  • Expelled student sues IU for gender discrimination

A former IUPD cadet and IU student, expelled for violating the University’s consent policy, is suing IU for gender discrimination. Aaron Farrer, 21, alleges that the University’s policies for sexual assault investigations unfairly favor women and fail to protect the accused, according to court documents. “IU violated Title IX by creating a gender biased, hostile environment against males, like Farrer, based in part on IU’s pattern and practice of disciplining male students who accept physical contact initiated by female students, but failing to discipline female students who engage in the same conduct,” Farrer’s attorneys wrote in the complaint.

Minnesota players have ended their boycott of the Holiday Bowl. (Photo by Hannah Foslien/Getty Images) Minnesota football players ended their boycott Saturday morning and will begin preparation for the Holiday Bowl on Dec. 27. The Gophers had been protesting the suspension of 10 players linked to a sexual assault allegation. The team was demanding the suspended players be reinstated immediately. [Forde-Yard Dash: Every bowl game, parsed and personified and predicted] Senior wide receiver Drew Wolitarsky read a team statement Saturday morning: “As a team, we understand that what has occurred these past few days, and playing football for the University...

Although Clinton didn’t end up becoming the first woman president of the United States, she broke a major barrier by becoming the first presidential nominee of a major party. She did so by putting women at the center of her platform, offering progressive policies like enacting paid family leave, raising the minimum wage, and fighting for reproductive rights.

Hateful notes and emails allegedly sent to a North Park University student were “fabricated,” the school’s president said Tuesday in a statement, and the woman who claimed they were aimed toward her is no longer enrolled at the school. “We are confident there is no further threat of repeated intolerance to any member of our campus community stemming from this recent incident” the university’s President David Parkyn said in a statement. The student, Taylor Volk, said on Nov. 14 she had received emails and notes taped to her door containing harassing, threatening language and mentions of President-elect Donald Trump. She...

Here is the link to Hillary Clinton's infamous tweet: https://twitter.com/HillaryClinton/status/668597149291184128 "Every survivor of sexual assault deserves to be heard, believed, and supported." Thankfully, Kellyanne Conway didn't forget, and clearly neither did the next President of the United States, Donald J. Trump. I think Broaddrick and Jones have merit, and even Vox, a liberal mouthpiece, thinks so too: http://www.vox.com/2016/10/9/13221340/juanita-broaddrick-hillary-clinton-rape

A federal judge has reinstated a Brown University student after finding that the Ivy League school in Providence, R.I., improperly judged him responsible for sexual misconduct. The case was yet another example of the stresses confronted by colleges and universities, whose methods of adjudicating such cases have increasingly come under heavy fire for being too aggressive toward the accused, even as they are being pressured for not being aggressive enough. Indeed, the Brown case underscored how that tension has spread: It included an organized campaign by students supportive of the woman who brought the charge to pressure the judge into...

This buffoonish in-your-face leftist lesbian said it’s a good thing if conservatives feel unable to express their views for fear of facing hostility from their peers or professors. I seem to recall that it was Rush Limbaugh who coined the term “feminazi” to describe the most militant of feminists. It was from about two decades ago when feminists, who were especially aggressive on university campuses, openly embraced totalitarianism. Intellectuals Andrea Dworkin and Catharine MacKinnon embraced a fascistic form of feminism that sought to dictate how Americans thought and behaved. MacKinnon, amazingly enough a law professor, injected a virulent poison into...

The night Hillary Clinton accepted the Democratic nomination, as TV anchors gushed about the penultimate crack in the highest glass ceiling, I tried to lure my 12-year-old daughter into the living room. I wanted her to witness history. She wanted to play a quiz on her phone. So when I put her to bed, I gave her a personal history lesson. Yes, I’d had plenty of career opportunities, and she would, too. But her grandmother, born in Hillary’s generation, had to fight to go to college, and her options afterward were limited to jobs considered suitable for a woman. Even...

I've used a couple of dating sites in my time, and went to college with an active dating and hookup scene. Somehow, it is socially acceptable for non-thin girls to think a fit, in-shape male who happens to be short is "too short" for them, or that the girl is too good for them. Height can't be controlled at all and therefore, like race (whatever race tho, not just blacks but whites, reds, browns, yellows too), does not reflect one's values or personality traits. Weight can be easily controlled; fat girls are usually too lazy to go to the gym,...
  • The Stanford Rape Case Raises Serious Questions for the Legal Profession

It is easy to look at these questions and conclude the defense lawyer is a victim-blaming sleaze. Certainly the woman here has good reason to despise him. The rest of us, though, shouldn't be calling for his head. Instead, we should be rethinking American rape law, and the legal profession should be having tough conversations about the competing ethical obligations in sexual violence cases. The questions Turner's lawyer asked were aggressive enough to serve as the art for the BuzzFeed post on the victim's letter. They're there at the top, in red: How old are you? How much do you...

Milo Yiannopoulis is a colorful, rightishly-inclined journalist at Breitbart currently touring American college campuses as part of his "Dangerous Faggot Tour". Shortly before 7 pm PST, two dozen left-wing activists blockaded the lecture hall entrance, preventing the entry of over 500 people who had paid to attend the event. At De Paul University in Chicago last week, BLM charged the stage and forcibly grabbed the microphone, occupied the stage and put a stop to the event after De Paul University administrators told security and police to take no action to stop the disruption. UCLA students trapped inside the blockaded event...

The California Democratic primary is up for grabs, as Hillary Clinton has watched her onetime 63-point lead in the polls shrink to six points over Sen. Bernie Sanders, according to a Field Poll released Friday. Clinton leads Sanders 47 percent to 41 percent among likely voters in the June 7 primary, with 12 percent undecided. Voters who do not state a party preference are allowed to vote in the Democratic primary, which is good news for Sanders, as unaffiliated voters in other states have been supportive. In California, nonpartisans support Sanders 49 percent to 39 percent for Clinton. The survey...

I don’t have to live in the 69th Village, because I can’t afford anything else… My cousin, she just had [a baby]. She’s just a month younger than me. … But I mean, who gets up with this child? • UT coach denies culture of sex assault in football program after lawsuit

    02/21/2016 10:31:50 AM PST · by TraditionalMerica · 16 replies
a new lawsuit accuses the university of mishandling reports of alleged sexual assaults by student athletes, particularly football players. It alleges the university violated federal Title IX regulations against sex discrimination, fostered "a hostile sexual environment and culture" and offers a 20-year-old complaint against then-Volunteers quarterback Peyton Manning as evidence of the school's longstanding indifference. The complaint was filed February 9 in federal court in Nashville, two days after Manning led the Denver Broncos to victory in Super Bowl 50. The six accusers are not named in the complaint. A "hostile sexual environment of rape by male athletes" was "condoned...
  • Gloria Steinem puts the Feminist Movement to death

The feminist movement is dead. It died at the hands of Gloria Steinem. Cause of death was political strangulation. Gloria Steinem had made a name for herself for purporting to be a voice for women's rights beginning in the 60's and 70's. She was an icon for women for a long time but has repeatedly compromised her alleged principles for politics and her biases finally overtook her. Limbaugh's "feminazi" term has never been more appropriate. I began to loathe Steinem for her painful hypocrisy in the 90's when she (and HIllary) went Tammy Wynette during the Bill Clinton Presidency. She...

.... Steinem’s polished humanitarian mask had slipped, revealing the mummified fascist within. I’m sure that my delight was shared by other dissident feminists everywhere. Never before has the general public, here or abroad, more clearly seen the arrogance and amoral manipulativeness of the power elite who hijacked and stunted second-wave feminism ....
