ACORN did its best to slip unauthorized charges to my account. They were small amounts, one was for 5.00, one was for 10.00 and the pending charge was for 18.91.

By charging such small potato's I imagine they think they're flying just under the radar. If the bank doesn't 'charge off' the charge for 28.91, I'm seriously considering contacting the FBI. (or the SS depending on which entity the fraud falls under.

While I'm pretty confident Camp David gives Hussein the same access and enables him to keep his finger in the government pie,I believe he uses it as a vacation spot instead of the second White House.

Personally, I tend to believe he only uses it as a vacation spot. Think about it...This is a president known to vote present during any type of crisis. Even though he has the exact same access to info at Camp David as he does at the WH, it still provides him with the opportunity for a vacation as well as a way to provide excuses since he was so isolated way off in the country at Camp David.

Isn't it wonderful we have such a great (mentally/emotionally)leader in charge especially during a crisis.

Just out of my own curiousity, I wonder what exactly he's sacrificed in support of our troops over in Iraq and Afghanistan.

President Bush on the other hand gave up golf (and there may be other things he gave up). While our military fought, lost lives and suffered severe injuries, Nero fiddled as Rome burned.

Isn’t Sarah Palin a truther too? I’ve heard her say she’s for a re-investigation of 9/11 and she’s a Perry supporter as well.

Are you on some type of drug or something? Otherwise where in the world would you even entertain the idea Sarah Palin is a truther? Also, please explain what re-investigation she might be interested in concerning September 11th?

Why wouldn't she be a Perry supporter? Out of all of the R candidates such as Hutchison and Medina, you'd have a problem with her support of Perry? Perry has gotten behind the tea party on more than one occasion. Remember, he did bring up Texas's right to secede.

Why didn't you do a little research before coming online and posting one of the most idiotic posts I've seen in a while.

Typical post and run type. You cherry pick articles, post them here on FR and never bother to come back to the thread you started.

You do understand you're exhibiting a lack of ettiquette when you don't state your position or even bother to check back on any thread you've started.

What game are you playing? Even with the articles you've posted we have no idea what your opinions, thoughts, and/or possible solutions might be. Copy/paste are cute and at times necessary to continue with a conversation to a specific poster or excerpt an article. Copy/paste really shouldn't be used for the sole purpose of posting an aricle and then not having the courtesy to respond to your own thread.

    You bore me.

  • Whaling protester to be charged in Japan

Give me a break. The indians in Alaska and Canada have hunted whales since before Columbus and continue to do so.

They do so by special permission which may involve a permit. They also are limited on the number they may catch. They were given a grandfather clause because whale hunting was a major part of their culture and cuisine.

In the meantime the Japanese signed a treaty to limit their whaling and are supposed to be able to only kill whales for research. They misuse the research clause and are killing whales for reasons other than research. This allows them to circumvent the number they agreed upon. From what I've read whale meat is falling out of favor in Japan.

I don't particularlly agree with the protestor's methods because it endangers not only the protestors but also the Japanese crews.

One thing can be said though. While I think the protestors are idiots, they at least are willing to die for their cause. It may come a day when we want people on our side who are as willing to give up all in order to save our Republic.

Personally, I find that degenerate, vile, disgusting, homosexual conduct, attributed to us by every far left wing commentator (and even many mainstream) to be highly offensive and disconcerting, which is no doubt why they use it.

As much as I've tried to come up with something appropriately similar to attack to the leftist moonbats, I've not been successful, at least nothing that would withstand the censors on any blog or site (including this one)and not cause an uproar.

If anyone can thinks of something, please do not hesitate to share your moment of genius with us all. lol

PS: I'm in agreement that someone should challenge this as bigoted hate speech and see where it goes, which I realize, will be not far!

I won't give anyone the satisfaction of letting them know I'm even aware of their bastardization of the word teabagger. It only disgusts me and offends if I allow them to define what the word means.

I had to turn the TV off!!!

I'm glad there are FReepers who are willing to listen and report back on Obama's television appearances because I just can't force myself to listen to his voice or look at his face. My stomach literally balls up in a knot.

He said “We cannot look back and use the same old failed policies of the past”

I think this is one of those underhanded, blame it all on Bush jabs. I don't think he has the capacity to understand the history of America. He doesn't 'get' America. During his formative years he was being raised and educated overseas so he never experienced what growing up to be a United States of America patriot is all about. I really believe he is incapable of understanding what it feels like to have your breath catch in your throat when the flag passes by and the National Anthem is being played. He has never had those feelings about anything so how can he understand freedom and independence?

Correct me if I am wrong, but didn’t Pitt have a similar problem?

PJ, do I have the following correct or have I missed something?

I don't think Pitt ever had any problem with kids. His problem was so much more serious since it involved Pitt's ego-centric fear of being known by the company he kept. Poor Pittster had a published 1st selling book (or at least we were told Pitt was a reknowned best selling author) which had Scott Ritter's name linked with his for all of eternity.

Where I get a tad confused is in the Temporart Sock Puppet thread because Pitt is the T.S.P. but it looks like he is posting as if he was Ritter in order to gage what type of reception child molestor Ritter would get from DU. Pitt wasn't really concerned with how Ritter would be treated by DU, he just didn't want his association with Ritter to tar and feather Pitt. So, it was all about Pitt (which is typical).

    PJ, is my memory correct?

Why can’t blog pimps use their own name when they sign up here? Is it because they think we won’t notice the 2-4 daily blog articles posted by Swank, Jr on his blog which are in turn posted by freedomyes on FR?

I noticed this blog pimp back when he was only about 3 weeks old here. He never did answer my questions.

FR is owned and operated by Jim while his son John keeps the site up and running. The money is used to support FR and the Robinson's. Please note FR is an LLC as found on the bottom of the comments page. It's a full time job running a website of this magnitude and the Robinson's deserve to be paid for the service they provide.

Having said that, any donation of any amount you choose to make will help keep FR around. If you feel no need to donate in order to participate on this site, that's your right.

If you think it's okay for people to voluntarily donate whatever amount they can afford and think the experience of FR is worth the amount they choose then you can send in a donation.

Jim, once I make it through April 15th I'll be able to become a monthly donor again. Knocking on wood (among other things) that things have stabilized to the point to where I don't have to worry constantly about when the next "surprise" hospital stay will be.

I agree scrapes expose more skin but my husband didn't have a scrape as he only scuffed it. Not sure what other terminology would more aptly define it.

I'm not sure where the puncture wound you referred to came from as he had a small scratch and not a puncture. When his hand started to turn red and to swell we knew to take him to the hospital. The doctor treating him for this staph infection was the one who told us about not using neosoporin.
