Wendy Russell Davis is on fire. And I don’t mean that in a good way. I mean it in a five-alarm, set-her-own-skirt-aflame, billowing-human-torch kind of way. To say that Davis is smokin’ hot is not a compliment. It’s a campaign incineration status update. The Democratic darling of the Hollywood Left and glamour gal of abortion thought her path to the Texas governor’s mansion would be a pink-sneakered walk in the park. Instead, her single-issue campaign has combusted. The high point of Davis’ career came last year when she flamboyantly opposed state restrictions on late-term abortions in the wake of Philadelphia...

Via Tom Elia and Becket Adams, I feel like this campaign can’t end until Wendy herself delivers an impassioned plea from the Capitol steps: “For God’s sake, he can’t even walk.” Until then, though, she’s got more important points to make: When Stewart asked why Democrats can’t turn Texas blue, Davis blamed congressional redistricting. Saying, “It’s on its way, it really is on its way. And what we’ve suffered from here for quite a while is two decades of Republican led redistricting that have created very purely drawn Republican districts and a few very purely drawn Democratic ones. And so...

Earlier today, Alex Griswold told you about Wendy Davis doubling down on her campaign-imploding “Look at the cripple” ad. Or tripling down, or quadrupling down, or however many times it’s been at this point. She told Andrea Mitchell that the ad was “fair.” Oh, and Abbott is “working to kick that ladder down.” Well said, Wendy. But believe it or not, Mitchell said something even dumber. At about the 1:00 mark in the above video, she emitted this brainfart:.....

A new Wendy Davis campaign ad “exploits†the accident that left Texas Attorney General and Republican governor nominee Greg Abbott paralyzed for life, according to the Abbott campaign. The ad, called “Justice,†seeks to paint Greg Abbott as a hypocrite. Instead, it paints the Davis campaign as unethical and extremely desperate. It’s surely one of the most negative political ads in Texas history, which is saying something. The Abbott camp hit back very hard this afternoon. In a press statement, spokeswoman Amelia Chasse struggled for words to make sure that her statement is strong enough to convey the campaign’s outrage....

In what may be one of the most slimy campaign ads ever to air, Texas gubernatorial candidate Wendy Davis attacks pro-life candidate Greg Abbott by running an ad with an empty wheelchair that takes a shot at Abbott, who is confined to one.Davis is the pro-abortion candidate for governor in Texas whose sole claim to fame is having filibustered against a bill to ban late-term abortions. Not content to speak out against protecting unborn babies after viability, the Davis campaign is now mocking her pro-life opponent, Greg Abbott, for being paralyzed. At age 26, Abbott was struck by a falling oak...

(VIDEO-AT-LINK)AUSTIN, Texas -- With the election only days away, Democrat candidate for Texas Governor Wendy Davis is holding nothing back in her efforts to attack her Republican opponent Greg Abbott. The challenge for Davis is that her past attacks have either been largely ignored by the voters, failed to stick after being debunked, or, backfired on her, as was the case with her "empty wheelchair" ad and an odd attempt to paint Abbott -- whose wife is Hispanic -- as opposing interracial marriage. Now, in a new radio ad, Davis alleges that Abbott does not want black Texans to vote....
