The Senate is set to vote Saturday night, right before the holiday, on a motion to proceed on its latest health care government take-over bill. Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid is pushing for yet another weekend vote (commonplace now for the party of “transparency”) because he knows that the American people will be none too happy about the Democrats’ proposal the longer they have to look it over. A vote against the Democrats’ motion will help stop Obamacare before it gets any closer to becoming a reality. While this Saturday night vote might seem like a procedural matter, at the...

Now this doesn't mean there were some legit people who were upset about not getting to meet Sarah Palin, but this article is quite interesting.. Since the AP has 11 fact checkers to pore over Sarah Palin's book, I figured I could be one fact checker looking into the allegations about angry protesters at her book signing in Noblesville, IN. The liberal bloggers are going crazy over a video that purports to show a crowd angry because they couldn't get their books signed at an event in Noblesville. So I did some research and this is what I came up...

Former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee tells Newsmax that some of his fellow Republicans are calling him a RINO for defending President Barack Obama against personal criticism. “So be it. It is total hypocrisy for us [Republicans] to rail at the way Bush was treated, and then do the exact same thing. It's disgusting,” Huckabee said of those who have labeled him as Republican in Name Only. “I care about issues and will fight on those, but just because someone doesn't think like me doesn't mean that he or she hates America.” Speaking at a meeting of the Hudson Union Society...

Tuesday, November 17, 2009 Palin on Nidal Hasan: "Profile Away" I spoke to Governor Palin by phone this afternoon. Lots of interesting material, but to me the most interesting takeaways were the following: 1) I asked about Palin's upcoming visit to Ft. Hood. "We had planned on that before the tragedy struck," she said. She commented on the trail of evidence linking the alleged Ft. Hood shooter, Maj. Nidal Hasan, to militant Islam. "There were such clear, obvious, massive warning signs that were missed," she said. "This terrorist, even having business cards" that identified him as an "SoA" or soldier...

I posted this on another thread but since some have responded to it, I Figured I would create its own thread. You all gotta check out this video. Is Chris Matthews finally getting it, or is he just being his usual flip-flopping self.

The reason why I am asking is because I post on Conservatives4Palin.com, and these two trolls who post there constantly are just evil, deranged individuals. I'd like to find out who they are(or most likely they are the same person) unfortunately the site has not been able to IP block them, but if there is a way for me to find out their IP address to scare them off once and for all that would be great. They post the most hateful(Huffington Post kind of crap)

Todd and I would like to offer our best wishes to the Jewish community as they celebrate the High Holy Days. With the celebration of the Jewish New Year this week and the observance of the Day of Atonement next week, we are reminded of the hopeful commitment to renewal and peace exemplified by the Jewish tradition and the Jewish people throughout history. Yom Kippur, the most solemn and important of the Jewish holy days, is a time of reflection and supplication for forgiveness. The timeless human struggle to promote justice, harmony, and peace is seen here in this process...

After all the rhetoric is put aside, one principle ran through President Obama’s speech tonight: that increased government involvement in health care can solve its problems. Many Americans fundamentally disagree with this idea. We know from long experience that the creation of a massive new bureaucracy will not provide us with “more stability and security,” but just the opposite. It's hard to believe the President when he says that this time he and his team of bureaucrats have finally figured out how to do things right if only we’ll take them at their word. Our objections to the Democrats’ health...

I'm posting this because I want you all to see what kind of RINO garbage we have on our side. Sarah busted her ass for this guy, got him elected, now he is distancing himself from her ========================================================= News 12 at six o'clock, August 26, 2009 AUGUSTA,Ga---Dozens gathered at the Augusta Museum of History for a chamber of commerce forum on health care reform with Senator Saxby Chambliss. Chambliss attempted to set the record straight on what he calls misinformation. "Say goodbye," said Susan Swanson who is fed up with Washington lawmakers. "Kick out the bums. Kick them all out."...

Today's Wall Street Journal contains some puzzling news for all Americans who are impacted by high energy prices and who share the goal of moving us toward energy independence. For years, states rich with an abundance of oil and natural gas have been begging Washington, DC politicians for the right to develop their own natural resources on federal lands and off shore. Such development would mean good paying jobs here in the United States (with health benefits) and the resulting royalties and taxes would provide money for federal coffers that would potentially off-set the need for higher income taxes, reduce...

Concerning the "Death Panels" Share Today at 8:55pm Yesterday President Obama responded to my statement that Democratic health care proposals would lead to rationed care; that the sick, the elderly, and the disabled would suffer the most under such rationing; and that under such a system these “unproductive” members of society could face the prospect of government bureaucrats determining whether they deserve health care. The President made light of these concerns. He said: “Let me just be specific about some things that I’ve been hearing lately that we just need to dispose of here. The rumor that’s been circulating a...

Apparently these bloggers are using the Palin method now on Michelle Bachmann, what has to be done to stop this.. Three Minnesota bloggers filed an ethics complaint against Rep. Michele Bachmann this week, claiming the Republican violated House franking rules in an email to constituents. Dusty Trice, Brian Falldin, and Aaron Landry asked the House Office of Congressional Ethics to investigate the alleged violation in a May 26 email. The bloggers say Bachmann advocated for the National Automobile Dealers Association, which is a political organization. They say that violates House franking rules, which stipulate that members can only refer readers...

No wonder Ed is always smiling. Just another Dem who can't keep his pecker in his pants.. Man, Ed Rendell is so screwed -- literally. I don't normally listen to Opie & Anthony looking for breaking news, but astonishingly that's what I just got. A few minutes ago, the cast of the show on Sirius XM radio were interviewing Kristin Davis -- not the one from Sex and the City, the former Manhattan Madam who spent four months in Rikers in connection with the Eliot Spitzer hooker scandal from last year. There's been quite a bit of speculation that her...

I was thinking about this last night and thought it would be a great idea. After July 26th, Sarah is officially a private citizen. She can travel wherever she wants, and visit whatever web sites she wants without worrying about the anklebiters, so I was thinking, why not ask her to join this great site. I am not sure if she is aware of this site, but I think if she were to join it, she can get a better idea of what Conservatives and Republicans are thinking about right now. She can get ideas on how to improve the...

Some of you may not agree with Tammy Bruce, but she gave a great analogy of Sarah's statements today in the Washington Times. Check it out

What an amazing human being. She cares about this country so much..Check out what she did at the bottom, that outta piss off the libs Operation Military Care K-9 is a program that reaches out to military K-9 teams deployed in the Middle East. Both the dogs and their handlers are recipients of care packages thanks to the effort, which was organized by Beth White, a teacher at Henderson High School in South Carolina. If this doesn't show you all how low Meghan McCain has gone..check this out.. Meghan McCain Gives Rave Review to Eminem's Video Depicting Sex with Faux Sarah Palin Okay, I had wanted to stay away from further focus on the Twitter exploits of Meghan McCain, the daughter of the 2008 presidential candidate. But sometimes you just can't tear your eyes away. The latest Tweet from McCain: "I used to have the hugest crush on Eminem when I was in high school and he still looks hot in his new music video!!" This would be, presumably, the music video in which...
