McCain's office is optimistic of his return to his duties, saying "Further consultations with Senator McCain's Mayo Clinic care team will indicate when he will return to the United States Senate." The tumor, a glioblastoma, is a highly malignant, aggressive, cancerous tumor, according to the American Brain Tumor Association. McCain is 80 years old. It's a long-shot but if this lawsuit idea wins it kills CommieCare. After Ted Kennedy died the law was changed ex-post facto to allow the Governor of Massachusetts to pick the Senator. That pick, Paul Kirk, voted for Obama Care. The people of Massachusetts then picked Scott Brown who would have voted against it. I figure Scott Brown has standing because Paul Kirk illegally voted in his place. Since that vote was critical for passage the bill itself and everything afterwards is illegitimate. I almost didn't make it. I did not check my E-mail until 10:30AM today and found out volunteer work was already underway! Hoping to at least catch the tail end of things I rushed out to 3129 Cactus street. Sarah Palin has breathed some life into the word "lamestream". We've been using "lamestream" here at Free Republic for quite some time. I looked up the word in the Urban Dictionary and found Sarahs use of the word was not defined. If I had not seen it with my own eyes I would not believe it, ABC on Good Morning America just ran a story on the special treatment Congress gets for Health Care. In it ABC reporter Dr. Tim Johnson even mentions the stonewalling he encountered by congress as he tried to put together this story. I'd post more but I could not find anything on the ABC website.

Even though the DC protest was much, much, bigger every little bit still helps. I did not see any SRM coverage so all the more reason to cover the one that happened in Phoenix today! Lots of flags and love of country on display . It happened in front of the State Senate. If they continue to ignore us using the first they will eventually see us use the 2nd amendment.

I came out early to see todays Tea Party in Bakersfield. It had a huge turnout. Hundreds at least with 5 lefties who wondered on in and then went to the fringe. (It got to crowded in the main square to move around by about 4:00 PM!). Congressman Kevin McCarthy came by along with local radio show host Jazz McKay. It got so packed I never even saw the two of them! I stayed pretty busy taking pictures so I have a sample of such below with running commentary.
