People in England and Wales have two weeks to hand in guns, other weapons and ammunition to police stations without being punished for possession. People who surrender firearms will not automatically be charged, but will be if they are later connected to a crime. Police say many firearms are held in ignorance of their illegality. The Bloodhound Supersonic Car just completed its first public test, reaching 210 mph in eight seconds on a 1.7-mile airport runway in England. It’s powered by an engine usually found on combat aircraft, which gave it a 54,000-thrust horsepower. That’s equal to the combined output of at least 360 family cars. A market stall holder has been banned from having a stand in a town centre because she was selling 'offensive' Knights Templar coffee mugs. Tina Gayle has been prohibited from having a stall in Loughborough Market after someone complained about the mugs.
