Matthew 24:6 And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet. Why are the Democrats running away from Detroit? Aren’t these the results they have been striving for ever since their War on Cars began back in the sixties? For the past fifty years the Marxists have focused all of their energy on making sure Detroit would become a ghost town and now that they have succeeded they act like they are surprised that it looks like an abandoned...

I can remember for years a lot of the talk radio people saying that liberals were "well intentioned, but misguided." That may have been true once, but if it was the case years ago, it is not anymore. Just look at the anti trumpers and their rioting or the black lives matter filth storming the stage at a Yiannopoulis event and you can see what liberals really are today--viscious, fascist, thugs trying to shut down free speech with violence and intimidation. Is there any way that these people can be thought of as "well intentioned?" The answer is clearly NO.

Karl Rove and the rest of the money changers in the Temple are going to give Trump some really bad advice right now. All true conservatives need to sit down tomorrow, take pen and paper in hand, and write a thank you letter to Pres. Obama. He just handed us the 2016 general election on a silver platter. By issuing what amounts to a “royal decree” that every public school, in every school district, in every city and town, in every state in America must allow ninth grade boys to go shower with the girls after phys ed class, he is handed us a very rare but exceptionally powerful political “wedge issue.” Wedge issues are exceptionally rare in politics, particularly for us conservatives....

Right now Trump is listed as having 1080 delegates. This is on CNN's page, which I have found, despite CNN's other difficulties, to have about the most accurate election documentation. http://edition.cnn.com/election/primaries/candidates/donald-trump 1014 bound and 66 unbound delegates who have definitely announced for him. That means: Donlad Trump has 157 delegates to go to get to the 1,237 as of May 9, 2016. Let's use this thread to keep trakc of Donald Trump's attaining the 1,237 now that he is the only candidayte left in the running and already the presumptive nominee.

I have heard that a lot of Republicans, ESPECIALLY Trump supporters, have said that the candidate who comes into the Cleveland convention with the most delegates should be (automatically?) awarded the nomination even if he cannot get 1237 votes on the first ballot. I just want to go on record as saying that this widespread notion is politically stupid--even politically monstrous. The Republican Party's rules since the very birth of the Party have specified that a prospective nominee must achieve a majority of Convention votes to become the nominee. As most FReepers already know, this longstanding fact is not disputed....

Well, for one thing, it would be counterproductive. With three, four or five candidates drawing delegates, it simply prevents anyone from getting to 1237 and ensures that the GOPe gets to install one of their own establishment guys at the convention. The malleable "rules" are designed to to preserve, protect and defend the establishment ruling class. Nothing more. Cruz knows this. He has betrayed the grassroots.

I was told yesterday that Trump is a liberal Democrat. Trump’s political registration records since 1987 are public and available online. Why are the effects of the Colorado convention still lingering, and why have they taken on a life of their own? It's certainly not because of "Trump's whining." If you believe that every criticism of every campaign event by ANY side is "whining," well, yeah, Trump "whined" (just as Cruz's supporters seem to be "whining" about the NY dinner). If you want to take that line, why has this seemingly touched a nerve that Trump's "whining" about so many other things did not? Rudyard Kipling wrote a prescient poem in 1919, called "Gods of the Copybook Headings.". This is, simply put, a must-read poem. Copybooks were texts that allowed British schoolchildren of the time to practice penmanship, and the phrase they would copy -- often a phrase of a sermon, or some wise aphorism -- would be featured on the copybook heading. Kipling was appalled by the counterintuitive modern thoughts of the day, and wrote the poem to point out how eons of wisdom and experience of humankind were hard-won, and he urged us not to embrace the depraved 'shortcuts' we began to...

Trump. Out of a field of seventeen, three men are left standing.  Two of them have a question to ponder.  That question is this. Senator Cruz, Governor Kasich, what do you two want your legacy to be? At the current time, Senator Cruz needs 84% of the remaining delegates to win the nomination on the first ballot.  Governor Kasich needs...

The violent disruptions occurring at Trump conventions are a setup. DO NOT FIGHT FIRE WITH FIRE. All you get is a bigger fire that is out of control. The welfare/communist left want escalation so they can appear justified in ratcheting up the use of force and ultimately control the outcome of the electoral process. They're luring you to show up at their rallies to get you on video fighting. The will counter with their Sturmabteilung. To stop a fire, remove the oxygen/fuel. Don't - show - up. Consider this scenario as a analogy: In a domestic situation a woman exists...

One consistent behavior of the left is that they create a crisis, then offer to solve it, all the while blaming the victim. So it goes with Donald Trump and his rallies. The group #BlackLiesMatter has stormed his rallies, fighting with his supporters in Chicago, and disrupting other events, and even had a lone wolf Thomas Dimassimo rush Trump on his podium. Thank the Good Lord the Secret Service was prepared and protected him quickly with their bodies, for who knows how this might have otherwise played out. In response, the Propaganda Ministry (formerly and inaccurately known as the American...

2 Peter 1:4 Through these he has given us his very great and precious promises, so that through them you may participate in the divine nature, having escaped the corruption in the world caused by evil desires. Unlike Conservatism, Liberalism a Godless faith which forces its followers to be fundamentalists in the belief of their liberal dogma. It forces people to work their way to being a better person than those who do not march in lockstep to the Democrat doxology. Theirs is a man made set of morals and laws which often counters the Bible’s moral authority. This is...

Since it is more and more clear that the GOP Presidential Primary race is evolving into a two man race, with Donald Trump leading and Ted Cruz attempting to challenge that lead, I though I would post a chart of the various people supporting both candidates. This is not, by any means and exhaustive list...but it is a list of some of the better known people endorsing them. I think it is an interesting comparison. well know people on both sides with strong records and histories behind them in their various areas. Irrespective of whom you support, it is clear...

Rubio announced Wednesday night on Fox that he is not dropping out of the race before Florida. "No. I am not dropping out, I am fighting all the way through. We’re going to win Florida...and this election changes completely, and it gives us the momentum to go forward to win the nomination." But apparently someone forgot to tell the people Rubio turnout for at Hialeah stadium in southeast Florida. When he attends such rallies, it has to be obvious to him. Meanwhile, Trump, who is leading in the polls is getting these types of turnouts in Flrida. 'nuff said.

  • Donald Trump, the Sensible Party and the Silly Parties

Donald Trump, the Sensible Party and the Silly Parties What we have in Washington are two Silly Parties. The reason both parties are silly is because within each party the sensible people (defined below) are being outvoted by silly people (also defined below). This explains why 1) no matter which party wins an election, the downward spiral continues and 2) neither party has been able to reform itself. We need to break out of this cycle; and I think this is what Donald Trump is trying to engineer, by doing the following: Recruit as many sensible people as possible from...

The Donald Trump Phenomenon II After writing "The Donald Trump Phenomenon - Straight Talk," a couple fo weeks ago. I thought I would further articulate my feelings about this 2016 Election cycle, and in particular the Donald Trump Phenomenon and what it continues to mean. This is probably one of the most critical elections for the future of the United States in my life time...similar to, and equal in import, to the 1980 election between then President Jimmy Carter and Ronald Reagan. Throughout the GOP Primaries, people have gone from believing that Donald Trump's campaign was not serious, to being...
