The Broward County elections office is missing 18 new touch-screen voting machines worth $3,000 each because of poor record-keeping before the flawed Sept. 10 primary, the new elections chief said on Wednesday.

Don't worry, they are just reprograming the software so they will work "properly".

Miriam Oliphant should be tarred, feathered, beaten and chained to Alcee Hastings in a dungeon, sealed and ignored for 500 years and then their dust should be reclaimed and used for cat litter.

Nahhhhh,,,,,that's too easy.

They are not missing. Votes are being cast on them as I write. Then, they'll turn up on the 5th all stuffed and ready to be counted.

Officials for the county and Election Systems & Software, the machines' manufacturer, said the machines would be of little value to anyone who finds them.

Anyone, except the demon-rats.

DNC must be setting up their own polling place. Look for a landslide victory for all Demo candidates in Broward and surrounding counites.

As for machines used for voter outreach, two were left at the South Florida Sun-Sentinel until the paper informed the elections office three weeks ago.

The outreach program, paid for in part by a $603,429 state grant, also has been controversial. Oliphant has been criticized for using it to give thousands of dollars in public money to her political allies.

Outside consultants, many of them friends of Oliphant, were hired to demonstrate the machines to civic clubs and condominium groups, and at fairs and other public events.

Those "political allies" include the Sun-Sentinel, which is now scrambling and screaming in bogus indignation about Oliphant, whom they endorsed for Supervisor of Elections and printed glowing articles about before the primary fiasco. Now the poster girl for Democratic fraud and incompetence is radioactive, not running the election, but still in office, and the rat paper, along with the county politicians responsible, run for cover.

Hypocrisy at its finest.

"Cotter predicted the machines would be found 'in somebody's trunk or someplace's closet.'"

Yeah, but on election night, with 90% of the votes for McBride, and the other 10% as non-votes for governor.

Thay may be true, but I don't think that is the operative cause here.

I usually try to ascribe to the maxim, "Never attribute to evil intent that which can be adequately explained by stupidity".

But when dealing with 'Rat operatives, especially in Florida and New Jersey, one has to keep "evil intent" as the most likely motivation for anything they do.

The RATS' main goal on November 5th is to defeat Jeb Bush. Terry McAuliffe said the other day that if they can defeat Jeb, it will be easy to defeat President Bush in 2004. They are already bragging so I fear the fix is in unless they are stopped. I don't see President Bush letting his brother lose the governorship due to fraud by the RATS.

Don't forget the revelations about South Dakota.

The tip of the iceberg...

They will never be found. They'll be used to make voting tapes -- or whatever -- that will be inserted into the election, replacing votes from the least dem controlled precincts.

Word out of Broward county is that the missing voting machines will be replaced by a more high tech device that does not require the voter to touch the screen, thus leaving smudges that apparently affected only Phlemocrat voting in certain Florida counties. The new devices should prove to be a cost effective way to get the vote out once the shaking problems are rectified.

'These people' are far from incompetent. They've stashed away a few machines with which to do their criminal vote scam. Period. The democrat party is a criminal enterprise that takes no chances at the polls. Didn't florida 2000 and New Jersey 2002 show you that? These criminal pols are anything but stupid or incompetent. They are dangerously adept at fraud and deception.
