Ted Cruz knows that you are the best hope for saving America. But to do that you need a president willing to get the government out of the way so that you can. "... just like the left, Donald Trump's solutions are all built on the "smarts" of certain gifted people and then empowering those people to navigate the world for the masses. By contrast Ted Cruz' campaign is built on the strength of a set of ideas, where rights, power and responsibility belong to every citizen, not just the gifted few. This is the self-governing model our nation was...

California officials say the state overpaid at least $700,000 to state employees last month and the government is working to get the money back. The Sacramento Bee reports about 20,000 state employees got too much money in their paycheck -- ranging from $37 to $101 per employee. State Controller's Office spokesman John Hill says the mistake was limited to workers covered by two unions, including 12,689 employees in the California Correctional Peace Officers Association and "about 7,000" workers in the International Union of Operating Engineers Bargaining Unit 12. ...

If you are a Christian, you better brace yourself for great persecution. It has gotten very little attention from the mainstream media, but federal authorities have uncovered an ISIS plot to 'shoot up' a Detroit megachurch. 21-year-old Khalil Abu-Rayyan of Dearborn Heights, Michigan told authorities that he actually intended to take a gun into a very large church in Detroit that can seat up to 6,000 people and start killing Christians. He has been charged with supporting the Islamic States and with "illegally having a firearm while using a controlled substance". Abu-Rayyan actually admitted that since he can’t be part...

Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump on Monday told a town hall attendee that he had no qualms about telling the children of Syrian refugees that they can't come to the United States. A man at the campaign event in Salem, New Hampshire asked Trump if he could look the children in their faces and tell them they wouldn't be able to come to America. "I can look at their faces and say you can't come," Trump replied. "We don't know where their parents come from. They have no documentation." Trump has previously said that he thinks accepting Syrian refugees into...

In February 2014, Washington replaced Ukrainian democracy with fascism in Europe’s heartland - illegitimately installed officials waging war on their own people. Fundamental human and civil rights were abolished. Police state viciousness replaced them. Regime critics risk prosecution, sentencing, imprisonment or assassination. Two years after fascists seized power, conditions for ordinary Ukrainians are deplorable. According to Germany’s daily broadsheet Junge Welt, they’re “staggering.†“Since the end of the Yanukovych era, the average income has decreased by 50%,†it reported - on top of 2015’s 44% inflation, nearly reducing purchasing power by half, making it impossible for most Ukrainians to get...

The Michigan Legislature passed and Gov. Snyder signed Senate Bill 571, which prohibits schools and local governments from using taxpayer dollars to put out information about ballot proposals 60 days before an election. In the past, these entities have used public money to advocate for higher taxes. Here is the exact language of the controversial part of the bill: Except for an election official in the performance of his or her duties under the Michigan election law … a public body, or a person acting for a public body, shall not, during the period 60 days before an election in...

Five Minnesota men currently facing charges of criminal conspiracy after being caught preparing to go to Syria to fight for the Islamic State are demanding that charges be dismissed. Moosli Krahp, attorney for the five, stipulated that "the Islamic State has engaged in acts the rest of the world holds to be atrocious. However, these terror tactics are forced upon them by the superior firepower of their enemies. The West and its puppet allies can strike from the air. Civilians may be killed, but are quickly labeled 'collateral damage.' Well, the beheadings, torture, and similar actions carried out by the...

We must understand and return our government to the principles upon which our nation was built if we are to fight the current trend toward tyranny that is eroding our freedoms. In order to restore and maintain the constitutional republic established by America’s Founders, we must encourage today’s educators to teach the principles of liberty. The U.S. Constitution was, at its inception, built upon the principles set forth in the Declaration of Independence. The Declaration is our national birth certificate and the principles embedded in it are the supporting pillars of our Constitution. Of primary importance among these principles is...

Sen. Bernie Sanders, I-Vermont, is famous for his advocacy of a single-payer health care, such as prevails in Canada. However, one feature of such systems is the long wait times that patients have to endure before they get medical care. A case in point exists in the United States, with the Veterans’ Affairs Department health care system, government run, that has featured secret waiting lists upon which veterans have all too often died while in line for vital health care services. Sanders, at first, seemed to think that the story was a partisan plot to undermine the case for government-run...

How would you react to the following news stories? Former Shoppers Fined $5,000 for No Longer Frequenting Nearby Mall Residents of Anytown, USA were surprised to receive invoices in the mail from their local county government Friday. The county identified people who used to shop in the local mall but, due to reports of muggings, rapes, and vehicle theft at the mall, switched to shopping at other, safer malls, or just doing it online. The thousand dollar a year fine was based on the estimated amount of revenue the mall says it lost due to their departure. Professional economists, when...

The United States of America, 2020 President Hillary Clinton has been in office since January of 2017, after defeating Donald J. Trump in the closest and most litigated election in American history. Disliked as a candidate by the right, as President she is despised by Congress and most Americans, who are now well aware that an incompetent criminal sits in the Oval Office. The vast social engineering of the US military that rode roughshod over the armed services under Barack Obama is now legal policy. Open homosexuality is common in all branches. Transgenders who have undergone sex change operations, those...

The local GOP isn't choosing sides on whether U.S. Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas) is qualified to seek his party's presidential nomination -- at least, not right now. Why's that important? Because, according to a Friday report at al.com, a handful of Cullman County residents has filed a federal lawsuit alleging that Cruz, by virtue of his Canadian birth to a mother who is a U.S. citizen, is not a "natural born" U.S. citizen and is, therefore, not legally qualified to run for the presidency. The suit, a copy of which al.com said it received Friday from the Drake Law Firm...

13 Hours: The Secret Soldiers of BenghaziMy Review, Recommendation, and Request This is my review and recommendation of the movie, 13 Hours: The Secret Soldiers of Benghazi. The movie has very course language and extreme violence. But it is true to life and not gratuitous. I normally would not see, let alone recommend an R Rated movie...but in this case every adult American should know what happened in Benghazi. These are our soldiers and fellow citizens, and these courageous soldiers on the ground, served us well. But the upper levels of government, particular in the State Department and the Executive...

Go big or go home. If you enjoyed paying $1.59 a gallon for gas this past weekend, understand a few things. To the extent domestic production affects this, the oil industry is mostly gettings its resources on private lands. That’s because Obama, while he’s happy to take credit for the increased productivity and lower prices, is fighting new leases on federal lands wherever he can. That’s how he can reassure his left-wing base he’s an enemy of the oil industry while also taking credit for the low prices. But there is some oil being extracted on federal lands, and if...

Pope Francis who has thrown in with Obama in declaring that global warming/climate change is mankind’s biggest threat, and as the pontiff who will go wherever Patriarch Kirill wants--even if it’s at the Cuba airport--should be added ‘Francis the Follower' On digital video, where celebrities, politicians and popes can best fool the masses, Pope Francis is calling on mankind to stop man-made global warming and to walk more gently on what he sanctimoniously calls “our Common Homeâ€. With not a single mention to Whom they’ll be praying, Pope Francis is asking people around the world to pray—during the month of...
