Former “Sons of Guns” star Stephanie Hayden Ford made some horrific accusations against her father Will Hayden on a pre-taped episode of “Dr. Phil” that aired on Thursday. They were acting on orders from the Narcotics Enforcement Unit, who asked the shop to hand over a customer list so they could determine how many people had purchased New York SAFE Act compliant rifles. A man was shot and a 6-year-old child was injured in Miami’s Liberty City on Thursday night. The adult male, who was not identified, was shot in the leg and lower back. The child, also not identified, suffered a non-life threatening shrapnel wound, Miami police said.

The Pentagon has banned 145 law enforcement agencies from receiving surplus military weapons and supplies, part of a program under scrutiny after police in combat gear responded to protests in Ferguson, MO. In each case examined by the Cox Washington bureau, the departments were suspended after losing high-powered weapons.
