  • Vanity: To repeal every political and policy of the Obama Administration on EVERY issue!

Vanity: It should be the policy goals of every elected Republican official (in the whole nation) to overturn/repeal every political and policy of the Obama Administration on EVERY issue! Not really a message, than a declaratory statement. Just wanted to REMIND everyone that WE DO NOT need to compromise with the Obama Administration in ANY way. We do not need to acquiesce to the idea that "this is the way it is" (in regard) to the "change" that Obama has instituted in this great nation. WE NEED TO REVERSE each and EVERY ONE of his actions, on EVERY ISSUE and...

American Jews overwhelmingly tend to vote Democrat for one simple reason: they see the choice as being between 1) the Democrats and their belief in nothing versus 2) the Republicans and their beliefs based on their Christian faith and heritage. Given that choice, then, rather than side with people of faith – which they see as a different and potentially antagonistic belief system – they feel safer in the party that is devoid of any values or convictions. The “thinking” behind this is that, if people believe in things then they might fight for those things. They might even commit...

There was more to James Garner than just his acting and racing careers. The beloved actor, who died July 19 (read about his career, life and death in this related Inquisitr article) left behind a legacy of political activism. Like the vast majority of the people in the TV and movie industries, James Garner was a staunch, lifelong Democrat. That’s hardly unusual — according to this article in Suite, Hollywood gives five times more money to Democrats than to Republicans. But where many Hollywood Democrats like to talk the talk, Garner walked the walk — sometimes literally. On August 28,...

The contrast between the two women couldn't be sharper. Hillary is the ultimate political insider, taking $20 million from Wall Street, including $5 million from Goldman Sachs. In two recent speeches to Goldman -- at $200,000 a pop -- Hillary spoke about why big banks shouldn't be blamed for the financial crisis. "We're all in this together," she reportedly told them. Hillary's political campaigns have been financed by Wall Street. Her family foundation is underwritten by banks, corporations and foreign governments. I read this at NRO: Senate Democrats’ Religious-Freedom Deprivation BillUnder the guise of “protect[ing] women’s health from corporate interference,” the bill that Senate Democrats are proposing in response to the Hobby Lobby ruling would deprive religious entities of all religious-liberty protections against having the HHS mandate directly imposed on them. Lerner stated that she had been “cautioning” fellow IRS employees to be “cautious about what we say in emails” because “Congress has asked for emails”. She was also concerned with hiding information shared through an IRS internal messaging system known as OCS, previously unknown to congressional investigators and others. If you let me keep my seat, that’ll be the end of it. I will not look for you, I will not pursue you. But if...
  • Which Hoover do we want?

Very simple question and possibly shortest post in history. Knowing that an economic collapse is coming of depression magnitude or worse, do Freepers want another republican Hoover, or is it time for a democrat Hoover in 2016 to reap what he has sown?
  • Monica Lewinsky: Righteous Good Girl (By Modern Standards, She's Actually a Prude)

“Thanks to the Drudge Report, I was possibly the first person whose global humiliation was driven by the Internet,” Monica Lewinsky writes in Vanity Fair. And though her affair with Bill Clinton may have kicked off our modern era of sex scandal — and set the standard for the boom-bust cycles of denial and apology, sexist fascination, and pseudo-celebrity — a lot has changed since 1998. A presidential candidate made a sex tape. Two U.S. Congressmen resigned over flirtations with women they never even met. Slut-shaming entered the lexicon, but so did cyberbullying, sexting, and reality star. Sixteen years after...

Complete Title: The Democrats are running a Hispanic, Former Gang Member, Car Thief and Baby Killer and “They Love Her” Lucy Flores is the new shining light for the Democratic Party in Nevada State. Can this former gang member be the new face of the Dems in a state to go totally Republican due to Harry Reid’s dubious ways? Flores is from the seedy streets of Las Vegas in a predominately Hispanic neighborhood that shadows the infamous Las Vegas Strip. She had dropped out of high school by the age of 17, been arrested for driving a stolen car on...

Daniel Simmons, 34, of Pike Creek, Del., who also happens to be a Delaware deputy attorney general with the New Castle County Misdemeanor Trial Unit, was arrested by the New Castle County Police on May 2 and charged with four counts of fourth-degree rape in connection with a series of alleged assaults on a 16-year-old boy who police say he met through "Grindr," a social media app that connects gay and bisexual males. Officer Tracey Duffy, a spokesperson for the New Castle County Police, said the investigation into Simmons began a few months ago after information regarding Simmons and his...

Democratic candidate for governor Brett Hulsey plans to hand out white Ku Klux Klan-style hoods to Wisconsin Republicans as they gather for their annual convention Friday to highlight what he says are their racist policies. Hulsey, a state representative from Madison who is white, came into the state Capitol press room on Thursday to show off a hood he says he made with his daughter’s sewing machine using curtain material he purchased for $1. “It’s a Wisconsin Republican Party hat,” Hulsey said. “And people can interpret it any way they want.” When asked whether he was serious, trying to be...

A Democrat official in New Jersey is under fire after a forensic lab identified with 85 percent certainty that it is her voice heard uttering a racial epithet on a voicemail message. “This is terrible,” a female voice is heard saying in the background of the message. “This is terrible. This is gonna be a f—— n—– town.” The racist tirade is allegedly from Marie Burke, a Belleville councilwoman and candidate for mayor, according to the Star-Ledger — the newspaper does not identify Burke as a Democrat in the April 29 article. The Blaze reported that Burke is also an...

**SNIP** But the lack of confidence from her own party set Davis’ team off. "The uninformed opinions of a Washington, D.C., desk jockey who's never stepped foot in Texas couldn't be less relevant to what's actually happening on the ground," Karin Johanson, Davis campaign manager, said in a surprising statement after Shumlin’s slight. Johanson later clarified that the “uninformed Washington, D.C., desk jockey” was meant to describe whoever scripted the party’s talking points on the DGA’s priority campaigns.

The NBA will likely suspend L.A. Clippers owner over his racist remarks and ‘encourage’ him to sell the team—and it’s not inconceivable the sale will earn him a $988 million profit. It’s only going to get worse for embattled Los Angeles Clippers owner Donald Sterling. On Sunday afternoon, Deadspin released a longer version of everyone’s least-favorite lecherous, reptilian, slumlord billionaire airing his so-called thoughts on race to his (presumably now former) girlfriend, V. Stiviano. Feel free to listen to more of this poisonous dreck, if you really need to hear how Dodgers outfielder Matt Kemp gets dragged in, some very...
