  • Author: Hillary flooded Amazon with negative reviews of my book

The political consultant’s new book, “The Clintons’ War on Women,” is the top-rated political history seller on Amazon, but the online retailer was flooded last week with one-star reviews. “My publisher [Skyhorse] confirmed with Amazon — they were all from the same URL, at Hillary’s HQ in Brooklyn,” Stone — whose clients have included Richard Nixon, Ronald Reagan and Donald Trump — told me. “Why are they so afraid of this book?”

A gun lover who has lost two members of his family to shootings has destroyed his own weapon after the deadly rampage carried out by Chris Harper-Mercer, which left nine dead. Steve Elliott, from Merced in California, posted an emotional blog post on Facebook about how he had used an angle grinder to break up his handgun and admitted that he was left 'ashamed' it took this latest gun atrocity for him to act. Elliot, who is in his 50s and who has owned a gun since he was 12-years old, had previously been by his own admission a vocal...
  • The Trump Effect

Today something very interesting happened, something that made me go hmm... and then burst out laughing. I’ve decided to call it “The Trump Effect." In a nutshell, on the show “The View,” Kelly Osbourne said: “If you kick every Latino out of this country, then who is going to be cleaning your toilet Donald Trump?” And then the rest of the feminists on the show tried to cover up her faux pas, followed by Ms. Osbourne doing the typical after-show liberal weeping mea culpa crap, and then everyone just "forgetting" it ever happened. And, of course, everything on TV is...
  • Angel's Glow: The Bacterium that Saved Civil War Soldiers

As the sun went down after the 1862 Battle of Shiloh during the Civil War, some soldiers noticed that their wounds were glowing a faint blue. Many men waited on the rainy, muddy Tennessee battlefield for two days that April, until medics could treat them. Once they were taken to field hospitals, the troops with glowing wounds were more likely to survive their injuries — and to get better faster. Thus the mysterious blue light was dubbed “Angel’s Glow.” In 2001, 17-year-old Civil War buff Bill Martin visited the Shiloh battlefield with his family and heard the legend of Angel’s...
  • The First White Laser

    IEEE Spectrum ^ | 27 Jul 2015 | Charles Q. Choi
Scientists and engineers at Arizona State University, in Tempe, have created the first lasers that can shine light over the full spectrum of visible colors. The device’s inventors suggest the laser could find use in video displays, solid-state lighting, and a laser-based version of Wi-Fi. Although previous research has created red, blue, green and other lasers, each of these lasers usually only emitted one color of light. Creating a monolithic structure capable of emitting red, green, and blue all at once has proven difficult because it requires combining very different semiconductors. Growing such mismatched crystals right next to each other...

John Kass: I'm certain Dr. Nucatola doesn't consider herself to be evil. Perhaps you don't either. But I do. --- When we think of evil, we think of something violent or demonic, something filled with hatred and wretchedly hungry to devour the good. But what if evil eats a salad at lunch and is polite, speaking rationally with nice table manners? I've just seen a video where evil casually spears lettuce on a fork and calmly, scientifically, discusses the market for the body parts of aborted fetuses, while sipping a glass of wine. "I'd say a lot of people want...
  • Southwest Airlines : NTSB expected to investigate close call at Midway

Confusion over similar-sounding flight numbers is under investigation as the cause of a close call between two airliners taking off on intersecting runways at Midway Airport, an aviation source said Wednesday. A Southwest Airlines plane, Flight 3828, was cleared for takeoff on runway 31 Center on Tuesday night, according to the Federal Aviation Administration. As Flight 3828 began its takeoff roll, Delta Air Lines Flight 1328 also began rolling on runway 4 Right without clearance from the Midway tower, according to the preliminary FAA investigation. Both planes were operating at full takeoff power, which is standard procedure on the Southwest...

What do we all know about every single politician? That they are corrupt. I know, every once in awhile we come across one that we feel good about. But then we do background research and find this or that, and we shrug and say, “yeah, well, politics is a dirty business, you’ve got to take the best you can get.” And it’s true, politics IS a dirty business. You need money and influence to run and get elected, and money and influence aren’t free. Specifically, they want payback, and lots of it. So principled politicians try to show that their...
  • The Cultural Appropriation Defense for Christians

    04/25/2015 2:49:29 PM PDT · by Talisker · 3 replies
According to Wiki, “cultural appropriation is the adoption of an oppressed people's cultural elements by members of the dominant culture, or by members of any culture that has historically oppressed the peoples of the originating culture. Appropriation may eventually lead to the appropriating group being seen as the new face of said cultural practices. As oppressed peoples' cultures are mimicked by the dominant culture, observers may begin to falsely associate certain cultural practices with the mimicker, and not with the people who originated them. This is often seen in the use by cultural outsiders of a minority, oppressed culture's symbols...
  • Christians Need to Reject the Legalization of Christianity

As everyone knows, this past week crossed a Rubicon for the violation of religious rights in America. In obedience to a multimillionaire CEO oligarch’s homosexual identification and his threat of economic warfare, the governors of two States refused to sign legislation that was developed by the people of their States, according to Constitutional procedures, which would have allowed access to a defense before the Courts for Christians who are demanded to violate their religious beliefs in their workplace by homosexuals. So extreme and egregious is this violation of religious rights that the media - in the Net, in print and...
  • Is Tim Cook Wagging Hillary’s Dog?

Something in Tim Cook’s screed caught my eye as highly unusual - and no, I don’t mean what he’s calling his “stand.” Rather, it’s this line: “...on behalf of Apple, I’m standing up to oppose this new wave of legislation — wherever it emerges.” On behalf of Apple? Really, Tim? Tim Cook is the CEO of a rather large multinational corporation, with assets pushing the three-quarter trillion dollar mark. CEO’s generally, and oligarchical CEO’s of corporate nation-states especially, do not shoot their mouths off “on behalf” of the company. Their lawyers, for one, start twitching at the very mention of...

John 16:7-15 Nevertheless I tell you the truth: It is expedient for you that I go away; for if I go not away, the Comforter will not come unto you; but if I go, I will send him unto you. And he, when he is come, will convict the world in respect of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment: of sin, because they believe not on me; of righteousness, because I go to the Father, and ye behold me no more; of judgment, because the prince of this world hath been judged. I have yet many things to say...

In the Middle Ages, there was a generally honored convention whereby criminals and political offenders could claim the Right of Sanctuary in a Church. Actually it’s an ancient tradition, up through the time of Henry the VIII, every civilization had places of Sanctuary. We have one, too. It’s called the United Nations. The laws are long and complex, and have all sorts of requirements. You can read a little more about it in this UN publication: Convention on the Privileges and Immunities of the United Nations. But generally speaking, you have to be on UN ground, and you have to...

I’ve read the replies on other threads about the subject of who or what a “real” Christian is, and there are some issues I believe have presented themselves as a result of these discussions that have a great deal to do with what is happening in America today. The main thing I’ve noticed is that there doesn’t seem to be a generic Christian. Not only do people who call themselves Christians not believe those who think differently than them on the subject are actually Christians, they also think those people are going to go to hell, forever, because of the...

As I’ve mentioned before, the laws requiring Christians to do things like bake wedding cakes or do photography for homosexual weddings are corporate laws. That’s how these laws are implemented - corporations have privileges granted by the State for the benefit of the State, as the State sees fit. So if Christians sue, what they have to argue before the Court is how it benefits the State to allow their incorporated business to not do work for homosexual marriage. That’s the legal reality. That’s not my opinion, that’s what the Courts are actually ruling on. Given that, there is a...
