A recent survey by the non-partisan Pew Research Center found that a large majority of Americans are skeptical about the prevailing scientific understanding of climate change, with only 27 percent saying they believe there is a consensus that human activity is its main cause.

That belief is at odds with the scientific community, Pew noted, citing a 2013 report from the U.N. Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change that concluded “with 95% certainty that human activity is the dominant cause of observed warming since the mid-20th century.” …

We would need to compile data for the next 5000 years before we could even begin to have any idea.

It’s more likely that Elvis is still alive than AGW being real science.

“...the U.N. Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change that concluded “with 95% certainty that human activity is the dominant cause of observed warming since the mid-20th century.”

The same 95% certainty that Trump would lose. Or was it 100%?

It’s really annoying how they ask these questions. The actual question that 27% affirmed was, “almost all climate scientists agree human behavior is mostly responsible for climate change.” I would’ve actually answered, “yes”, to that question even though I think they’re full of crap.

Generalizing the beliefs of the scientific community on gloBULL warming sounds like more fake news.

Everything you need to know about the climate change agenda was stated quite clearly by the UN's top climate official in 2015:

"This is probably the most difficult task we have ever given ourselves, which is to intentionally transform the economic development model, for the first time in human history.

"This is the first time in the history of mankind that we are setting ourselves the task of intentionally, within a defined period of time to change the economic development model that has been reigning for at least 150 years, since the industrial revolution. That will not happen overnight and it will not happen at a single conference on climate change, be it COP 15, 21, 40 - you choose the number. It just does not occur like that. It is a process, because of the depth of the transformation."
--Christiane Fugueres, Executive Secretary of UNFCCC (United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change)

Politicians need to be disabused of the idea that they can convince the general population that the weather and climate can be controlled by taxation and regulation. Otherwise, there is no hope left for freedom.

Science is not based on consensus

At one time there was a very broad scientific consensus that the earth was flat.

Consensus has nothing to do with science.

There used to be something called "The Scientific Method" that involved first coming up with a falsifiable theory and then tests to determine if the theory can be disproven.

Global cooling was disproven when every global cooling prediction made in the 70s turned out to be false. Global warming was disproven when every global warming prediction made in the late 90s and early 00s turned out to be false.

What to do? Simple. Now we have the entirely unfalsifiable theory of Global Climate Change.™ Is it warmer today than average? It is proof of Global Climate Change.™ Is it colder today than average? It is proof of Global Climate Change.™ Is it wetter, dryer, windier, less windy, cloudier or less cloudy than average? It is proof of Global Climate Change.™ It doesn't matter what the weather happens to be, it is proof of Global Climate Change.™

The only solution is more government regulation and higher taxes.

At one time there was a very broad scientific consensus that the earth was flat.

Heretics that tried to say otherwise had to be punished. Too bad we have gone back to that.

If you dare to doubt the religion of Global Climate Change you are a heretic and have to be punished.

Not about controlling the weather or climate. It is about controlling you and me. They actually prefer extreme climates, because it creates a need for them. In reality though we now can no longer trust them due to their deceptive disingenious nature.
