Tuesday on Sean Hannity’s nationally syndicated radio show, author and University of the Arts professor of humanities and media studies Camille Paglia railed against the current state of journalism in America. Paglia called what she said the Democratic Party had done to journalism “absolutely grotesque” and warned it would take decades to recover. “It’s obscene,” she said. “It’s outrageous, OK? It shows that the Democrats are nothing now but words and fantasy and hallucination and Hollywood. There’s no journalism left. What’s happened to The New York Times? What’s happened to the major networks? It’s an outrage.” “I’m a professor of...

Continuing evidence continues to mount that James Comey is carefully playing an orchestrated scheme leading to counter-positioning he has constructed, and useful idiots are playing along without noticing who is baiting them. This is so typically Comey. The latest evidence surfaces as Sara Carter writes an article, based on a leak of a discussion Comey had with lawmakers in the closed intelligence committee session last Thursday. However, what Carter and later Sean Hannity actually end up doing, under the auspices of catching Loretta Lynch in something sketchy, is restoring the dignity, honor and moral certitude of former FBI Director James...

Monday on Fox News Channel’s “Hannity,” during his “Opening Monologue” segment, host Sean Hannity on two occasions called for the special counsel probe headed by former FBI Director Robert Mueller to be shut down. First, Hannity called into question the relationship between former FBI Director James Comey, who Hannity suggested was biased against Trump, and Mueller, which he described as a conflict of interest. “[J]ames Comey’s relationship with the special counsel Robert Mueller is a massive conflict of interest,” he said. “It’s why it is time to shut down this political witch hunt that is really aimed at stopping the...

The Fake News-inspired perception that existential problems are enveloping the Trump Administration is expanding and deepening. As this questionable meme takes hold, it appears that the current toxic political climate is drawing more anti-Trump viewers to the partisan attack “resistance†programs that are playing out nightly on two of the three cable television news channels. Meanwhile, the new ratings war among the three 24/7 cable news outlets is settling into an ongoing war of attrition. In recent weeks, the Fox News Channel (FNC), considered the most friendly to President Trump, has lost the commanding ratings lead that it held...

With the firing, then death, of Roger Ailes, the departure of Bill O’Reilly, and the swirling rumors about Sean Hannity either leaving or being fired at Fox News, many conservatives flippantly insist that any one (or combination) of these and other conservative entertainers/news people could “start their own network.” It’s certainly possible that the right combination of entertainers and capitalists could buy an existing structure and form it into a network—itself a mammoth undertaking, but not impossible—but start one from scratch? It’s worth the time to recall how Fox News got to where it is today. In 1986 20th Century...

Tuesday on Fox News Channel’s “Hannity,” host Sean Hannity used his opening monologue to address what he called “a well-funded, well-orchestrated campaign” against him and his show that included targeting his advertisers. Hannity was criticized over the past few weeks for his willingness to discuss former DNC staffer Seth Rich’s murder, an individual who some have claimed was the source of emails leaked to Wikileaks last year? [Please go to the Breitbart article and read the transcript of his monologue.] .

Enough is enough. Five years ago, this space featured two back-to-back columns titled “Rally for Rush” and “The Plot to Get Rush.” The focus was a serious attempt by the far-left, race-card playing site Media Matters to force Rush Limbaugh from the airwaves by pressuring his sponsors to cease their connection with the show. The attack on Rush (over the Sandra Fluke incident) would fail — and it failed for one big reason. That would be Rush’s audience, which did in fact rally for Rush by directly contacting the handful of withdrawing sponsors to let them know that as customers...

NEW YORK (AP) -- The USAA financial services firm is reinstating its advertising on Sean Hannity's Fox News Channel program after receiving heavy criticism for its initial decision from many of the military members and veterans that it serves.

Bill O'Reilly said on Tuesday that Fox News is unlikely to do away with host Sean Hannity, adding that the conservative network can't "handle another shake-up" after his own ouster. "It’s the same thing, the far left going after him, trying to get him off the air," O’Reilly told The Associated Press in an interview. "I think Hannity will survive because I don’t know if Fox can handle another shake-up like that." O'Reilly was fired from Fox News last month after a New York Times report revealed that the network had paid about $13 million in legal settlements to five...

After facing a huge backlash for pulling ads from Fox News’ Sean Hannity, USAA announced that they will also be pulling ads from liberal MSNBC host Rachel Maddow’s show. Earlier this week, TGP reported USAA, an insurance, bank and financial services company that caters to active duty military, veterans and their families, is getting slammed by members after announcing on Twitter Wednesday night the company was withdrawing advertising on the Sean Hannity show in response to pressure from liberal activists trying to silence Hannity by cutting off his advertising base. It was not stated by USAA if they advertised on...

Buzzfeed News’ activist campaign to intimidate Sean Hannity’s sponsors into dropping advertising on his show is sparking a counter-boycott of the companies that are dropping out. Buzzfeed News “reporter” Mary Georgantopoulos has announced that she is reaching out to Hannity’s advertisers in response to Hannity asking questions about murdered DNC staffer Seth Rich’s reported involvement in the Wikileaks release of DNC emails in 2016. Buzzfeed “reporter” Brianna Sacks is assisting in the effort. Julian Assange has strongly suggested that Rich was the Wikileaks source, which Assange friend Kim Dotcom stated outright. Fox News reported that a federal investigator with knowledge...

Fox News Channel lent support to its best-known anchor Sean Hannity, saying Thursday that the popular host would return to its air next week following a Memorial Day holiday vacation – an effort to tamp down speculation that a controversy currently enveloping Hannity could escalate further. “Like the rest of the country, Sean Hannity is taking a vacation for Memorial Day weekend and will be back on Tuesday,” the 21st Century Fox-owned network said in a statement. “Those who suggest otherwise are going to look foolish.”

Conservative Review Editor-in-Chief Mark Levin came to the defense of Fox News’ Sean Hannity Thursday, and advised his friend to seriously open himself up to the idea of taking legal action against Media Matters for America.

Amid ongoing turmoil at Fox News, an internal battle appears to be brewing between top executives and one of the last remaining vestiges of the lineup that made the network a powerhouse in cable news — Sean Hannity. Hannity has gone “underground” and is actively considering whether or not he will return to Fox News on Tuesday, a source close to Hannity told Independent Journal Review. It's a stunning development at the network, which has seemingly remained in a constant state of turmoil since the ouster of the late Roger Ailes. Speculation ran wild earlier this week when the network...

Media Research Center President Brent Bozell exposed USAA’s spokesmen as “terrible liars” for claiming they pulled their advertisements on “Hannity” because USAA doesn’t advertise on opinion shows – when, in fact, they advertise on far-left media. In a statement released Thursday, Bozell condemned USAA’s “obnoxious and shameful” hypocrisy, especially given that Sean Hannity, like USAA, serves and supports the U.S. military: “USAA is dishonest and their spokesmen are terrible liars. First they pander to the far-left by announcing they were pulling advertising from Sean Hannity's TV show, and when there is an uproar against them, they state on Twitter that...
