Labour MP: Pro-Lifers ‘Weaponising Rosary Beads’ Outside Abortion Clinics

Rupa Huq is planning to table an amendment outlawing protests outside abortion clinics

A Labour MP is planning to table an amendment to new domestic violence legislation to ban protests outside abortion clinics.

Rupa Huq, the MP for Ealing Central and Acton, told a fringe meeting at the Labour Party conference that pro-life protesters were “weaponising rosary beads” outside a clinic in her constituency.

HuffPost UK quotes her as saying: “We have a Marie Stopes clinic in Ealing and for as long as I can remember, there has been a constant phoney vigil outside the clinic, with people stopping women going into the clinic to access services.

“So we have had a counter protest, called Sister Support recently, and now there is a kind of stand-off on the pavement.

“I want to table an amendment to the domestic violence bill – one of the few things that survived and made it into the Queen’s Speech – to create a safe zone, around these clinics, because the pavement should be a safe space.

“Nobody should feel uncomfortable accessing services or going about their daily routines.”

In 2014, Yvette Cooper, the then shadow home secretary, called for “buffer zones” around abortion clinics, backing a campaign by the British Pregnancy Advisory Service (BPAS), Britain’s biggest abortion provider.

Domestic violence is what is happening inside the clinics.

Keep in mind that in British English, to "table" a proposal means to put it ON the table (rather than to take of OFF the table, i.e. remove it from consideration.)

So yeah, they're considering outlawing pro-lifers being even on the sidewalk or public right-of-way outside the abortuaries.

But this Fall there are SEVEN 40 Days for Life groups conducting vigils at clinics in the U.K. right now. Bow your heads and pray for God's blessing.

Abortion is the weaponization of the eugenicists and the radical population control humanists. These Leftist forces would like for you and your offspring to die before the population of the earth destroys all future life. Their ideological swill is being taught in every major university and college worldwide.

Are there many Catholics in England?

Per the BBC, "...the Catholic Church claims just over four million members in England and Wales - and another 695,000 in Scotland. Out of a total population of about 60 million, that means about one in 12 people in Great Britain is Catholic."

How Many Catholics Are There in Britain?

Yet another example of what true hate looks like. She really does hate Catholics and is the true person who needs to be controlled.

It’s actually correct. Catholics very much view the Rosary as a weapon against evil

Huq is generally a Bangladeshi Muslim surname. Now, whatever I think of Muslims, they are pro-life. This MP's opinion and statements are against the Muslims as well.

She is a leftist and spouting leftist views.

Note also that in the UK, the native ENGLISH abort the second most (percentage wise) after Carribean origin folks.

I lived in England from 2000 to 2005.

There are approximately 4 million Catholics in England, but the number of active Catholics is larger than the number of active any-other religious group.

When I went for mass, whether in Brighton or London or York or Bristol, the churches were always full on Sundays and frequently on weekdays.

In contrast the Church of England churches were sadly empty all the time

Baptist Churches and Eastern Orthodox/Coptic Churches were, like Catholic churches, full. I didn't visit any Evangelical/other Christian churches, so cannot comment on them. NOTE: this was before the wave of Eastern European Catholics and Orthodox came to England -- from what I know, the Catholic and Orthodox churches are burgeoning due to these new migrants

Church of England parishes are dying, rapidly. If you are religious, the CoE offers you nothing -- you will either go traditional and become Catholic/Orthodox, or you will join a Baptist/Evangelical church. If you are non-religious, the CoE offers you nothing, not even a social club.

Indeed; the devil [and his followers] is terrified of the rosary. Have you ever read "The Secret of the Rosary," by St. Louis De Montfort?
