Via Tom Elia and Becket Adams, I feel like this campaign cant end until Wendy herself delivers an impassioned plea from the Capitol steps: For Gods sake, he cant even walk.
Until then, though, shes got more important points to make:
When Stewart asked why Democrats cant turn Texas blue, Davis blamed congressional redistricting.
Saying, Its on its way, it really is on its way. And what weve suffered from here for quite a while is two decades of Republican led redistricting that have created very purely drawn Republican districts and a few very purely drawn Democratic ones. And so all of the conversations in elections take place during primaries.
Democrats havent held the governors seat for 20 years because of congressional redistricting?
I made this point months ago but its worth repeating now: If Mary Burke ends up losing narrowly to Scott Walker in Wisconsin because moron liberals outside Texas were too busy showering cash on Wendys lost cause $30 million and counting! itll be one of the great own-goals in modern political history. They could have gone all-in to take out Walker and eliminated a potential threat to Hillary in 2016 before the primary campaign even started. As it is, hes probably a narrow favorite to win reelection and one of the GOPs best options to give Clinton a serious challenge as Republican nominee. Thank heavens for that pointless abortion filibuster.
Update: $30 million in donations, and yet nobodys buying Daviss book. But that makes sense, actually. Theyre not donating to her, theyre donating symbolically to the cause of abortion. Who cares what Wendy has to say?

Can you imagine if a Republican said that a wheelchair bound Democrat just “rolls around”?????
- Saul Alinsky
Every time Davis, or her minions, uncork a wheelchair crack, the Abbott campaign should simply respond with a photo of FDR in his wheelchair—nothing else.
Or if a Republican insisted a man in a wheelchair stand up AKA Joe Biden.
These folks are either seriously dense and inept, or there is a strong streak of hatred and evil in them. And they are cursing what is coming down the pike at them. And they deserve it. The attacks on his Hispanic wife seem to have abated, but there is still time.

My suggestion to Abbott is that he not take Davis’ concession call next Tuesday evening. Just refuse the call.
Sucks to be a democrat in Texas for last 20 years because the conservative democrats switched en mass to the republican party after Ann Richards was governor in 1990. The democrats that remained were the old hardcore liberals and KKK types.
Wasn’t Windy (excuse me) Wendy Davis a republican before she was a democrat?...I think so.
If that isn’t confusing enough, I think she was temporarily pro-life, then pro-abortion, then confused part of the time during her campaigning.
Anyway, that’s what I like about Texas politics, you have to be at the grassroots level to understand the real influences in politics here.
Yes, Greg Abbott is going to keep rolling along despite anything Wendy’s people can do about it. She has lost much of her support from the local democrats as she plods along. If she had listened to them, rather than the big money outsiders and Washington types, her campaign would be going much smoother.
When it didn’t materialize it was time to call in the big guns. I was expecting Obama or Mooshelle down here to campaign for her, but Obama had a golf schedule conflict and Mooshelle has turnips to tend to. So now she is SOL unless Joe Biden has some free time. (He’s in Californica trying to convince people he is the real vice-president of the USA and not somebody else.)
Oh yes, the last minute voter-id thing has hurt her and Battleground Texas, but to what extent, nobody knows unknown until after election day.
Abortion Barbie got a -1 from me yesterday.
ROFL! A liberal moron whining about redistricting? That is the number one tool used by Dems for decades. Sucks when it happens to them - NOT!
FU Davis. You are one brain dead bimbo.
It’s pure hatred. The left is full of self important angry, hate filled people. The problem is that millions of reasonable voters never see how these people conduct themselves and vote for them.
