted The Clinton Foundation about Stephanopoulos’ membership, but the organization did not offer a response in time to be included in this story. A FAQ explaining CGI membership states: “Participation is by invitation only, limited to a select and diverse group of heads of state, CEOs, media voices, philanthropists and foundation heads, religious leaders, original thinkers, and those who run highly effective non-profit organizations.” Membership usually costs $20,000 per year; however, the FAQ indicates that some complimentary memberships are available. ABC News told Breitbart Stephanopoulos did...

The 2016 presidential election is attracting an unusually large number of hopefuls. The Republicans will probably field more than a dozen candidates and the Democrats, as many as five. Presently, very few of these supposed contenders have a real chance of becoming president. Republicans Ben Carson, Carly Fiorina and Ted Cruz are long shots. On the Democratic side, that term applies to everyone but Hillary Rodham Clinton.. ~snip~ If you tell them in private, "You do not have a chance to be president," they will point to underdogs who won, such as Jimmy Carter or Ronald Reagan, or front-runners who...

That the standards of transparency are seemingly higher for an NFL Super Bowl quarterback than for a former Secretary of State and presidential wannabe does not bode well for our republic nor speak well of the state of the so-called mainstream media. But the double standards regarding media treatment of Tom Brady versus Hillary Clinton are many and troubling. We should all be asking ourselves just why there is more concern and angst over Tom Brady’s use of slightly deflated footballs to get a better grip and improve his chances of winning a football game than regarding Hillary Clinton’s use...

OCTOBER 17, 2009 Rajaratnam Surfaced in U.S. Terrorism Probe By EVAN PEREZ and MATTHEW ROSENBERG WASHINGTON—The hedge-fund billionaire charged as part of a vast insider-trading case surfaced in an earlier, separate probe into U.S. fundraising by a Sri Lankan terrorist group, people familiar with the probe said. As part of that investigation, federal agents said they uncovered documents showing that Raj Rajaratnam, founder of the Galleon Group, was among several wealthy Sri Lankans in the U.S. whose donations to a Maryland-based charity made their way to the Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam, according to people familiar with the probe. Raj...

Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, Iran’s Supreme Leader, addressed a gathering of Iranian teachers on May 6 who repeatedly responded to his address by chanting in unison: “Allah is great! Khamene’i is the leader! Death to the enemies of the leadership! Death to America! Death to England! Death to the hypocrites! Death to Israel!” According to an English-language transcript of the speech published by the BBC, the Iranian teachers interrupted the ayatollah with chants calling for death to America, England and Israel at three points in his speech. “We say that teachers carry out the task of the prophets; this is the...

A number of foreign donors pledged new support for Clinton Foundation efforts during a conference in Marrakech last week, raising questions about the strength of Hillary Clinton's campaign promise to cut off foreign donations to her family philanthropy while she runs for president. The Kingdom of Morocco was among the foreign entities that committed to new projects at the Clinton Global Initiative event, which drew dozens of big-ticket donors to the country for a three-day meeting headlined by Bill Clinton. Hillary was slated to attend the Marrakech conference before her name was quietly removed from the schedule earlier this year...

WASHINGTON (MarketWatch) — Hillary Clinton’s presidential campaign is getting more firepower to help with damage control. Politico writes Correct the Record, an outside rapid response and research group dedicated to defending the records of Clinton and other Democratic presidential candidates, is reorganizing so it can coordinate with the former secretary of state’s campaign and devote all its resources to her. Correct the Record is splitting off from its parent organization American Bridge 21st Century, and will register with the Federal Election Commission as a stand-alone super PAC.

This weekend, a dozen Republican presidential hopefuls showed up at the South Carolina Freedom Summit. They were there to court primary voters who will winnow the presidential field next February. Judging from the speeches, it’s going to be an ugly race. What the candidates are selling, and primary voters are buying, is vituperation against people who don’t look, talk, or pray like the Republican base.............. [SNIP of stuff that sounds good to me - Santorum was on fire] ...............Mexicans, Muslims, gays, rats, roaches. Christian superiority, military contempt for the president, and gauntlets thrown down to queer-loving CEOs. It’s going to...

Welcome to day 29 of the Hillary Clinton 2016 presidential campaign! In those 29 days -- including April 12, the day she announced, and today -- Clinton has taken a total of eight questions from the press. That breaks out to roughly one question every 3.6 days. Of late, she's taken even fewer questions than that.

"......When Mr. [Tony] Rodham was short on cash in 2010, Mr. Clinton helped get him a job for $72,000 a year raising investments in GreenTech Automotive, an electric car company then owned by Terry McAuliffe, an old friend of Mr. Clinton’s and now the governor of Virginia. “I was complaining to my brother-in-law I didn’t have any money. And he asked McAuliffe to give me a job,” Mr. Rodham said during the court proceedings, which were the result of a lawsuit over unpaid legal bills filed by his lawyer in a child support case. A brother down on his luck...

The Clinton Global Initiative meeting was hosted by the Moroccan King; oligarchs and corporate titans mingled amid palm trees, swimming pools and dazzling tiled courtyards. Clinton's mega-rich traveling delegation are big buck foundation donors — and donors to Hillary’s campaign. They were chauffeured to an opulent 56-room palace overlooking the snow-capped Atlas Mountains and served a fine-dining menu of “biolight” cuisine. Chelsea Clinton moderated a discussion on "women’s empowerment" w/ the only male panelist: Morocco billionaire, Othman Benjelloun, whose BMCE Bank is a million dollar meeting sponsor. The Moroccan lavishness was a long way from Hillary’s campaign-trail visits to a...

Hillary Clinton is moving so quickly to the left that it’s hard to keep up. Her aides are telling the New York Times she wants to “topple” the One Percent, she’s pledging solidarity with union bosses over lunch meetings at Mario Batali restaurants in Midtown, she supports a constitutional amendment to suppress political speech, she’s down with a right to same-sex marriage, she’s ambivalent over the Keystone Pipeline and the Trans-Pacific Partnership, she’s calling for an end to the “era of mass incarceration,” she wants to go “further” than President Obama’s illegal executive amnesty. It’s called pandering, but the press...
