Saw an ad for an eco-friendly cleaning product on Fox News yesterday. I meant to check it out online, but got waylaid with other things. I cannot remember the name of the product. Does anyone know what it is? Also, is this product any good?

ALBANY, N.Y. -- New York would require people applying for a handgun license to turn over a list of their social media accounts so officials could verify their “character and conduct” under a bill headed toward passage Friday in the state Legislature.

What is being lost in the weeds is the effect of Amazon's ban of Redskins merchandise on its Mom and Pop third-party sellers. How many of these sellers are just small-time operators barely getting by? How many placed orders with manufacturers and paid for merchandise in advance of the anticipated season? And, this before the name Redskins became a pariah? I think there there is a high probability given that the Redskins are [were] a top-selling brand. I agree that Amazon has the right to ban the merchandise, as any private entity can. However, I believe that the Mom and...

Assuming the NPV were ever invoked, it would certainly end up before SCOTUS. In order to prevail at SCOTUS, NPV proponents would have to win four [possibly five] arguments: 1. That the NPV DID NOT violate the Interstate Compact Clause of the United States Constitution [Article I, Section X, Clause III]. 2. That when a state legislature vests the right to vote for President in its people, the NPV DID NOT USURP the equal weight accorded to each vote and the equal dignity owed to each voter [Bush v. Gore, 2000]. 3. That having once granted the right to vote...

It started with a bat in a bucket and a curious 6-year-old boy. Now that boy, Ryker Roque, is being kept under anesthesia in an Orlando hospital in a desperate bid to save him from the deadliest virus there is: rabies. If Ryker Roque lives, he will be only the third child in the U.S. to survive rabies, which is almost always fatal. But the family is trying an experimental technique they hope will help Ryker survive the terrible infection. It started when Ryker's father, Henry Roque, found a sick bat. "(I) found a bat, put it in a little...

A Marine was found dead today - age 78 or 79. His wish is to be buried at Quantico VA Cemetery. However, we [my girlfriend and I] are having trouble locating documents such as a will, DD-214, etc. He was a lifelong friend of my girlfriend - like a 20 years older brother. So, we will shoulder the responsibility for getting him buried - if we can get documentation and certified to do so. He was estranged from his family, he had a son - and possibly a daughter. And, we have no idea of their names, much less how...

A Maryland school district is instructing teachers and administrators not to tell parents if their daughters are bunking with male students who identify as girls on overnight field trips. Bob Mosier, chief communications officer for Anne Arundel County Public Schools, says in a training video detailing how to accommodate transgender students that privacy issues regarding the student prevent the district from informing parents about such arrangements.

Attn: Navy Vets Need help locating crew list information for USS Kidd [DDG-993]. My friend's brother recently died and he is in the process of having his brother inured at Arlington National Cemetery. I am helping him, as I have buried several members of my family there. My friend is trying to gather the pertinent documents required to proceed [DD-214, death certificate, etc.], but has little info on his brother's service at this time. One thing he does have is a "Plank Owner" plaque from the ship's commissioning. I am trying to find an official site on the Internet that...

Sgt. Bowe Bergdahl, who was released by the Taliban last year in exchange for five prisoners, is being charged with desertion, retired Lt. Col. Tony Schaffer told Bill O’Reilly on “The O’Reilly Factor” Monday. Mr. Shaffer, who now works for the London Center for Policy Research, said two separate military sources have confirmed to him that Sgt. Bergdahl’s attorney has been given a “charge sheet,” listing out the articles of the uniform military code that have been violated.

I am trying to purchase new original Sacred Sisterhood Of Wonderful Wacky Women Mugs and they seem to have gone off the radar - just since Christmas. The inscription on the inside reads, "Forever Friends Kindred Spirits." Everything seems to be out-of-stock on-line, with caveats that they may no longer be available. So, I a wondering if anyone on FR knows of a Mom-And-Pop specialty shop that carries them. Any help is appreciated.

I need a little help from knowledgeable FR posters. My wife recently came across her father's WWII medals. They were in poor shape. He was a member of Company C, 110th Infantry Regiment, 28th Division and fought in the Battle of the Bulge. His company was known as the "Sharpshooters of Munshausen." Anyway, my wife wants to get replacements and we came across a loose clasp that simply said, "1000." Her father was awarded the CIB and also the sharpshooter medal. I am assuming that "1000" means he qualified at 1000 yards. Am I correct?

President Barack Obama pleaded quietly for calm in Ferguson, Missouri on Monday night, speaking from the White House as rioters overtook streets in the St. Louis suburb and cable TV broadcasts showed them setting fires and attacking police cars. [snip] The president said anger is an 'understandable reaction' from people who believe 'the law is being applied in a discriminatory fashion,' a reference to Wilson being white and Brown being black. 'What we need to do is try to understand them,' Obama said. [snip]

An illegal alien released from detention under President Barack Obama's "catch and release" policy has been arrested and charged with the brutal murder of his girlfriend and the kidnapping of three children. [snip] Breitbart News discovered that Monterosso-Navas was picked up at the McAllen Station of the US Border Patrol in Texas, and issued registration number 2020277386 on June 14, with two children he said were his. Under current policies affecting unaccompanied minors and incomplete families, he was released with a "notice to appear" at a future immigration hearing.

House Oversight and Government Reform Committee Chairman Darrell Issa on Tuesday issued a subpoena to the Internal Revenue Service, ordering the agency to turn over the hard drive they claim is responsible for wiping out two years of critical email communications. Issa has dramatically widened his probe into the IRS after the agency announced last week that it had lost the emails, which may have provided information about an IRS policy of targeting for extra scrutiny and delay many conservative groups seeking tax-exempt status.
