Marietta - A drunken driver who veered off the road and decapitated a friend who had leaned his head out the window was sentenced to five years in prison Wednesday.
John Kemper Hutcherson, 21, pleaded guilty to vehicular homicide in the death last August of 23-year-old Frankie Brohm, whose head was severed when the car grazed a telephone pole support wire.
The two men were on their way home from a bar after a night of drinking . . .

Yeah, didn't he continue driving, park in his driveway, go to sleep and wake up the next morning to police sirens because someone found his friend's body in the car outside? I seem to recall hearing that.

As I remember the story, the driver was so drunk he didn't know what happened. He didn't realize what had happened until he got up later to use the head.

Neal Boorz mentioned this story on his radio show, because it was a local story. One of Frankie's friends called Neal Boortz' radio show, and said he had been a big fan of Neal Boortz.
