An Enlightening Twitter Dialogue with an LGBT Activist
Townhall.com ^ | July 9, 2017 | Michael Brown

Posted on 07/09/2017 7:48:49 AM PDT by Mafe

In response to a tweet about my article, “Yes, Gay Activists Are After Your Children,” a woman named Kathryn Brightbill responded, “You're so ridiculously paranoid, why, it's almost like you're projecting the religious right's targeting of children on everyone else.”

Because she had a serious bio, identifying herself as an LGBT “Board member & Leg Policy Analyst,” I decided to engage her. What follows is our Twitter interaction, verbatim.

MLB: When there's a thunder storm, it's not being paranoid to say it's raining. But in candor, your tweet seems like projection to me. So, let's deal with substance. Please point out to me any source that I manufactured in my article. It's all quite accurate.

KB: Says the guy who's part of the religious right, an entire movement centered on turning children like me into foot soldiers for theocracy.

MLB: Actually, I don't work with anyone who wants anything resembling a theocracy, as I've stated time and time again. Does truth matter to you? From your bio here, I'd expect some substantive interaction, not throwing out empty (and false) rhetoric. Show me what I misrepresented. And show me where I have ever in 40+ years of ministry advocated for any kind of theocracy.

Villages were not generationally built by queers, since in the days before “the turkey baster method”, queers did not propogate the species.

The hatred is so thick, it seems demonic.

The GiBLeTs know how to spew hate, don’t they?

KB: Says the guy who's part of the religious right, an entire movement centered on turning children like me into foot soldiers for theocracy.

Meanwhile, in reality land, no Religiously Dogmatic Strawman is required to expose and refute the psychoticaly insane worldview embraced by LBGT activists like "KB":

psy·cho·sis
sīˈkōsəs/
noun
  1. a severe mental disorder in which thought and emotions are so impaired that contact is lost with external reality.
"According to my opinion, and the opinions of many defectors of my caliber, only about 15% of time, money, and manpower is spent on espionage as such. The other 85% is a slow process which we call either ideological subversion, active measures, or psychological warfare. What it basically means is: to change the perception of reality of every American that despite of the abundance of information no one is able to come to sensible conclusions in the interest of defending themselves, their families, their community, and their country.

It's a great brainwashing process which goes very slow and is divided into four basic stages.

The first stage being "demoralization"...

--Soviet Subversion of the Free Press (Ideological subversion, Destabilization, CRISIS - and the KGB)

Very insightful article. Another example of placing your faith in religion, groups, even people you trust and love... That’s going to fail, but Faith in Jesus.. perfect.

It seems like useless bantering - if the minister actually wants to rescue the person, he should be telling that person the importance of God's love and the importance of protecting children.

Instead, it just seems like an indecorous back-and-forth where nobody wins.

Well, one side was engaging. The LGBT Activist was simply firing off final goodbye “so there” insults in almost every tweet.

God works in mysterious ways- the Holy Spirit Listeth where He Will- meaning something said in the conversation may have huge implications down the road somewhere- if not with this woman who appears to be controlled by demons, but by others who may view the conversation and later recall the conversation as God lifts the veil from their eyes

I’ve had similar experiences, which is why I don’t even try to engage with them anymore. They’ve been brainwashed and only repeat discredited talking points. They can’t comprehend new facts or a different point of view. They just resort to insults as a result. It’s the fruits of our leftist controlled school system on full display.

There’s a tactic that I learned from the apologist Frank Turek to find out immediately whether or not someone is open to another perspective. Ask them to give you the benefit of the doubt. For example, I would ask, “If science one day proved that living a homosexual or transgender lifestyle harms a person physically and mentally, would you still support those political movements?”

It’s like asking an abortion activist that if life was proven to begin at conception, would they still support abortion?

If they say yes, you know right away they’re not open and you’re wasting your time.

It’s not just them, it’s any lib. I don’t even try to talk to them anymore. Waste of breath.

I don’t know. I think that the Devil was at work with both respondents and it’s really unclear how a reader looking for a way away from evil would have been inspired towards God by the minister’s responses.

“queers did not propogate the species.”

That’s why it’s so important to the LGTBBQ crowd to normalize recruitment.

That is why, to the day I breath my last, I will hold firm to the belief that they poison the very ground they stand on.

Romans states that even God Himself has given them up to a disapproved mind and left them to dishonor their bodies. So I would argue that engaging them for any other reason than rescuing spectators observing the exchange falls under the rhetorical rule of never wrestling with a pig as you are made filthy by the interaction and you gratify the pig.

Most homosexuals were sexually abused as children and then go after and abuse children.
Break the cycle of abuse.
