COLUMBUS, Ohio • A central Ohio principal says she suspended a 10-year-old boy from school for three days for pretending his finger was a gun and pointing it at another student's head. The boy's father says he thinks it's the adults who are acting childish after the boy was suspended from Devonshire Alternative Elementary School in Columbus last week.

(AP) — A former Billings Senior High School teacher who pleaded guilty to raping a 14-year-old student who later killed herself has been sentenced to 30 days in jail by a judge who said the victim was "older than her chronological age" and "as much in control of the situation" as the teacher. CHARLESTON, W.Va. (WSAZ) -- An 8-year-old boy was taken into custody after police say he stabbed his four-year-old sister in the neck. It happened Sunday afternoon at the family's home on Hunt Avenue in Charleston. Police say the boy was stabbing his sister's baby doll with a steak knife. The girl tried to get the doll back, but police say her brother got upset and stabbed her. The girl was taken to the hospital. Her injuries are non-life threatening, but she is being kept overnight for observation.
