Empire America is on the verge of collapse. Its social, economic and political systems are failed and failing, observes Trends Research Institute Director, Gerald Celente, in the Summer Trends Journal. “The measures taken by successive governments to save the politically corrupt, morally bankrupt, physically decrepit giant from collapse have served to only hasten its demise. While the decline has been decades in the making, the acceleration of ruinous policies under the current Administration is leading the United States — and much of the world — to the point of no return,” says Celente. The “green shoots” sighted by Field Marshall Bernanke...

It’s the end of the world as the Greater Depression hits after 2010’s failed “W-recovery” Human Events had the opportunity to interview forecaster extraordinaire Gerald Celente, President of Trends Research Institute, several days ago -- and the future he predicts looks bleak indeed. In fact, as Mr. Celente sees it, the Great Depression will seem like a mild recession as what waits for us in 2011 hits with the force of a Katrina financial hurricane. In case you’re wondering who Mr. Celente is (if this is still possible), he’s appeared -- along with his predictions -- on Oprah, CNBC, Reuters,...

Trend forecaster Gerald Celente has been getting a lot of attention lately. He has a pretty good track record, having predicted the crash of '87, the rise of Starbucks, the bail out frenzy, among others. Now he's forecasting a super-depression come 2012. I first came across Mr. Celente's doomsday predictions a few months back. In November I did a post that challenged his predictions. I agreed that we had serious problems, but I was much more confident that we would recognize and reverse the situation before it got ridiculous. Now, I'm beginning to think Mr. Celente's predictions of total financial...

People need to hang up their Hope and start learning how to SURVIVE. Those who fail to do this will reap the consequences later. Wake up and pay attention. I am just a normal everyday person and I can see what is happening to our nation, to our societies, our families and our economy. The writing is on the wall and most people are still trying to pretend like we are in a recession that the government will fix. That the GOVERNMENT will fix! They don’t know WHAT they are doing – they got us into this mess and we...

Gerald Celente: "Worst economic collapse ever" Gerald Celente - one of the world's foremost leaders in trends forecasting interviewed by Marina Portnaya, a Russia Today journalist. "In 2009 were going to see the worst economic collapse ever, the Greatest Depression", says Gerald Celente. He believes it's going to be very violent in the U.S. and our future will include a tax revolt. Apologies for the mediocre, out-of-sync audio, but overall the message is well worth it. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9nJ7LM3iyNg

LISTEN TO JOHN AND KEN ONLINE Yes, Celente has made some bad predictions (particularly about the war in Iraq) but it is important to at least listen to him on the economy. I hope he's wrong, but what he is saying seems to make a lot of sense. I taught real estate law and econ for 10 years. We are in a real estate cycle like nothing I've seen in my lifetime. Celente is right about commercial property. What we are going to see next year is an economic tsunami.

LISTEN TO JOHN AND KEN ON KFI I've heard Gerald Celente many times. He has been predicting what we are watching unfolding. People really do not realize how bad things are.

SINGAPORE, Nov. 21 (UPI) -- Although political forecasting and economic prognostication have long made astrology look respectable, there is still a latter-day Nostradamus who has defied the odds. "If Nostradamus were alive today," said the New York Post, "he'd have a hard time keeping up with Gerald Celente" -- the man who tracks the world's social, economic and business trends for corporate clients.

Celente has been very accurate in the past, and predicts a Revolution, food shortage, the USA becoming an undeveloped country, and even more depressing goodness. Being unbiased, and his record of accuracy makes this forecast frightening.
