People around the world perceive the United States as "too arrogant" and "too self-centered" because the country doesn't do enough to alleviate poverty and other social ills in the developing world
Okay, Jimmah........Two questions:
1. Can you name a country that offers more world aid than the U.S.?
Although state law allows security guards to use deadly force to protect property, Sgt. Kirkpatrick said that Mr. Pointer appeared to have overstepped his authority as he fired the single shot that hit Leshard.
Does the property have to reach a specific dollar level? I'm with you. These 'kids' that get away with stealing at the 'dollar' store, move up to automobiles and home burlaries in no time.
In the this era of 'choice', why can't a restaurant post a sign that allows only smokers or those indifferent to smoking, to enter the premises. No one 'forces' someone to enter any business, so what's the big deal? Non-smoking businesses can cater to the 'offended' and the 'offensive' can have their own place. Why this logical approach is never taken confounds me.
I agree randita, as I posted a similar recommendation on one of the threads. These responses are just what trolls crave. Unfortunately, many freepers crave responding to trolls.
"My top price is about sixty-five dollars, and I turn a very healthy profit on that; I make millions on the road."
"Only a complete greedhead would charge $150 for a concert ticket"
I'm confused Tom. Is making millions good or bad? Perhaps, considering your wealth, you can just give free concerts from now on. You know, for the 'little' people.
I may be the lone voice of dissent here, but I don't think this is terrorist related. If it were, these 'hits' wouldn't be confined to Virginia, given the reported widespread distribution of Islamic terrorist cells. Given their penchant for maximum effect, this just doesn't fit the M.O. of typical Islamic terror.
And Clinton pronouncements are significant in what way? Perhaps we can have a weekly T.V. show with Clinton giving his opinion on everything from teenage obesity to color coordinating bathrooms.
