RUSH: Samantha Power has been unmasking Americans in the last year of the Obama Regime at the rate of one American every working day. Two-hundred-and-sixty different Americans unmasked by someone not even in the intelligence community. She was a U.N. ambassador. It would be the equivalent of Nikki Haley today unmasking a bunch of people that she thought not — Now, I don’t know that too many people know much about Samantha Power. Do you remember my in-depth explanation of the Washington establishment yesterday? She is it. She is a superiorist. She is a supremacist. She is a DNA socialist....

Everyone is against illegal immigration, Democratic politicians always insist as they push for liberal reforms -- just as they pretend that nobody is "pro-abortion." But hardcore elements of their left-wing base belie both of those claims, from the anti-borders zealots to the "shout your abortion" fanatics. What's somewhat unusual, though, is to watch a top party official let the mask slip in such a way that places him or her firmly on the wrong side of public opinion. The reason that DREAMers engender so much sympathy from the general public is that they were brought into the country through no...

The state-based movement to continue meeting the goals of the Paris Agreement on climate change following President Trump’s choice to withdraw is making headway. The U.S. Climate Alliance, as the group is called, said Wednesday that it is on track to meet and possibly surpass its portion of the Paris Agreement’s targets of a 24% to 29% reduction in greenhouse gas emission rates from 2005 levels by 2025. The Paris Agreement, which was adopted in 2015 by 195 countries, aims to reduce emissions in order to keep global warming below 2 degrees Celsius.

The special counsel investigating Russian interference in the election has asked the Trump Administration to hand over documents related to the president’s firing of his FBI director and national security adviser, a new report said Wednesday. Robert Mueller is also eyeballing an Oval Office sitdown Trump had with Russian officials in which he told them that canning top G-man James Comey took “great pressure” off of him, The New York Times reported.

WASHINGTON — Employees at the Environmental Protection Agency are attending mandatory training sessions this week to reinforce their compliance with laws and rules against leaking classified or sensitive government information. It is part of a broader Trump administration order for anti-leaks training at all executive branch agencies. The Associated Press obtained training materials from the hourlong class.

With little need for intelligence reports to do her job, former Obama United Nations ambassador Samantha Power had an abnormally ravenous appetite for spying, especially when it came to Americans. According to Fox News: Samantha Power, the former U.S. ambassador to the United Nations, was 'unmasking' at such a rapid pace in the final months of the Obama administration that she averaged more than one request for every working day in 2016 – and even sought information in the days leading up to President Trump’s inauguration, multiple sources close to the matter told Fox News. Two sources, who were not...

Rep. Maxine Waters (D-Calif.), who previously has called for the impeachment of Donald Trump, on Thursday told a Congressional Black Caucus Town Hall on Civil Rights that she expects other members of the black community to back her up: “Don't come here and tell me, ‘Maxine, you keep on doing what you do.’ But when you gonna give me some support?” she asked. “How many of you in your organizations have said, 'Impeach 45' ?” Waters urged the crowd not to get hung up on what law to invoke in the impeachment process: Impeachment is about whatever the Congress says...

Americans would be better off with government-paid healthcare, claims a Canadian doctor, but a fellow Canadian says the wait times may literally kill you. "I don't recommend it," Canadian health care broker Rick Baker says of Canada's "single payer" healthcare system, which is held up by liberals as a healthcare system for Americans to emulate. In a USA Today op-ed, hospital administrator Dr. Danielle Martin writes that the Canadian system outperforms the U.S. on quality and access to care despite "nasty rumors" in the U.S. media about the quality of care. She goes on to acknowledge that Canadians "sometimes wait...

Former Director of National Intelligence James Clapper appears on CNN last night to deny knowledge of the wiretapping of former Trump campaign chairman Paul Manafort. In March Clapper stated he would specifically have known if a FISA warrant was issued against any Trump campaign officials. Last night Clapper stated he held no knowledge of the FISA warrant. Clapper is walking through a legal minefield.

State regulators have approved the largest health insurance premium increase in the four-year history of New Mexico’s subsidized exchange, Superintendent of Insurance John Franchini said Wednesday. About 55,000 New Mexico residents sign up each year for federally subsidized insurance through the state’s exchange, known as beWellnm. Average premium increases for 2018 will range from 36 percent to 41 percent for midlevel insurance coverage, according to an analysis by the Office of the Superintendent of Insurance. The full range of premium increases runs from 17 percent to just over 49 percent. “This is the largest increase in the last four years,”...

New Mexico residents enrolled in Medicaid may have to cough up more money for their health care costs by the end of the year or early next year under a proposal that aims to offset state spending on the program. New Mexico’s Medicaid rolls have swollen since Gov. Susana Martinez expanded low- or no-cost health insurance in 2014 to cover adults with incomes slightly above the federal poverty level, up to about $16,600. As of July, more than 250,000 New Mexicans had enrolled in Medicaid under the program expansion. A single patient earning $12,060 a year could end up having...

For decades, in both America and Europe, the gay establishment – gay magazines, gay rights organizations, and self-designated gay leaders – have been dictating politics to the gay multitudes. Those politics have been consistently left-wing and Democratic. Not all gays have played follow-the-leader, but most have, so that in the 2016 U.S. presidential elections Hillary Clinton won a far larger percentage of the gay vote than Donald Trump. Even though Hillary had opposed same-sex marriage until 2013, had taken millions of dollars from governments that execute homosexuals, and was married to the man who signed the Defense of Marriage Act,...

Senator Charles Schumer has called on Congress to quickly pass the Harmful Algal Bloom and Hypoxia Research and Control Act, which he said would help combat the rise in toxic algae found in Long Island waterways. Left unchecked, said Mr. Schumer, these toxic blooms could contaminate Long Island’s drinking water and damage economies dependent on fishing and recreation. Starting in 2019, it would authorize $22 million per year for five years to help conduct research on harmful algal blooms and continue an interagency working group to advance the understanding of hypoxia, or low oxygen, and harmful algal blooms. The bill...

Liberals love to portray Republicans as the party of the rich and powerful. The GOP has tried, valiantly, to shed that criticism -- but then why are so many in the party defending the special interests of private- and corporate-jet owners over the interests of the rest of us? Do Warren Buffett and LeBron James really need taxpayer subsidies to jet across the country? At issue here is the proposed modernization of the operations and pricing of America's air traffic control system. President Donald Trump has proposed an air traffic control upgrade that would take the system out of the...

Former Sen. Jim DeMint (R-SC) announced on Thursday his endorsement of Judge Roy Moore in next week’s Alabama U.S. senate race, in another blow to the establishment-backed candidate Luther Strange’s campaign. In a press release, DeMint, who is a leading figure in the Tea Party movement, took aim at the “Kings of the Washington Swamp” opposing Moore’s candidacy. “The American people are tired of the lack of leadership on Capitol Hill. They want people who are willing to fight to save our country,” DeMint said. “Judge Moore has proven he has the courage and the commitment to stand up to...

WaPo: Swamp Worries That a Luther Strange Defeat ‘Could Prompt Some GOP Senators to Retire’ White House Chief of Staff John F. Kelly, who has tried to control what information Trump receives about the Alabama race, was initially wary of the president appearing with a senator who might lose. He preferred Trump spend his time on policy initiatives such as tax reform rather than rousing crowds at political rallies. Likewise, Bill Stepien, the White House political director, urged caution and at first recommended that Trump stay out of the state, administration officials said. Senate Republicans, however, were unwilling to let...

A Republican Senate aide told Independent Journal Review Thursday that Sens. Lindsey Graham (R-SC) and Bill Cassidy (R-La.) are attempting to buy Sen. Lisa Murkowski's support through new changes to their controversial Obamacare repeal proposal before an expected vote next week. According to the aide, here is a summary of what the new draft of the bill entails: "This draft includes 3 separate provisions benefitting Alaska. 1. Alaska (along with Hawaii) will continue to receive Obamacare’s premium tax credits while they are repealed for all other states. It appears this exemption will not affect Alaska receiving its state allotment under...

Wall Street’s top regulator faced questions on Thursday about its defenses against cyber criminals after admitting hackers breached its electronic database of corporate announcements and may have used it for insider trading. The incursion at the Securities and Exchange Commission struck at the heart of the U.S. financial system. The SEC’s EDGAR filing system is the central repository for market-moving information on corporate America with millions of filings ranging from quarterly earnings to statements on acquisitions. Accessing documents before they are released publicly would offer hackers a lucrative opportunity to trade on that information. The SEC has said it was...

The U.S. Department of Homeland Security detected five “critical” cyber security weaknesses on the Securities and Exchange Commission’s computers as of January 23, 2017, according to a confidential weekly report reviewed by Reuters. The report’s findings raise fresh questions about a 2016 cyber breach into the SEC’s corporate filing system known as “EDGAR.” SEC Chairman Jay Clayton disclosed late Wednesday night that the agency learned in August 2017 that hackers may have exploited the 2016 incident for illegal insider-trading.

"Here you have a president who I can tell you and guarantee you is in collusion with the Russians to undermine our democracy. Here you have a president that has obstructed justice. And here you have a president that lies every day," Waters said. The ranking Democrat on the House Financial Services Committee also said she plans to grill Housing and Urban Development Secretary Ben Carson when he comes before her committee in the coming weeks. . . "Look at Ben Carson. My God. My grandmother would call him an educated fool," Waters said.
