(SAPD) Thursday, June 12, at 5:30 p.m. for having tinted windows, which are not legal in Vermont. The incident occurred on Lake Road near Cherry Street at St. Albans Bay. When an Oglala Sioux Tribal police officer used her Taser several times on a man lying helpless on the ground in Manderson on Friday afternoon, she was trying to get the man "to wake up and stand up," Ron Duke, chief of the OST Department of Public Safety, said Monday. The man, Duke said, was "lying on the ground, probably passed out, clearly intoxicated." The incident was caught on camera by a passerby who taped the officer repeatedly zapping the man who appears to never resist, defend himself or make any threatening moves. An expert in Tasers said using the...

When a Black Cop Killed an Innocent White Man in Utah, the Press Was Silent Dean Garrison August 21, 2014 Does the media intentionally stir up racial hatred? Is it part of their agenda? Is it because blacks in Ferguson rioted and looted while whites in Salt Lake City have remained calm? America needs to find answers, because this racial divide is moronic. We are all "Americans," and not "African-Americans," or "Asian-Americans," or "Redneck-Americans," or anything else. We are Americans first, and we need to remember that. It is OK to love and celebrate your heritage. It is not OK...

If you’ve been watching cable news, reading Hollywood celebrities’ tweets, and listening to race-hustling opportunists, you might think that every police officer in America has a finger on the trigger, hunting for any excuse to gun down defenseless youths. This hysterical nonsense must be stopped. The Cirque du Cop-Bashing, with Al Sharpton as ringmaster, is working overtime to exploit the deadly incident in Ferguson, Mo. That means stoking anti–law enforcement fires at all costs. Are there bad cops? Yes. Does the police state go overboard sometimes? Yes. Do the demagogues decrying systemic racism and braying about “assassinations” know what happened...

In a stunning reversal, infamous Cannibal Cop Gilberto Valle will likely have his conviction for a bizarre kidnapping conspiracy scheme overturned on Tuesday after a judge decided to revoke the guilty verdict in the flesh-eating fetish plot, a source said. The disgraced NYPD veteran, who was convicted of hatching a “heinous” plan to cook, kill, and eat several women — including his own wife — was facing life in prison for the crime. But Valle will likely have the major charge of conspiracy overturned and the sentence vacated with only a misdemeanor charge of using police computers to track down...

--snip-- A plan to honor a Harlem cop killed by Nation of Islam radicals is drowning under a flood of racial tensions created more than four decades ago, but no one wants to throw it a lifeline — not even the NYPD’s new top cop. Police Commissioner Bill Bratton is distancing himself from the controversial push to get the street in front of the 28th Precinct renamed in honor of Officer Phillip Cardillo, who was shot and killed inside a mosque run by Louis Farrakhan in 1972 — noting that the community should make the final decision.

Former NYPD detective Bo Dietl told Sean Hannity Al Sharpton’s contention that he did not know he was an FBI informant in the 1980s is “a lot of baloney.” Sharpton fiercely maintained in a press conference earlier today that he was not a “rat” following revelations Sharpton attempted to buy cocaine from an undercover FBI agent. Dietl, speaking Tuesday evening on Fox News, revealed the NYPD had a special nickname for Sharpton after the current MSNBC host became an informant: BO DIETL: There was a lot of involvement with the music industry at that time that Al was involved in....
