Rodrigo Alves has taken part in a glamorous new photoshoot to symbolise her 'rebirth' as a transgender woman. The 36-year-old showed off her new look while wearing a pink semi-sheer embellished bodystocking which showed off her figure in all its glory. Hillary Clinton looked wonderfully youthful at an event on Broadway in New York last night - and aesthetic experts suggest it could be down to regular 'tweakments' and cosmetic procedures. The radiant former First Lady, 72, showed off a wrinkle-free complexion and plumped-up cheeks as she joined her husband Bill behind the scenes of Ain't Too Proud: The Temptations Musical at The Imperial Theatre. Sporting a vibrant pink tunic dress with black trousers and a statement gold necklace, Chicago-born Hillary smiled as she chatted and posed with the cast. Her glowing skin was noticeably smoother and her cheeks more defined...

Two male, liberal columnists this week launched personal attacks against White House press secretary Sarah Sanders. Los Angeles Times columnist David Horsey mocked Sanders’ appearance, saying she “looks more like a slightly chunky soccer mom who organizes snacks for the kids’ games.” “Rather than the fake eyelashes and formal dresses she puts on for news briefings, Sanders seems as if she’d be more comfortable in sweats and running shoes,” Horsey wrote on Wednesday. “Yet, even if Trump privately wishes he had a supermodel for a press secretary, he is lucky to have Sanders.” Another columnist, the New York Times’ Frank...

Kirsten Powers, a regular on Fox News for the past decade, is switching channels. Powers is joining CNN as a political analyst, effective immediately, CNN announced Monday morning. She will continue to write columns for USA Today. Her first appearance will be on "Anderson Cooper 360" Monday night. Powers is the fourth Fox personality hired by CNN in the past 18 months, joining co-host Alisyn Camerota, liberal commentator Bob Beckel and conservative commentator Mary Katharine Ham. The timing of her move is newsworthy because it comes one month after the founding CEO of Fox News, Roger Ailes, resigned under pressure...

On this weekend’s broadcast of “Fox News Sunday,†USA Today columnist Kirsten Powers explained why it was her view that former President Bill Clinton’s past being raised in this presidential campaign could be a problem for Hillary Clinton’s bid. According to Powers, the Bill Cosby situation shows that attitudes across the country have changed about allegations of rape and that could be problematic for Hillary Clinton’s bid. “I think that what was once referred to as Bill Clinton’s bimbo eruptions, which now sounds like something that people wouldn’t say today, are going to become problems for Hillary during the campaign,â€...

USA Today columnist and Fox News Contributor Kirsten Powers argued the Obama administration has “really misjudged Putin,” and “they don’t really have a plan” on Friday’s broadcast of “The Five.” Powers stated, [relevant remarks begin around 11:20] that the Obama administration didn’t want to arm the Syrian rebels, and shouldn’t have before arguing, “the president, his mentality is, he doesn’t want to get into another war. He doesn’t want to be bogged down in the Middle East, and he comes into every situation with that attitude. And so they have really misjudged Putin, I think. They really have misunderstood what he’s...

Bristol Palin took Fox News to task on Monday for looking more like The New York Times than a conservative flag-bearer during the Republican presidential debates last week -- saying she's with mogul Donald Trump on this one. The daughter of former vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin also said conservative author and radio host Erick Erickson was hypocritical for calling Trump sexist. http://www.cnn.com/2015/08/10/politics/bristol-palin-donald-trump-fox-erickson/?iid=ob_article_organicsidebar_expansion&iref=obinsite

Rally in front of Planned Parenthood in Columbia, Mo., on July 28, 2015. Democrats like to talk about the importance of being on the “right side of history.”...Yet when faced with a series of videos detailing grotesque human rights abuses against unborn children by Planned Parenthood doctors, Democratic Party forces have eschewed all concern for historical or moral rightness. Pope Francis has correctly described the unborn as “the most defenseless and innocent among us.” But in the sordid tale of strategic crushing of the unborn to better harvest their hearts, lungs and livers, many Democrats have incredibly cast an...

Columnist and Fox News contributor Kirsten Powers' new book, "The Silencing: How the Left Is Killing Free Speech," links her snugly to the cause of unfettered thought and expression -- important for conservatives, certainly but also for non-conservatives. As it should be for any American, come to think of it, as the "progressive" left pounds and pulverizes anyone of differing mind and purpose. The politicization of almost everything has put at some risk, in the most talkative of ages, the broadly assumed right of First Amendment-cherishing Americans to speak their pieces. "The illiberal left," says Powers, "... believes that people...

I recently had the pleasure of interviewing liberal Kirsten Powers for C-SPAN about her new book, The Silencing: How the Left is Killing Free Speech, which takes on what she calls the “illiberal left” for using bullying, intimidation and political correctness to silence opinions that differ with their own. Really, she is criticizing the unAmerican and unconstitutional trend–whether by liberals or conservatives–to censor all opinions with which they disagree. She has amazing stories of the happenings on college campuses with kids being given “trigger” warnings on books and articles that might offend their sensitivities or give them PTSD by evoking...

RUSH: Now, I mentioned a couple of books. You know, Zev Chafets has written a mini-biography of me in a New York Times Sunday magazine profile of me, and he's also put together a book of conservative commencement addresses. It's based on the fact that conservatives are not asked to give commencement addresses. They just are frozen out. Some have. He's compiled them. He went to a bunch of high-powered conservatives and asked for permission to reprint their commencement addresses. I have not given a major college commencement address. I have at a couple of high schools. He said, "But...

In the latest episode of the American Enterprise Institute’s “Banter” podcast, Fox News regular Kirsten Powers, author of the new book, “The Silencing: How the Left is Killing Free Speech,” took aim at the Obama White House for the efforts it had made early in President Barack Obama’s presidency to delegitimize Fox News.

There’s much talk about free speech, and the right to it. Now comes a major book explaining who and what is eroding this most basic tenet. Out Monday, it’s “The Silencing: How the Left is Killing Free Speech” by Kirsten Powers, a lifelong liberal and daughter of a feminist who converted to Christianity as an adult and is now a frequent contributor to Fox News. She points out that leftist methodology is to simply shut down public debate with the help of a compliant liberal news media and a secular culture — while squawking about tolerance and values. “It’s easier...
