Enraged by the mild deviations from liberal orthodoxy that got James Damore fired from Google, Chanda Prescod-Weinstein, a physics researcher at the University of Washington, is ready to do her part: Prescod-Weinstein takes issue with the contention—related to her by a “well-known scientist”—that “the Google memo failed to constitute hostile behavior because it cited peer-reviewed articles that suggest women have different brains,” arguing that “peer-reviewed” is not synonymous with “correct.”

Brooke “Skylar” Richardson, an Ohio teen, landed in court last week for killing, burning and burying her newborn daughter, birthed a day or two after the school prom in May. She pleaded, “Not Guilty.” No big deal; we’ve been legally killing kids since 1973. If she hadn’t been so distracted preparing for prom, a quick trip to Planned Parenthood the day before would have done the trick with no negative ramifications. What difference does a day make?

A federal prosecutor’s body was discovered on a Hollywood, Florida beach on May 24. He was shot in the head. Beranton J. Whisenant, Jr.’s body was found in May by a random individual. The police were investigating at the time to determine if Whisenant’s death was a “homicide, suicide, or something else.” Whisenant worked for the U.S. Attorney’s Office in Miami in its major crimes unit. He was handling several visa and passport fraud cases in Debbie Wasserman Schultz’s district.

The memo at the heart of the latest blowup at the National Security Council paints a dark picture of media, academics, the “deep state,” and other enemies allegedly working to subvert U.S. President Donald Trump, according to a copy of the document obtained by Foreign Policy. The seven-page document, which eventually landed on the president’s desk, precipitated a crisis that led to the departure of several high-level NSC officials tied to former National Security Advisor Michael Flynn. The author of the memo, Rich Higgins, who was in the strategic planning office at the NSC, was among those recently pushed out.

Recently, Gallup published the results of its annual Values and Beliefs poll. The headline of the report speaks for itself: "Americans Hold Record Liberal Views on Most Moral Issues."
