Once in awhile I get to thinking and that can be dangerous. These are just some of my Sunday morning thoughts that probably don"t mean nothing. First of all I don"t know what TikTok is. The last Tick tock I saw was in my grandpa's house in the 50's. The only facebook I knew was the party line when you learned avout your neighbors while picking up the phone. I don"t know about electric cars. I suppose if you had a long enough extension cord they would be all right. My car was a 1967 mustang that required the points to be filed every few thousand miles. And I don't know much about this she/her or he/him stuff. Is this literary stuttering or a personality disorder. And I am extremely perplexed by the 65 or so genders issue. When I grew up there was only 2 genders. I chased pretty little Patty in front of me in school but she never gave me the time of day. I never gave up and I managed to cajole a beautiful Christian woman to marry me when I was 31. After 40 or so years it was a good decision. If I had to choose between 65 different genders I would be so confused today. Don't get me wrong, I might not be that smart but I hear some peaceful Capitol protesters have been in jail for almost 4 years while hundreds of people who burned our citied have gone scot free. And I don't understand while someone can illegally stuff classified materials in their car and garage can go scot free while someone who has a legitimate right o have documents is in court. Oh well just a few things I can't wrap my mind about. Maybe someone out htere can straighten me out.

I’m in the same lifeboat as you. Add to that confusion is the right they think they have to kill babies in the womb as it is an inconvenience to whoever.

You only have 65 genders? You’re way behind the times, grampa. Here in Oregon we’re pushing over 500 and hoping to reach 1,000 by this time next Ramadan or Kwanza, which ever comes first.
I suspect we are related via age and generation (baby boomers). As children of the "finest generation" we were taught what really matters and live by a code of giving our best. No one who follows the crowd is doing their best because they please others. At the moment we take our last breaths, we aren't going to have regrets that we should have respected our parents more, forgiven those who trespassed against us or spent more time with those we loved the most. Eternity with our Heavenly Father will be the reward from our loving Savior, Jesus. We would not change a thing for even one minute. Bless you.

Thank you. I read most of it, but while naming “anarcho-tyranny”, I don’t see the author attempt to explain its cause.
I believe that any job affords the possibility that the person, whose task it is, will figure out how to gain control of what that task is. Some people are driven to work. Most want to find how to escape it. This means that more people would rather figure out how to reduce the work they are required to do, than actually accomplish it.
In government, this means arresting people who don’t wear seatbelts, rather than dangerous criminals.
Worse, we have given government whole new things to do outside of governance. Most of it involves handling large sums of money. It is perfectly predictable that the people in government would abandon governance and prefer to play with all that loot.
Zappa was of course prescient. In “Slime” this is frighteningly true, when he refers to “the rights of you being sold”; this is exactly what happened with Facebook (and the internet, generally).
AFAIC, they can take the Statue of Liberty and ship its corroded old ass back to France. The US is NOT open for business to every third world illegal slag on this planet.

Key quotes addressing “cause”—it is the leftist totalitarian state trying to maximize its power and control. The ultimate “cause” of course is human evil—the “will to power” of the sociopaths among us:

In the early 1980’s for about 3 years I read Chronicles until I finally figured out what they actually were.
They are heavy on history, but still believe that Monarchy is a acceptable form of government. It is NOT. Totalitarianism in all forms is EVIL!
It has been over 30 years since I saw one of the magazines.
Thomas Fleming (there is another writer of same name but certainly not same views) was the Editor of Chronicles for a long time. He attended Church in Falls Church, VA. A well known traitor attended that same church too. I’ve seen nothing connecting them.
