There’s a reason why Tom Hanks and Viola Davis drop by Stephen Colbert’s “Late Show” set. The stars are hawking a product, be it a new film or streaming series. It’s a mutually beneficial arrangement that’s worked for decades on late-night TV and elsewhere. The stars provide appealing guests who share stories for the viewers’ amusement. Those appearances, in turn, offer “free” promotion for their respective projects. Now, “Gutfeld!” is helping push product in a very big way. Fox News’ late-night alternative is at or near the top of the late-night ratings heap. Host Greg Gutfeld tells the jokes his...

Viewers who have grown tired of late-night comedy’s incessant left-wing bias made their feelings known last week by giving Fox News Channel’s Gutfeld! a strong debut, handily beating NBC’s Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon while nipping at the heels of ABC’s Jimmy Kimmel Live! Gutfeld!, which stars long-time The Five co-host Greg Gutfeld, drew an average of 1.57 million viewers in its first five episodes last week. The show easily beat the Tonight Show, which averaged 1.38 million viewers and HBO’s Real Time with Bill Maher, with 1.08 million. The show also outpaced Comedy Central’s The Daily Show with Trevor...

Watching 'The Five at Five' for the first time: First of all Bob Beckel is getting the crap beat out of him by the other members of his panel. But Greg Gutfield in particular has delivered a couple of zingers. Beckel said that there were more nudists than tea partiers and Greg said "maybe they should team up and become nude tea partiers to grow their base.' That shut Bob up in a second. It was really funny.
  • The ‘Hideous, Pathetic Tool’s’ at Wonkette…More Outrage Over Their Attack On Trig

Great video by Steven Crowder about the liberal attacks on Sarah Palin, specifically the recent Wonkette article attacking her son Trig. [VIDEO AT SITE] The video is good and he brings up some great points but his article is even better where he points out the hypocrisy in our media today, most especially comedians. Where they were once willing and able to make fun of our Presidents, not so much anymore with Obama: I’m still waiting for the days where other fellow comedians are willing to take this kind of bold approach to the current administration. I certainly would...

So last week's Census Data reported that there are 50.67 million uninsured Americans. That's statistically speaking, a "crapload." But economist Mark J. Perry is pretty good at dissembling such crap. I paraphrase: There were 10.6 million uninsured Americans in households making $75,000 per year or more, and they represent more than 1 out of every 5 uninsured. There were about 9.4 million Americans without health insurance ... making between $50,000 and $75,000, representing 18.5% of the uninsured. So nearly 40 percent of Americans without health insurance were living in households last year with $50,000 or more of household income. So,...

Right now, in the press, "rage" is all the rage. At the New York Times, Maureen Dowd and Frank Rich - who may be the same person since they both wear dresses - have columns on the rising tide of anger in McCain's campaign. Dowd is calling the whole thing "seamy," and whenever someone brings up Bill Ayers, Rich sees a "violent escalation" in rhetoric. He links addressing real issues to an increased risk of Obama's assassination – meaning if you think voter fraud is important, you probably also want to kill black people. True, a few nutbags in the...
  • Wesley Clark compared to a "Bug Infested Potato"

On Red-Eye just now Greg Gutfield did his Greg-A-Logue which was actually REALLY good. He compared the left to a crazy ex-girlfriend that Obama is now dumping. He said the left is cutting up Obama's underwear. He also said it's funny that if you're a liberal and want to get elected you have to fun from your beliefs. Then he said Obama was dropping Wesley Clark like a "Bug Infested Potato" Does Clark still work for Fox or did they drop him?
