The Disney Grooming Syndicate surrendered to Gov. Ron DeSantis (R-FL) Wednesday, announcing the withdrawal of its lawsuits in the Reedy Creek dispute. Back in 2022, after Disney decided it would fight for the “right” of public school teachers to groom elementary school kids by opposing a law DeSantis signed prohibiting grooming — as Breitbart News reported at the time — the governor “signed legislation into law … intended to dissolve Disney’s special tax and governing jurisdiction in Florida.” ... The good guys win again. Disney is evil. No decent parent leaves their child alone with anything involving Disney.

The Walt Disney Company has bent the knee and agreed to a settlement with the Ron DeSantis-appointed Central Florida Tourism Oversight District in exchange for dropping its state-level lawsuit. After over a year of legal machinations and false proclamations from a breathless press stating DeSantis had been beaten by "Mickey Mouse," the complete opposite turned out to be the truth. Shocker, right? Who would have thought the press would lie to people? Nikki Haley also infamously backed Disney, urging the company to move to South Carolina. The oversight district in question oversees Disney's local development. Before DeSantis wiped out its...

Senate Democrats were left red-faced at a hearing on climate change as their 'expert witness' proved to be anything but when faced by veteran senator John Kennedy. Budget Chairman Sheldon Whitehouse invited Olympic skier Gus Schumacher to give his perspective as the committee considered the impact of climate change on the recreation industry. But it was all downhill for the 23-year-old as he struggled to answer basic questions and could not remember his tweets claiming the war on drugs was designed to jail black people, and calling for the police to be abolished. The excruciating exchange continued with Schumacher insisting...

Louisiana Sen. John Kennedy is inarguably the most witty person in the U.S. Senate. With a folksy quip or quotation always at the ready, Kennedy can effortlessly dismantle an opponent’s argument with his deadpan delivery while keeping the whole room in stitches. And the reason why his delivery hits so well is that he makes sense — the common kind, which has become almost extinct in these woke times. For example, discussing some of his Democratic colleagues who support transgender athletes in women’s sports on Fox News’ “The Story,” Kennedy once said, “One of my Democratic colleague’s witnesses testified that...

Ricky Gervais knew what he was doing and why he was doing it when he took on transgender activism in his new Netflix special, SuperNature. Three quarters of an hour into his set, he told his audience: 'I talk about AIDS, famine, cancer, the Holocaust, rape, paedophilia...the one thing you should never joke about is the trans issue. They just want to be treated equally. I agree; that’s why I include them. But they know I’m joking about all the other stuff, but – they go – ‘no, he must mean that’.' The backlash to Gervais's jokes suggest he was...

"The platform's choice to release this special now, during a wave of unprecedented anti-trans legislation, is unconscionable," according to Vox.This week, British comedian Ricky Gervais released a new Netflix standup special, SuperNature, which has been widely heralded by cultural critics in the media as transphobic.. At this point, deeming standup specials transphobic—and taking to task the company that has platformed them—is a well-polished act. The only thing that's changed since this last happened, to Dave Chappelle, is Netflix's resolve to stand its ground. In October, Netflix employees crashed a meeting of company executives and staged a walkout over the streaming...

The creator of The Office, Ricky Gervais, has called out the online “fascists” that want to shut down freedom of speech, saying that “if you’re mildly conservative on Twitter people call you Hitler.” Continuing on his press tour marking the nineteenth anniversary of The Office, Gervais followed up his criticisms of cancel culture with an attack on the idea of so-called “hate speech”. “There’s this new weird sort of fascism of people thinking they know what you can say and what you can’t and it’s a really weird thing… that there’s this new trendy myth that people who want free...

On Friday night at the National Press Club in Washington, D.C., the conservative educational foundation ISI awarded Christopher Rufo with their 2024 Conservative Book of the Year Award for his America’s Cultural Revolution: How the Radical Left Conquered Everything. Rufo’s book is certainly deserving of the honor because it gives the reader a cogent history of the main players and mechanisms by which America’s left conquered almost all our institutions. More importantly, in its closing chapters, it outlines the weaknesses of the “Revolution of 1968” and outlines some ways by which those who favor the “Revolution of 1776” can fight...

"Editor, Has American become the land of the double standard? Lets see: if we lie to the Congress, it's a felony and if the Congress lies to us its just politics; if we dislike a black person, we're racist and if a black person dislikes whites, its their 1st Amendment right; the government spends millions to rehabilitate criminals and they do almost nothing for the victims; in public schools you can teach that homosexuality is OK, but you better not use the word God in the process;you can kill an unborn child, but it is wrong to execute a mass...

HUNTINGTON BEACH, Calif. - This oceanside enclave is a lot like the rest of coastal California: Its signature pier juts into the Pacific as waves big enough to make surfers salivate break beyond miles of white sand. But when it comes to politics, this city of 200,000 south of Los Angeles loudly defies the blue-state stereotypes. Lately, the beach town has become a battleground, its council chambers a coliseum for culture warriors. The conservatives who now control city government have pursued policies that position Huntington Beach as the ideological counterweight to the state’s liberal leaders. In the past year alone,...

Once in awhile I get to thinking and that can be dangerous. These are just some of my Sunday morning thoughts that probably don"t mean nothing. First of all I don"t know what TikTok is. The last Tick tock I saw was in my grandpa's house in the 50's. The only facebook I knew was the party line when you learned avout your neighbors while picking up the phone. I don"t know about electric cars. I suppose if you had a long enough extension cord they would be all right. My car was a 1967 mustang that required the points...

Reps. Lauren Boebert (R-CO) and Anna Paulina Luna (R-FL) were strolling the halls of Congress on Thursday when they spied a familiar face. So familiar in fact that comedian Dave Chappelle happily stopped and obliged his lawmaker admirers with a selfie. “Just three people who understand that there’s only two genders,” Boebert wrote on X, including a photo of her and Luna with the Chappelle’s Show star framed in the Capitol Rotunda.

“Can we keep our sons from conservative politics?” That’s the question writer Kathryn Jezer-Morton posed in a recent column for New York Magazine’s The Cut. “In her son’s case, I wouldn’t bet on it,” New York Times columnist Ross Douthat shot back on X. He’s right. Jezer-Morton is facing an age-old conundrum of parenthood: Kids rebel against their parents’ politics. Except, in 2024, the classic trend is being inverted.
