  • 'I never thought Trump would win': meet the Americans who chose not to vote

---snip--- David, 31, New Jersey: ‘I regret not voting, I never thought Donald Trump would win’ I would have voted for Hillary Clinton, but I didn’t. I thought she would win the White House. I feel heartbroken for those disenfranchised Americans who voted for Trump, not because of his divisive rhetoric, but in spite of it. Hillary is a genius diplomat, but she proved, once again, to be an ineffectual communicator. She could not reach those desperate to put food back on their table. I used to drive past the front-lawn Trump signs in my town and dismiss the homeowner...
  • After Election, Liberal Finally Admits Sarah Palin Was Right All Along About the Horrible Polls

Pollsters from coast to coast were dead wrong about how the presidential election was going to shake out – with the exception of very few. Most polls showed Hillary Clinton up bigly over Donald Trump, which was pretty much the left’s way of discouraging Republicans from showing up. Almost a suppression of the vote, if you will. Didn’t work out so well. Who knew the polls were a complete joke from the start? That would be 2008 VP candidate and former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin.

If you can watch this entire video without yelling at your monitor you are tougher than we are. Could these women be any more judgmental, nasty, smug or shaming? This is why YOU LOST, Whoopi. This is why the Left is losing, because you talk down to people who disagree with you and until you stop that, Americans are done listening to you.

All: Thanks for responding. Paul, I agree with you, but there is a part of me that believes there might be something we can do. Dan, I agree with some of you your points, mainly the first, which is where I see my effort moving toward. Though, I am not sure how you measure the “corruptness” of the states verses the federal government. I consider the states nothing more than vassals of the federal government, some more than others. Lee, I am serious only to a point. In that I agree with Dan and I see this as first an...

Character actor Michael Shannon recently did an interview with the website Metro News about his new film that's coming out soon, but the interview is getting attention for a different reason. Shannon apparently thinks all Trump supporters should die -- especially the old ones. During the interview, the focus turned to the recent presidential election in which Republican Donald Trump defeated Democrat Hillary Clinton. Shannon could not believe the outcome of the election and told Prigge that he “could use some vengeance right now.” But then, the interview turned into a mutual Trump-bashing party, during which Prigge asked Shannon, “How...

The good Samaritan who shot and killed another man who was brutally beating a Lee County sheriff’s deputy on an Estero, Florida, highway Monday morning now has a new gun thanks to a Fort Myers gun shop. Deputy Dean Bardes initiated a traffic stop after Edward Strother blew past him at a high rate of speed. But when Strother eventually stopped, he exited the vehicle and attacked Bardes, threw him violently to the ground and repeatedly punched him. When the good Samaritan came upon the scene, he stopped his vehicle and exited with his gun drawn. The man warned Strother...
  • Kanye West would have voted for Donald Trump: Twitter reacts

Kanye West didn’t participate in the election earlier this month, but he would have voted for President-elect Donald Trump if he had. The 39-year-old rapper and songwriter told concert-goers in San Jose that he supported the business tycoon and future POTUS on Thursday. “I told y’all I didn’t vote, right?” the “Fade” performer asked the crowd during his performance at the SAP Center. “But, if I would have voted, I would have voted on Trump.” The audience responded with a combination of cheers and boos, but that didn’t stop West. “To black people, stop focusing on racism,” he continued. “It’s...
  • Michelle Obama is Democrats’ best bet for 2020, oddsmakers say

Michelle Obama says she wants nothing to do with politics now, but oddsmakers still say she’s got the best chance of any Democrat of winning the White House in four years. Bovada, an online gambling site, says the odds of Mrs. Obama winning are 12-to-1. The next-best Democrats, Sen. Tim Kaine and Elizabeth Warren, get odds of 14-to-1. By contrast three Republicans have higher odds: President-elect Donald Trump is a 2-to-1 bet to repeat, while Vice President-elect Mike Pence and House Speaker Paul D. Ryan are each given 10-to-1 odds.
  • Republicans Didn't "Steal" Scalia Vacancy

Republicans Didn't "Steal" Scalia Vacancy Thursday, November 17, 2016 Ed Whelan reminds us that Senate Republicans, in refusing to hold hearings on Merrick Garland's nomination to the Supreme Court, were only following the Democrats' advice (emphasis added): I see that some on the Left are now trying to recast their huge political loss on the Scalia vacancy as a claim that Republicans “stole” the Scalia seat. Two observations: 1. The Scalia vacancy never belonged to anyone, so it makes no sense to say that it was stolen. Or is the Left going to go beyond its “obviously fatuous” claim that...

What next for Hillary investigation? Jerome R. Corsi On 11/16/2016 NEW YORK – Since FBI Director James Comey closed the reopened criminal investigation in Hillary Clinton’s handling of classified information two days before the election, the question remains whether or not an investigation would be resumed under the incoming Trump administration. WND has now confirmed with the New York Police Department that in the days leading up to the presidential election on Nov. 8, the FBI terminated the NYPD investigation of Clinton’s emails on former congressman Anthony Weiner’s laptop, demanding that the laptop and all 650,000 State Department emails be...

Throughout the election cycle, many liberal pundits accused president-elect Donald Trump of acting like “literally Hitler” over his policy proposals. Now one social justice activist is comparing Trump to Hitler--because of a gesture of good faith. Following the “60 Minutes” interview in which Trump said he would not accept the president’s salary, Parker Molloy, a transgender writer at Upworthy, tweeted this means Trump is taking a page “literally out of Hitler’s playbook”:

Although America’s reaction towards Donald Trump’s presidential win wasn’t exactly harmonious, it looks like Asian countries like Japan are more than willing to welcome them with open arms. According to a report from RocketNews24, Japanese netizens are surprisingly happy with the prospect of having Ivanka Trump as the next ambassador to Japan. Let it be known that U.S. President-elect Donald Trump’s 35-year-old daughter has no prior experience to politics aside from what she has experienced during her father’s campaign period that lasted several months. Like her billionaire father, Ivanka spends the majority of her time running the family business after...

The founder of Moms Demand Action for Gun Sense in America says she’s done wallowing in disappointment following Donald Trump’s victory last week. “So many women and activists had hoped to elect the first female president – a gun sense champion – to the White House,” wrote Shannon Watts in a piece for the Huffington Post. But she says her husband reminded her that gun violence prevention isn’t hinged on the outcome of a single election. Watts founded Moms Demand Action four years ago in the wake of the Sandy Hook Elementary School shooting. “I – along with millions...

Some banks are too big to fail, whether we like it or not. We learned this in the Great Depression, when bank failures transformed an otherwise ordinary recession into a decade-long economic cataclysm that didn't end until World War II. http://www.fool.com/investing/general/2016/01/31/these-8-banks-are-too-big-to-fail.aspx
