Are you talking about the fraud from Karl Rove and Dick Morris? Their projections were absolutely dead wrong and they damn well knew it. We were duped and that is why I am pissed.

We should be asked ourselves what is going on, instead of listening to the rant about Stalinists. Oh please.

I posted polls here before the election. I laid out that the race was tight, with Obama leading in most of the important swing states. I was worried because Fox seemed to be selling us a bill of goods from the planet Rainbow Unicorn.

I am pissed as hell. I’m still not back at work. I’m depressed, but hell if I’m going to give into insanity and inventing bullshit realities that do not exist. We all laughed our asses off at the libs who were afraid that Bush was going to cart them off to FEMA camps. Now, we’re saying worse.

We lost. Let’s grieve. Let’s avoid going off the deep end and sounding like ignorant fools. I’m sorry. I support everyone here. This is an awful time, but we go to the dark side when he buy into bizarre theories that paralyze us. Maybe that’s what the left wants...a bunch of paralyzed, fearing fools.

I won’t give that to them and you shouldn’t either!

I don’t think there was massive fraud either. Plenty of polls, in fact the majority of the polls, showed Obama up in most swing states. We focused on the polls that we liked. It didn’t help that Dick Morris and Rove fed us a pile of dung.

Look, we are all depressed and frustrated today. I skipped work. However, this article, which suggests that we are going to be rounded up and killed, is ridiculous. Let’s be rational. Pundits and writers do us no favors by fear mongering. This is a democracy. We lose sometimes. We win sometimes. The liberals lost everything during the Gingrich Revolution, and after Bush was elected twice. They’ve never recovered. We do still have the House.

Let’s grieve, stick together and commiserate. We will get through this, but reading and buying into paranoid slop will only weaken us.

  • Early voting results 2012: AP reports latest figures from Ohio, Florida

Those deficits do look bad for Romney. But please keep in mind that Dems always have an advantage in early voting. This is not unusual and no cause for alarm.

These numbers are valid. I live in Iowa in these numbers are correct. Our awesome Republican Sec of State released those numbers. AP and others have reported on our numbers, as well as those early voting numbers from the other states. Please remember— They are early voting numbers-—not numbers from voting today! That is key.

My biggest takeaway from these numbers—we have Colorado. Since Dems always have an early voting advantage, it is highly unlikely that Dems will catch up. So, we should be celebrating. Also, we can catch up in those other states—Iowa, NC, etc. so please think positive.

That’s what is so unnerving. I won’t even go over there today. They are convinced that Obama will win, hands down. However, we are just as convinced as they are, that Romney will win. I don’t think anyone is bluffing. America is divided and each side seems to have polls, opinions and evidence to support the notion that their guy will win.

However, only one candidate can win. It’s a very close race. If you map out the race, as I have—nine key toss ups will decide this thing. No one knows yet what will happen. WI, MI, IA, VA, FL, OH, CO, NH, PA and NV is where it’s at.

Bottom line—we stay positive, vote and volunteer today. Quit ruminating. And for Pete’s sake, stay off of Dem sites. Why do that to yourself? Drive someone to the polls. Make some calls. Turn your vote into ten votes by driving people to the polls who otherwise would not vote. Go Romney!

The reason that I have been phone-banking, canvassing and holding down the fort in our local Romney office—is that I am so stressed.

I seriously don’t think we will know until election night. I look at all of the polls. I read their methodology and throw out the ridiculous ones. The state polls are the only thing that matters. The national polls mean nothing at this point.

I don’t think we know. It’s too close. I’ve played with the election maps hundreds of times. I wish I could be more certain. A lot of the state polls don’t look so hot for Romney, but the left clearly doesn’t have the enthusiasm that we have. There are too many states that are true toss ups. However, here are some of my guesses:

Romney state wins: CO, VA, FL, NC
Obama state wins: IA, NV, MI, WI, PA, MN
    Toss Ups: OH, NH

However, nothing is certain! Any of those states in the Romney column or in the Obama column could flip. I think the lean Obama states are more likely to flip for Romney. Romney’s leads seem solid, and Obama’s seem more fluid.

I know what I want—Romney with a landslide and Obama kicked back to Chi. However, what I want doesn’t matter.

Just vote and take others with you...we’ve got 36 hours until we know for sure.

It is quite maddening. Not only do we eat different chicken, we pay attention to different polls and live in alternate universes.

I don’t know about anyone else, but I’m sick of it. I can ignore the Dems on average days. However, we have a Presidential election in 48 hours. I’d like answers. I’d like truth. I don’t want these warped polls. You’re right—the leftists are convinced that Obama will win in a landslide. Have you checked out those crazy sites lately? They’re all ready popping the champagne corks.

Idiots. I really will be glad when this election is over. I’m going to canvass all day tomorrow for Romney and keep my mind off of the lunacy. That way, when we win on Tues, I’ll be much more relaxed.

I’ll say. What’s with the onslaught of polls that have Obama up. We get it...MSM, you want us to believe that Obama is going to win. How original of you.

The MSM is so pathetic. I believe Karl Rove and Barone before I believe all of these polls that are skewed to benefit Democrats.

The truth shall be revealed on Tuesday. Frankly, I can’t wait because I’m tired of the games. Please vote and take friends and neighbors with you. Call your neighbors and ask them if they want a ride! We’ve got the enthusiasm, the Dems don’t. We just need to transfer that enthusiasm into votes for Romney!

I think, at this point, everyone is on edge. Everyone is worried. This is the most important presidential election in our lifetimes. If we don’t return Obama and the rest of his circus back to Chicago, I don’t think this country survives.

The problem is that we want answers now. Because there is so much at stake. We can look at polls but we won’t know a damn thing until election night. That’s the reality. Sorry to break it to everyone. National polls don’t mean a thing now. The only thing that matters is state polls in those key swing states. I don’t think FL, NC and CO are swing states any longer. They are going to Romney.

OH, PA, NH, WI, MI, IA, VA, and NV is where this game is at. Both sides spin their numbers—who is ahead with women, with Independents, with Hispanics, etc. That’s just slicing and dicing. It’s all about the outcome in those key states—for good or for bad. That’s what it is.

I think Rasmussen is highly reliable. I also think there are other polls that are reliable as well. I look at all of the polls, because I want to know all of the angles, even if I know some of the polls are bunk. The problem is—we won’t know for four days and it’s a nightmare waiting. So, we look to the polls for certainty—and we just aren’t going to get it. Hell, the campaigns know their own internal polling may not tell the whole picture.

Just make sure you vote. Volunteer and take people to the polls. Take friends and neighbors. Contact your local Republican party and ask where they need help. At this point, the only thing that matters is GOTV. Worrying won’t do anything, but driving a few people to the polls to vote for Romney could make the difference.

Hang in there everyone. We can do this.

I don’t think this storm will help Obama. People expect Presidents to deal with disasters. Nothing groundbreaking here.

When it comes to voters, I think the jobs report will weigh more heavily, as it affects the entire nation, and is a central issue t this presidential campaign.

Any idiot can look into a camera and say, “Gee, that was a lot of rain.”

Not every president can create jobs, and so far the jobs numbers haven’t been decent.

I agree that the national polls give general information. And if Romney trends upward in these polls, that is certainly newsworthy and encouraging. However, it’s all about the state polls at this point. Ohio, Iowa, Colorado, Florida, PA, Virginia, NC, Nevada, Wisconsin, NH and Michigan. This is where the race is.

Romney has advantage in these states: Colorado, Florida, Virginia, NC
Obama has advantage is these states: Ohio, Iowa, PA, Nevada, Wisc, Mich
    Toss up: NH

So, GOTV is what it comes down to now. The campaign that gets their voters to the polls in these close states—wins. Hands down. So, volunteer, drive people to the polls, take friends and neighbors with you. It matters.

The problem with this is: Romney could have hit harder. The fact is, that Obama did say “terrorist attacks” in his Rose Garden speech when he addressed the Benghazi murders.

Now, the waters are muddy when we were making headway.

This will definitely be addressed in the next debate, which is all about foreign policy

I’m reading about this whole debacle and I can’t believe it. Most Republicans reject what Akin said and want him out. Why didn’t Missourians listen to Palin and go with Sarah Steeleman?

It looks like the media will have a lot of fun this week. Apparently, Ryan co-authored legislation with Akin. This legislation caused a firestorm and narrowed the definition of cases where Medicaid could be used to fund abortions. Ryan and Akin came up with a new term “forcible rape” and the legislation specified that only cases of “forcible rape” would be allowed abortions that were Medicaid funded.

I remember this debate. It did not go well. Ryan co-sponsored this bill with Akin. Am I having a nightmare? The corrupt media will spend weeks on this. The answers aren’t always easy, but they take more than a soundbyte. The media will be lobbing soundbyte grendades at Republicans all week and connecting Ryan with Akin, because of this legislation.

Here goes the media, giving Obama exactly what he wants, more distractions that help him avoid talking about the economy.
