Any commemoration in the Knesset of the anniversary of Rabbi Meir Kahane's assassination would be harmful to the peace process, the US Embassy told The Jerusalem Post Wednesday. The American comments came after the Post obtained a series of e-mails in which an embassy official told Knesset Speaker Reuven Rivlin's office that the possibility of such a ceremony was "something that Senator [George] Mitchell and his team are following with concern." Following a Post report describing Rivlin's denial that he had allowed MK Michael Ben-Ari to commemorate Kahane in the Knesset plenum, the US administration contacted Rivlin's office to keep...

Thanks for viewing! This short video is based on a true event that happened on a US Navy liberty boat- (top railing), going on liberty from the USS Kitty Hawk CVA-63 to NAS San Diego California in the fall of 1967. The little bumblebee appeared to be dead and was blown aboard and landed in front of my eyes on the top railing. I prayed a short prayer and the bee jumped up and flew away. Not one sparrow falls or dies without our heavenly father knowing and also not one bee. Jesus the Lord really cares for YOU and...

Hello Freepers! A rally for Sarah Palin was held in Kissimmee, Fl. today and it seems that all involved had a grand time. My guess is there was about 10,000 people there, a big crowd but the place was not packed. It was an ethically diverse group in a very family friendly atmosphere with tons of kids about. While standing in line next to a guy herding 5 teenage girls I asked the girls why they had come and they all screamed “WE LOVE SARAH PALIN!” Much to my relief there were no protesters anywhere and the Osceola County Sheriff’s...

BAGHDAD, May 4, 2006 – Coalition officials here today showed the "outtakes" of terrorist Abu Musab al-Zarqawi's latest anti-coalition screed, and it became quickly apparent why they ended on the cutting-room floor, so to speak. In one, Zarqawi -- the leader of al Qaeda in Iraq -- has trouble trying to operate an automatic weapon. An associate has to show him how to do it. Later in the same shot, an associate takes the weapon from Zarqawi by the barrel and burns his hand. In another, the feared terrorist is shown in a black uniform and bright blue "tenny pumps."...

February 9, 2006 Democratic Grief: Funerals Just Another Campaign Event The shameful spectacle of funerals transmogrifying into Democrat pep rallies has apparently become de rigueur. By Carol Turoff We initially witnessed such partisan excesses at the memorial service for Minnesota Sen. Paul Wellstone. The senator, his wife, daughter and staffers, died in a plane crash in 2002. Rather than gathering to honor his memory and celebrate lives tragically cut short, it became a visceral display as Republican attendees were booed when their images were shown on the closed- circuit screen at the service. The governor of Minnesota and his wife...

WASHINGTON, Dec. 15, 2005 – The Defense Department's top civilian leader praised U.S. servicemembers serving at home and abroad during a town hall meeting held at the Pentagon today. As the holiday season begins, Defense Secretary Donald H. "You weren't drafted," Rumsfeld pointed out. "Every single person said, 'Send me.'" America is an amazing country, whose young people in uniform are willing to fight -- and die, if need be -- to...
