The levies, taxes and subsidies associated with the Climate Change Act cost the average British household $415 in 2014 alone, which will rise to an estimated $791 annually by 2020 and $1,110 each year by 2030, according to the report. Citing Pope Francis, the text censures “committed and prayerful Christians” who under the pretext of realism and pragmatism “ridicule expressions of concern for the environment.” The document, titled “The Gift of the Priestly Vocation,” calls on these Christians to undergo an “ecological conversion” so that their faith in Christ will “become evident in their relationship with the world around them.”

Former Vice President Al Gore's 2006 award-winning climate change documentary is getting a sequel that will premiere at the Sundance Film Festival in January, according to The Hollywood Reporter. The follow-up flick will focus on the world's current climate crisis more than 10 years after Gore worked to raise awareness about global warming with the original film.
