Here's an absolutely wild story out of the state of Alabama. In 1997, a headless body was discovered in the woods of Marshall County, Alabama along the Little Cotaco Creek near Union Springs. The headless man appeared to have been decapitated with a saw, as well as having his hands and feet removed as well, making him impossible to identify at the time. In addition, the man's heart and spleen were also removed with "surgical precision" according to authorities. Oklahoma Woman's Body, Head Found in Home Published: February 15, 2011 TULSA (AP) — Tulsa police say they don't suspect foul play in the death of a woman whose headless body was found in a home. TULSA, Oklahoma -- A Tulsa woman's headless body was found inside her home and police believe she may have died in late December or early January. Tulsa Police made the discovery Monday morning in the 5300 block of East 21st Street while checking on the well-being of the 55-year-old woman who had not been seen since Christmas Day. Police say there were several dogs still inside the home and Tulsa Animal Control was called in to remove them. Officers found evidence the dogs had eaten parts of the body. Orchard Park police are investigating a particularly gruesome killing, the beheading of a woman, after her husband -- an influential member of the local Muslim community -- reported her death to police Thursday.
