I have a perplexion. I need to move my lovely Windows 7 to a new laptop running the evil Windows 10. There are all sort of solutions claiming to be the easiest quickest fastus (sic) way to migrate to the new machine. I could rack my brain and make a large partition on the new machine and load a bootable system image, Leaving space for maybe a linux dist for the other. Who has done similar and what software did you use?

An Indonesian militant accused of helping to build a massive car bomb used in the deadly 2002 Bali nightclub attacks has been sentenced to 20 years in prison. Known as "Demolition Man," Patek is a leading member of the al-Qaida-linked network Jemaah Islamiyah. He was found guilty by the West Jakarta District Court of violating the country's harsh anti-terror law. In Thursday's ruling, the five-member judge panel also convicted 45-year-old Patek for his role in Jakarta church attacks on Christmas Eve in 2000 that killed 19. Danau Poso 99X, Sanur. The area is known as one of the most famous red-light districts in Bali, where people can easily obtain a cheap room from staff at budget hotels who rarely ask for valid identification from their guests. THE remains of notorious bushranger Ned Kelly have been found at the former Melbourne prison, Pentridge. An exhaustive 20-month search through historical and genetic records has unearthed one of the most colourful chapters in Australian history, and a man who Attorney-General Robert Clark this morning called "one of the most controversial characters" in our national identity. A DNA sample from Kelly's sister's great grandson, Leigh Oliver, confirmed the remains were those of the bushranger. Doctors and scientists at the Victorian Institute of Forensic Medicine identified the body. Kelly's remains have long been rumoured to be at Pentridge. Attorney General Robert...

An alleged mastermind of the 2002 Bali bombings was extradited from Pakistan to Indonesia on Thursday, after his arrest in the town where Osama bin Laden was killed, a security official said. Indonesia’s counter-terrorism agency chief Ansyaad Mbai confirmed that Umar Patek had arrived under tight security after an overnight flight from Pakistan, and ahead of an expected trial on terrorism-related charges. “He’s been detained at a detention facility… He’s a very important suspect. It’s hard to rank him but you can say he’s a big fish,” Mbai said. Patek is expected to face trial over attacks including the Bali...

A STRUGGLING gym in northern Spain hopes to entice new customers by offering nudist workout sessions, making it the first in the country to target naturists looking to get into shape. Liberal-minded customers in the northern town of Arrigorriaga are invited to burn calories in the buff at Easy Gym, which provides towels for comfort and to "prevent slippage on the equipment." "We knew we had to innovate because we were losing clients," said Easy Gym owner Merche Laseca. "Times are hard. There is a crisis. I need the money. I am not a nudist myself, but I don't mind...

BAR staff at the Humpty Doo Hotel got a surprise on New Year's Eve when a patron rode a horse into the pub and ordered a beer. Riding bareback and wearing no more than shorts and a pair of thongs, Trevor Yeend steered horse Elvis through the crowd and went straight for the bar. The 48-year-old jockey said it was easier to ride to the bar than walk. "I think people were a bit stunned," he said. "But it was just another night at the Humpty Doo pub I guess." Newsbreaker Dave Grant snapped a photo of Mr Yeend and...

What do NASA techies do with their spare time? They make rock-n-roll videos. Not the big-hair, booty-shaking, smoke-and-fire kind. They help make rock videos that would make their daytime colleagues proud or jealous, or both. The rock band OK Go prides itself on creative visual expressions of their music, and they wanted an extra dose of gee-whiz fun for their new song "This Too Shall Pass." In the winter of 2010, the group enlisted the help of Syyn Labs -- a self-described "group of creative engineers who twist together art and technology." The Syyn Labs fraternity included (or ensnared) four...
