A new study suggests that the malaria drug hydroxychloroquine inhibits pathways that drive resistance to the chemotherapy agent cisplatin in head and neck cancers and restores tumor-killing effects of cisplatin in animal models. The findings pave the way for a clinical trial that combines cisplatin and hydroxychloroquine to treat chemotherapy-resistant head and neck cancers. "When caring for patients with head and neck cancers, I often see chemotherapy fail. Cisplatin is a very important chemotherapy drug, but tumor resistance to cisplatin is a huge problem," said co-senior author Umamaheswar Duvvuri, M.D., Ph.D. "My lab is interested in understanding the mechanisms of...

Dr. Andrew Hill, tasked with studying the cheap, widely available drug, undermined his own findings.. LIVERPOOL, England — Providence will occasionally place a man at a key juncture of history, a position of great moment where the fate of millions lies in his hands. Andrew Hill, M.D., was just such a man, in just such a position. In October 2020 he was asked by the WHO to review the rapidly accumulating evidence that Ivermectin was a safe and effective treatment for COVID. To say there was a lot riding on Hill’s findings was an understatement. If it turned out that...

Physicians have ‘especially broad discretion’ decision to prescribe ivermectin or hydroxychloroquine for COVID-19, state Attorney General Alan Wilson affirmed. COLUMBIA, South Carolina (LifeSiteNews) – South Carolina Attorney General Alan Wilson joined a growing number of state officials affirming that doctors have broad authority to prescribe ivermectin and other “off-label” treatments for COVID-19.In an opinion earlier this month, Wilson said that South Carolina law does not prohibit medical professionals from treating COVID with drugs, such as ivermectin or hydroxychloroquine, that have been approved for other uses.“It is clear that an attending physician possesses especially broad discretion to prescribe what he or...

To date this doctor has treated 3,000 patients with COVID-19 symptoms, with only three high-risk patients dying. Many doctors around the world started using the anti-malaria drug hydroxychloroquine (HCQ) early on in the COVID-19 pandemic. Among them is Dr. Vladimir Zelenko, a practicing physician in a Jewish community in Monroe, New York. He garnered national attention in March 2020 when he told radio host Sean Hannity that he’d had a near-100% success rate treating COVID-19 patients with HCQ, azithromycin and zinc sulfate for five days. “I’ve seen remarkable results; it really prevents progression of disease, and patients get better,” he...

TOKYO, Jan 31 (Reuters) - Japanese trading and pharmaceutical company Kowa Co Ltd said on Monday anti-parasite drug ivermectin showed an “antiviral effect” against Omicron and other variants of coronavirus in joint non-clinical research. Kowa did not provide further details. The firm has been working with Kitasato University, a medical university in Tokyo. Clinical trials evaluating the drug, which is used to treat parasites in animals and humans, are ongoing but promotion of the drug as a COVID-19 treatment has generated controversy here. The drug is not approved for treatment of COVID-19 in Japan and the U.S. Federal Drug Administration...

Republicans in states across the country are pushing bills that would prohibit medical boards from disciplining doctors who promote, prescribe, and distribute unfounded COVID treatments that the Federal Drug Administration has said are ineffective and, in some cases, dangerous. At least 11 state legislatures have introduced bills that limit medical licensing boards from taking action against professionals who prescribe hydroxychloroquine and ivermectin. In North Dakota and Tennessee, it’s already the law. Abortion care aside, state legislatures have typically let the medical profession govern itself, leaving licenses to medical boards and professional organizations. But the promotion of unapproved COVID treatments and...

Two rheumatoid arthritis drugs show potential for lowering the risk of Parkinson's disease, new research shows. Some previous studies have found that people with rheumatoid arthritis have a lower risk of Parkinson's, and it was suggested that a class of rheumatoid arthritis drugs called disease-modifying antirheumatic drugs (DMARDs) may play a role in that reduced risk. To learn more, researchers analyzed data from thousands of patients in Finland. The use of most DMARDs—including methotrexate, sulfasalazine, gold preparations or immunosuppressants—at least three years before Parkinson's disease diagnosis was not associated with the risk of the disease in those with rheumatoid arthritis,...

Method for preparing quinine, the active ingredient in HCQ. Take with zinc. For reference, other videos I've watched recommend drinking about 1/2 C tonic water (which contains quinine) once a day with 50 mg zinc. Evidently this form of quinine is better than tonic water.

Abstract BackgroundCOVID-19 is a global pandemic. Treatment with hydroxychloroquine (HCQ), zinc, and azithromycin (AZM), also known as the Zelenko protocol, and treatment with intravenous (IV) vitamin C (IVC) have shown encouraging results in a large number of trials worldwide. In addition, vitamin D levels are an important indicator of the severity of symptoms in patients with COVID-19. ObjectivesOur multicenter, randomized, open-label study aimed to assess the effectiveness of HCQ, AZM, and zinc with or without IVC in hospitalized patients with COVID-19 in reducing symptom severity and duration and preventing death. MethodsHospitalized patients with COVID-19 in seven participating hospitals in Turkey...

A University of Calgary study has found promising results for the generic drug hydroxychloroquine when used to treat the evolution of disability of primary progressive multiple sclerosis (MS), the least treatable form of the autoimmune disease. MS affects about 90,000 Canadians with about 15 percent of those diagnosed with primary progressive MS, one of the highest rates in the world. Research teams led by Dr. Marcus Koch, MD. found hydroxychloroquine helped to slow the worsening of disability during the 18-month study. "With primary progressive MS, there is no good treatment to stop or reverse the progression of disease. The disability...

There have now been 67 Ivermectin COVID-19 controlled studies that show a 67% improvement in COVID patients. There have been 298 Hydroxychloroquine studies that show a 64% improvement in patients for COVID-19 patients.Despite the science, Dr. Fauci and the medical elites have blocked the use of these effective treatments for coronavirus patients.Dr. Robert Malone, the inventor of the mRNA vaccines, accused Dr. Fauci and others of lying and causing the death of over 500,000 Americans by preventing HCQ and Ivermectin, and other treatments from COVID-19 patients.Dr. Malone is right. It is well documented that Dr. Fauci and top US doctors conspired...

The Gateway Pundit previously reported that Customs and Border officials captured two small packages of Ivermectin and hydroxychloroquine at Chicago’s O’Hare Airport recently. The two drugs would not have raised an eyebrow before the COVID pandemic. But since the Democrats and media politicized the completely safe, inexpensive, and effective medications the Customs agents are on the lookout for these cheap drugs. Meanwhile, Mexican cartels continue to smuggle record amounts of fentanyl into the country this year. Now, a Gateway Pundit reader has received a letter from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) regarding a shipment containing Ivermectin that she...

Last week, the World Tribune published an article revealing information that indicates the WHO likely knew ivermectin was effective for months, but blocked its use, all for Big Pharma. Dr. Andrew Hill, a senior visiting research fellow in pharmacology at Liverpool University, adviser to the Gates Foundation, and researcher for the WHO, was tasked with conducting an ivermectin trial for the WHO. Based on his preliminary findings, Hill testified enthusiastically about the use of ivermectin before the NIH COVID-19 Treatment Guidelines Panel on Jan. 6, 2021. But then he suddenly changed course and published a study dinging the drug’s efficacy...

Don’t live in fear, don’t live in isolation, [and] don’t take the poison death shot,' Dr. Zelenko said. Dr. Vladamir Ze’ev Zelenko, who is credited with pioneering the early treatment protocol for COVID-19 involving hydroxychloroquine (HCQ) and zinc sulfate, recently became very candid with regards to the entire COVID-19 enterprise, the perilous situation the people of the world are facing, and his call for the “God-conscious” to resist rapidly advancing government and media tyranny. Candor is not a quality that Zelenko has lacked over the last 21 months since he wrote an open letter to President Donald Trump announcing his...

100% forced vax based on 0% reliable data We’re being hounded into forced vaccination on the basis of dodgy data, expensively ineffective mRNA drugs, obvious corruption, fake news about preferable management drugs and demographic jab extensions that fail every known and measured cost/benefit analysis. As voluntary “vaccination” stutters, it’s game on for Omicron the Omnipotent as the Trojan Totalitarian Horse gallops over the drawbridge. Austria has gone, Greece is going, the EU is ready and Macron has called a Conseil Constitutionelle in anticipation. The Slog asks what the Resistance can do now. I was reading through a monthly summary of prescription drug benefits of a family member. And I saw this notation in section 4 regarding updates to the plan’s drug list. It says that beginning November 1, 2021 “prior authorization“ will be required for ivermectin. And that the insured or their doctor will need to get approval from the plan before they will agree to cover the drug for that insured individual. Now, I am not sure how difficult they will make it to get the preapproval, but this certainly smacks of more corporate practice of medicine, And more layers of...

Marshall: So more COVID vaccines have now been distributed in such a short period of time, to such a generalized population, than any time in our history. And yet there's still substantial concern and a substantial amount of information that people are questioning. And perhaps for those who are reluctant to get the vaccine, concern about safety. So the FDA and CDC have a reporting system where some of these events are reported either by themselves or by their doctors. So, what are we seeing from that reporting system? Marks: Well, I think what we're seeing is robust reporting of...

The American Medical Association (AMA) wants people to die from the Wuhan coronavirus (Covid-19). The reason we can safely say this is that the trade group is working overtime to restrict Americans’ access to hydroxychloroquine (HCQ) and ivermectin, two safe, effective and inexpensive early treatment remedies for the Chinese Virus. Instead of recognizing that each individual has the God-given right to choose what goes into his body, the AMA is taking a position of medical fascism that does not even recognize the right of doctors to prescribe whatever medications they see fit for their patients. In 1996, ivermectin was approved...
